This is the most honest businessman I have dealt with in a very long time. If it can be fixed cheaper elsewhere, he will tell you so. Otherwise, he will do an expert job for you, and usually get it out much faster than the Apple Store. As an Apple Certified Tech, I am also grateful for the confidence I have knowing Apple has given him the thumbs up for having met their rigorous standards for workmanship. An added plus: the owner, John is a former Apple Store tech, so he knows a lot of the ins and outs of how Apple works at the store level, too.

Wasn’t so friendly pretty rude guy and on top pricey not sure if $89 is good price for Factory Restore or just taking advantage of COVID19 found out there is other places that charge $39 for the same work he did. Unfortunately they are close and I need to get my laptop running but yeah check out other places before coming here

Offered a truly free diagnostic on an iMac. I was called back with 24 hours of dropping off the machine. The tech gave me an honest assessment even though I ended up not doing the repair as a result. The shop is classy and clean, the technician was knowledgeable and considerate, and I appreciate the honest business.

Got here at 11:08 and the door was locked. I knocked loudly every 4-5 minutes until 11:30. I called multiple times and there was no answer. So unprofessional.

An Apple store technician suggested that I take my MacBook Pro to Illume in La Habra when it was malfunctioning. I had previously obtained a written evaluation by a Geek technician that my MacBook Pro could not be fixed due to a bad motherboard. The owner of Illume, John Nelson quickly diagnosed the problem as being a swollen battery that was pressing on the motherboard. I did not need to buy a new computer; just a new battery. Over the years and with reasonable cost and professional, competent and honest service, I have not sought out another technician for repair and maintenance of my computers.

Ive been here three times and its been great every time. I have a 2012 macbook pro that I dropped. That was trip #1. They replaced the screen and did a diagnostic check up. About $250 several years ago. Then I got the sensor pad wet. Trip #2. About $180. They dried it out and did another diagnostic and fixed issues. Then it was just plain slow bc its from 2012. Trip #3 equaled a replaced hard drive and updated the ram and a few other computer-y things. About $365. Thats over the course of six years. Plus, even though it was a possibility, I didnt lose anything like pictures and documents.

Great service, brought in my iMac i (thought) was beyond repair; John was able to revive the computer in 1 day!!!
