Quick and convenient! My fiancé and I had decided around 11:30 Thursday night that we wanted to take a short vacation over the weekend. Our vehicle was scheduled to get repair work done, so we decided to rent. The website was very easy to navigate and by midnight that Thursday we had our car reserved. Enterprise does offer a service to pick you up, however we live just a few blocks from the location so we went to them. Upon arriving the 7 passenger SUV we reserved was unavailable. Fortunately they did have a 7 passenger minivan ready for me. This ended up saving me money on the rental. In the end, I got the space I needed, courteous customer service, and a lower rate than I had planned for. I will definitely choose Enterprise again in the future.
My flight comes in at 4:30. I expressed that because the airport location was not open I would be having a ride transport me ASAP before I even get my bags. It’s a 15 minute drive from the airport. I informed a young lady on the phone that there is a possibility that I may be five minutes late or so and I asked them to please accommodate me as I’m a loyal customer and the other location is closed. She told me that the other location recently updated their hours, that the 3rd st location locks their doors at 5pm (the exact time of my reservation,) that they were unwilling to accommodate me, and that I should just spend an extra $500 by picking up at the airport by changing my reservation at the last minute. Not exactly small town hospitality. In my city they would absolutely go the extra mile - especially if it was fulfilling a request to wait on me for five minutes past my pick up time. I guess if I run late and they smile and wave through a locked door I will catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my husband and our bags and return in the morning - better than paying an extra $500 for the same exact vehicle. Smh. Crossing my fingers. If they actually come through for me I’ll be sure to change my review immediately. I didn’t ask for 20 minutes. 5. Just 5. Just in case. And they think I should just go somewhere else and pay double. Terrible.

Frank Wilk is awesome! I had issues with my rental and he got me into a vehicle that better suited my needs. Super Geico-friendly and easy to work with. Ive taken cars from this location all over the nation. Any time Ive had an issue, theyve been more than willing to fix it.
It was okay. I personally will not rent a vehicle again. We rented a van to drive down to AR, first we expected for the price we paid for there to be DVD players equipped in them, which there isnt. Second, the van we received ended up having an intermittent a/c issue where it wouldnt work, had three different types of tires on it which caused it to have a terrible vibration at interstate speeds and a tire pull, and we had to pull over to fix the washer fluid sprayers for the front wipers as well. When I called them to see what to do, they said I could exchange the van, I was okay with that. She gave me the numbers to the nearest ones to me. I called the first, it would ring twice then hang up on me, called the second and they didnt have any vans, he told me I need to talk to customer service and connected me to them, when I talked to them they said they couldnt do anything and I needed to talk to the closest rental agency near me.... Well I proceeded to get transferred around 10 more times with no help. So the next day I just went to the airport myself to speak to someone directly. The workers had no sympathy and were somewhat unprofessional.Overall it was a pretty poor experience.

The team was very helpful when it came to a situation with the rental not being cleaned and at the end of the day handled the situation quite professionally and better than a 5 star rating! The staff at the 3rd street branch are simply AMAZING! The team never seems to disappoint. I had to leave town for a funeral and they made sure I rode in style! The process for reserving a vehicle is simple and the staff are always so accommodating. I recommend enterprise to anyone looking for a rental.

My car insurance reserved a rental for me with Enterprise. I warned them that Enterprise never has any vehicles available in either the Tomah location or La Crosse. I knew this from my relative who has in the same situation with their insurance company and an Enterprise rental. I called ahead of time to make sure. Low and behold, they have no rentals available until Monday afternoon. Its Saturday morning.You know the reason I am trying to pick up the rental this weekend is because I have places to be Monday morning. You would think an auto rental agency would be able to actually provide the services it specializes in. That is not the case with Enterprise in La Crosse.
Five stars to my buddies. Man I walked in the entrance and was immediately complemented twice. Frank and his charismatic compatriots really took my crashed car bummer mode and flipped it! They hooked me up with a clean fly looking vehicle, I will recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor and hit them up. Thanks again guys for everything!

Might as well take it off the ad Need a ride from your place to ours? No problem from this location.Had to make a reservation a couple of times here and theyre never able to pick you up or drop you off. Always coming with an excuse that theyre short on staff, pandemic and etc... By the way, I had a reservation in another town in Wisconsin a few days ago, and they were above and beyond with helping out with a pick up.

All the details of the rental process were not clear before arrival and I was not able to rent the vehicle because of documentation. They should better disclose this information rather than rushing customers off the phone and encouraging to submit the request for a vehicle. The representatives could not seem to be able to make a decision i was in the store for 30 + minutes before they gave me a definitive answer.
Enterprise has always been there for my family and I...whether it be providing a car for us when mine was in the shop (twice in the last year) or providing us with a vehicle to travel to Mississippi to see family. They have always been extremely helpful and nice to work with. I receive their cars in excellent condition and have never had any problems. I love driving their Dodge Chargers. :) This past experience I had the charger for 3 weeks...they worked with my insurance and were very prompt. Thanks for your great service. I look forward to renting from you in the future!
Picked up vehicle and exterior was filthy could barely see out of windows and mirrors windshield covered in ice. Had to wait in parking 20 minutes to defrost as no ice scraper in vehicle . This was a scheduled pick up and employee walked me to the lot said there the vehicle handed me the keys and walked away. On the plus side the vehicle was nice and met our needs. Was really impressed with the gas mileage for a full size SUV.

The staff here is very friend, very understanding, and helpful. I rent with them about twice a month and have been doing so for a few years. They are great to work with, even when you have problems. I have had fewer problems with them than any other rental car company and they have worked the hardest to fix all problems. Their cars are great. I cant say enough good things about them. They occasionally miss a piece of trash in the car, but they are by far the best rental car company in the area. This location has a fantastic manager and fantastic staff. I love renting with them because they are just that good. They have made getting a rental car into something that can be a pleasure rather than a chore.

Rented a car here while mine was in for accident repairs. Staff was very friendly. Selection of cars was minimal, only had a compact car and a 7-passenger SUV to choose from. My insurance only covered the compact, but I couldnt fit in it (Dodges fault, not Enterprises), and the rental agent worked out a great deal for me to upgrade to the SUV at a minimal cost. Only reason Im not giving a five-star rating is because the guy who was supposed to pick me up from the repair shop went to the wrong shop, so he was like a half hour late.
Frank is a fantastic manager. I have used many Enterprise branches before, and this was by far the best experience. They are all electronic, so no waste of time with paperwork. I spent all of 5 mins before I was on the road. Will definitely be using their service again.

It is not my norm to go out of the way to compliment or complain companies I deal with. Honestly it probably comes down to time and the fact that in most cases unless something was over the top in terms of quality or really, really bad in terms of quality (specifically airlines – lol) that I take the time to complain or compliment. And, in most cases I don’t run in to a lot of outstanding customer service. Also, as a business owner for 30 years, I don’t like what a negative review can do for a company as everyone has a bad day.Back to Frank and his staff and right down to the guys/gals that do the pick-ups. They really have treated me much, much better than I had ever expected and likely deserve. I pull some last minute pick-ups on them and early returns and they are always friendly and accommodating to fit my schedule. In today’s world I find it is odd (in a good way) that they are always happy and smiling. I travel a lot now and visit many enterprise locations and they are always consistently nice/friendly. It is just noticeable to me that Frank and his staff is a level above that.

Got a great mini van for a good price to help my friend move from WI to OH for the weekend. They stowed the seats for me and made it just like a mini cargo van and it worked great. And thanks for picking me up, I know it is tougher on Saturdays to do this.

A very arrogant rude man called me to inform me that we had out of star license therefore he cannot rent a vehicle to us and we were covered by our ins company money was not an issue, just needed to get home. My experience was great! Had to get picked up on the side of the road and they were there to pick me, my wife, and 4 kids in about 30mins after I called. Service was great and I couldnt have asked for more. I hope I dont need them again, but if I do, I wont hesitate to call!!

I had an awful experience with the car I most recently rented from Enterprise, which is not the usual. Ive been renting from them fairly often over the past year and been satisfied. This past Friday they gave me an OLD Jeep Wrangler, the type made for summer. Tin roof, no interior padding essentially except the floor and seats. The headlights repeatedly got frozen over as I was driving in the snow from WI to IL. I had to pull over multiple times on the highway, late at night, to knock ice off of the headlights and the windshield wipers. It was terrible. When I returned the car I said all of this and got a very half-hearted sort of blah oh sorry about that... I will no longer be renting from them.
Great place to go if youve been in an accident or you have an insurance claim if you go in to get her car cuz you need one for the day its very expensive I dont rent a lot of cars so maybe its average but it went from $22 a day with insurance to $90 was so much a mile for one day I thought that was ridiculous

Great service they were able to squeeze me in with a one-day rental even though they were fully booked.
My wife rents from here at least twice a month for business. Well, not anymore. When she picked up her last vehicle it had 5/8 of a tank of gas. When she returned it they said she only filled it to 9/16. So after spending all day driving across North Dakota she had to drive back to the station to avoid paying $6 a gallon through enterprise. Why would they not simply give a car with a full tank of gas and expect it returned with a full tank of gas? Anyway, well be using Hertz.

Frank was wonderful about working with me to get me a car rented in a extremely dire need. I appreciate all he did to help me out when my truck was broken down and I needed to go get a part to fix it fast.
Should of listened to the rest of the reviews charged me extra days arranged with assistandt general manager when I would be returning the vehicle and the days I should be charged! Come to find they charged me extra days and said our manager knows better then to say we wouldnt never had that issue before go to the airport to get a car these guys will rip you off.
Terrific team at both the Airport and Downtown La Crosse locations. I use Enterprise for UWL work and personal use. In the month of February my department had 6 vans/SUVs to transport over 35 UWL students and faculty to Madison. Our treatment from reservation to drop off was spectacular. Additionally, I had a rental for my personal use for about 10 days and was well taken care of by the whole team. Thank you Frank, Tristan, Jed, Sarah, and the whole office! Keep up the great work!

Reserved 2 mini vans for 10 people to travel 1 way to Memphis departing 6 am on Sun. Had to pick up Sat and called early to reconfirmed and was told one reservation was cancelled because they thought it was a duplicate and no van was available for the other. Was offered some Midsize (3) SUVs available in Eau Claire??? Went to the La Crosse airport and Julie had a van and had to substitute a Fullsize Dodge pick-up ( not a full sized back seat) So we had a pretty uncomfortable trip and spent $100 more for the rental and $75 more for gas for the truck. Dont comfirm reservations for equipment you cant get and dont cancel anybodys reservation without speaking to them!

I cannot believe the prices it was so reasonable I rented an 2018 Infinity Q50 drove from Phoenix to Wisconsin and it was a $157.00 rental fee. I will always use Enterprise from this point forward. I was however annoyed that I needed a major credit card beyond my debit card to secure a rental for a luxury car I think they should change that policy. Whats the difference, i dont see the point.
I had 2 terrible experiences from here.First, they are never favorable and friendly. I asked to them about point cuz i rent a car 4months. I was supposed to get some point but they said they dont know about that and just call to customer service. The reason they cannot handle this is they are busy..yes. I am not american. I am sure if i am american, they cannot say that.Second, they obiously did some mistake but they never said sorry. (They never admit this) They just made excuse and i am feeling like they ignore us because my english is not good.Even though the problem was occur because of their mistake, Mr. Frank who is assistant manager only said about language barrier. Basically, they never smile and dont know how to make customer happy.
Due to mechanical repairs on our vehicle, we needed to have a ride home and back to Lacrosse the next day. We spent 30 minutes on hold, several times, only to be hung up on by staff. Very rude and incompetent. We ended up having fam8ly make the round trip to pick us up. Would not recommend this branch of Enterprise.
Horrible company. They treat you like you are special until after your rental is over. They charged my credit card for the rental even though it was paid by my insurance company. When I called them to fix the issue they told me they can print me out a receipt and get refunded from my insurance company. Now, I have to go back and forth with Enterprise and my insurance company to get my money back. Pathetic excuse for a company.

To make a long story short. My mother was trying to make reservations for a car rental on a weekend. They quoted her at 150 for 3 days. I was looking on the internet and found that price to be way over priced - the internet was quoting for 110. So I found a discount code online and reserved a car for the 3 days for her. The price was 80 for the 3 days. For whatever reason my mother called to confirm everything was in order - and they tried yet again to charge her 110 quoting various extra facts and fees - mileages and whatnot. In the end -- I called and talked to them. They tried to tell me that my price on the internet was not including unlimited mileage in the bordering states-- which it CLEARLY STATED on the reservation.. which I had right infront of me and read it off to him. Now he is trying to tell me the unlimited mileage does not include michigan.. as somehow michigan.. a bordering state doesnt count for the unlimited mileage. They only count the peninsula of michigan for the unlimited mileage!Unbelieveable, so then he tries to tell me that for just $30 more i could have unlimited mileage anyway.. and why not just do that. I dont know about you guys who are reading this.. but $30 is better in my pocket than theirs.Anyway, at this point I told him i was going to look elsewhere -- which I did and found a comparable price.So as I opened my reservation it to cancel it -- I found he had changed the reservation -- it no longer said anything about the unlimited mileage and the daily price was changed. The discount I had was for 20% - which had made the original price 80 for the 3 days... he changed the daily price and the mileage note at the bottom --I am still in disbelief over the matter -- I am in NY right now and had I been back home I would have gone down there and confronted this scam.My advice - go elsewhere -- in fact. for the same price I rented from the toyota in la crosse for cheaper. Also, I had called other enterprise locations in wisconsin and yes.. infact they all do consider MICHIGAN a bordering state.. not just the upper peninsula which touches wisconsin.
