The USPS in Kyle, TX, has done an outstanding job of handling my mail for the past 22 years. I am always treated with respect by the counter staff and receive prompt and courteous service when I visit the lobby.Because I receive rural delivery, Ive found the carriers to be very kind, thoughtful, and courteous. As an example, I am a 70+ year old female who lives alone and during our February winter storm here in 2021, my carrier braved the iced driveway and sidewalk to bring my mail to my front door.So, HUGE KUDOS to the staff of the Kyle, TX, USPS. Well done, yall. Well done!
The avg rating for this post office are pretty valid. Postal carriers do not care about your deliveries. They will leave parcels that have large labels saying its perishable & to NOT leave in hot mailbox, item was left in hot mailbox anyway. To make it better label was facing so label wouldve been directly in front of them. Also carriers like to speed through neighborhoods not to mention think stop signs are a suggestion, particularly the Grey Dodge Durango in Waterleaf.
Please get it together. Keys don’t match up with corresponding boxes and my items are rotting in the texas heat. Customer service number recommended waiting until Monday. YAY!!!!

Multiple times I have a key left in my locker that goes to an empty bin my items are left in a different locker that I dont have the key for... when online I had said to hold at the post office but instead of doing that they have it out for delivery again so I have to have someone waiting at my house all day once again.
It is not the only time they do the same, they always leave the letters where they want in the trailers and in the mailboxes each has a letter and in the letter there is also a name and a unit and the letter I do not know why they do not leave it in their mailbox I always have to look in another mailbox that is not mine, and there are my letters every day, it is the same problem as every day if they do their work as they are at home 🏡🤷 If you do not want to work, do not do it, do not work as a worker you have to do your job well 😒😡
Mailmen dont even try to notify you they are at the door and just leave a slip so you have to go get it yourself. horrible
The absolute WORST. Whoever it is that regularly delivers the mail in the neighborhood must believe he is almighty. Three times now I’ve been notified by a buyer that the package was not delivered and that USPS “left a note”. However, all three times I was HOME and no note was left. When I requested a redelivery, the package was delivered three days later. I plan to escalate this further as TODAY the mailman wrote on my mail. Ridiculous!
Getting slower on mail deliveries. Now after 5 pm until mail is delivered. Please bring back the carriers that deliver on a more timely basis

Received notice that a package was undeliverable due to no adult being available to sign. Both adults in the household work from home. No attempt at contact was made, no knock occurred. Trying to get redelivery, but the system is down and I am now on an hour plus hold with USPS. Never been impressed with this office location, its shady practices (have had international packages be delivered before when we have lock boxes, so its not like someone stole it from my box), and sketchy hours of operation. Wish I could rate 0 stars.

Sent a package to my granddaughter on her birthday and couldnt be delivered due to owed postage, I am sure I paid all postage from my location. They left a note with re delivery info but websites not responding, and they will not answer the phone, USPS in Lake Jackson TX answers after only two rings and cities are about the same size.
Last week I made a mistake on my package by not putting my whole address down when I ordered it. So the post office couldn’t deliver it. I called them and they said they would look for it in the back and they responded quickly and with friendly service. Eddie helped me out a lot and he is awesome! I appreciate the help they gave me to get a package I really cared about!
The only people that seem to review are the ones that have had a bad experience... I’ve lived here for over a year now and the USPS office in Kyle is very competent compared to my last area.My mail comes on time and undamaged for the most part.I do not get mail for the previous people at my address. It is automatically filtered out.The mail people have always been extremely polite and friendly when I’ve seen them at my mailbox or called the office on the phone.All in all, they are doing great and running a tight ship.
Very very rude. Can’t call office directly. I go to the Buda post office for everything I can. But when I need to go to the Kyle post office I just get ready for rudeness and zero interest in solving the problem. Even though solving the problem would be easier.
We lost a package that the driver said she dropped at our door despite having ring. I told the manager that we have had a lot of reports in our neighborhood group and he replied “I don’t care about that” I told him he will care as I am saying it and we have had issues of the wrong key given for packages.He changed his tune once I escalated it further. Now the only other time I’ve gone back to send a package to a buying customer “was never brought in”

Worst USPS I have ever had to encounter. They have lost 3 packages, wont pickup packages when scheduled. Calling the Poster master is a joke. Never received any refunds after claiming. The counter clerks hate their job. Use Buda now and much happier.
I get other peoples mail in my community mail box way too often. Since they usually live on my same Loop, I always drop the mail at their homes, because I cant trust that if I put it back in the outgoing mail that the post office wont return to sender. Today I had one of their notifications left on my door when it should have gone to a different Loop at the front of the neighborhood. The intended recipient also has a last name thats not even close to mine. I just hope that if someone receives my mail, theyll bring it to my house also. What is wrong with this post office? Mis-deliveries have been an issue for years. Also, having 2 hours to try and do business at the Post Office itself on Saturdays is crazy.

Just took multiple items to this location. Tracy the blonde refused to weigh any of them, and just gave me stamps to put on myself. I know for a fact they all weigh different and have paid various postage on these items before. Pure laziness, and no people skills at all.
If I could I give them negative stars so rude has a lot a problems with me but when I have problems they dont care I have stop my self from reporting them or giving them one star because amnot like that but there so rude they dont care about my mail is it not legal to get someone else mail there not doing there job right at all I have live here my whole life
No one ever answers the phone there. There is no way to leave a message and have someone get back to you. Have a question or problem? Youll have to drive there, wait in line, and speak to a person, which is exactly what everyone wants to be doing during the pandemic.
I have received other mail with wrong address and even wrong number. This is becoming repetitive, dont know what to do with this problem.
I had to go to the post office at the facility in Kyle Texas the other day to try and mail an oversized package. I walked in first thing that morning and there was only one other person at the counter. When that person left, these two ladies did not even acknowledge my presence didn’t ask if they could help me and then acted like I was intruding when I asked them a question. I just kind of looked at them both and said I guess I’ll go to UPS for help. Sour faces and rude behavior. It’s not a wonder that the post office has a bad reputation if they have people like these two ladies in other locations! Go to the UPS location next to the H-E-B in Kyle. They are awesome!!
They are the worst. 2 lost packages in the last year. 1 a neighbor returned to me, 1 never showed up even though tracking indicated it arrived at my parcel. Multiple times I get other neighbors mail. 1 package I did receive was shoved into a small parcel and damaged. No use trying to contact them or making a claim, they never try to help you. Bad service. You are better off paying extra using another delivery service to send or receive your packages.
The Kyle Post Office is one of the best that I have been to in a very long time. The folks there are friendly, fast and very helpful. They are great and I hope the Post Office never eliminates this office.
The worst workers ever!! Communication to the public is bad! I asked to hold all mail til I moved to my new home and was told that I need to come to post office to pick up any mail til I get new address, I’ve done that and I go to pick mail and there’s none that it has been routed to my new house how is that when information was given 5 seconds ago? Tracy is rude and does not listen and started yelling I’m going not going rounds with you,! Communication is not her best suit! Tracy angry and needs to be out of the public.Need better ppl to service the community. Inside post office service is always quick and friendly. However, the postal carrier service leaves a lot to be desired and when contacting the postmaster of Kyle, or speaking to someone at the facility about a delivery issue, they become very disinterested and frankly blow you off.I receive my mail in group mailboxes in my subdivision. With a mail key that is put into your box for larger packages that are stored in thus numbered box.My house number and the house across the street have similar numbers - the last two numbers are the same - just inverted (56- 65)Our carrier, AT LEAST WEEKLY, puts a letter, for the neighbor in my box and vise Versa.Has even put a package for me in the package box and has put the key to retrieve the package I. The neighbors mailbox.Thank Goodness, the neighbors are honest, and brought the package to me.BUT, this should not be happening consistently, and is frustrating, not to mention inconvenient and stressful when expecting important mail.I have contacted the PO and always get the same excuse, - a temp carrier on this route!Well the TEMP must be on a long term contract for my route, as this has been going on for at least 3 years!And obviously is working too fast and NOT PAYING ATTENTION!I understand a mistake occurs occasionally, but weekly?So frustrated with the lack of concern over this matter!
Postal Carrier, just delivered me a sorry we missed you note and could not deliver because of gate. My gate was open. My door cracked and my blinds were open as well and I saw them not make an effort to even try and bring it to my door. I thought they were just delivering mail not my package. This is not the first time Ive experienced their laziness.

Apparently when you have a certified letter, my mail carrier thinks it is ok to not get out of their truck, beep their little horn, and if you dont come out, leave a note that they tried to deliver your mail and drive away.Sometimes he doesnt even bother with that, but instead just leaves the note. My wife stayed home from work because these documents are important, and never knew they came, until I checked my doorbell camera. So what do we have to do, stand out by the mailbox all morning so they dont have to strain themselves?Is this the same mail carrier that was leaving mail on random cars a while back? Apparently the Kyle Post Office is a joke .
We moved into our house June 27, 2016. I put in a forwarding address at the post office and for 9 months the mail went next door and not to me. Looking at other websites, it looks like this is normal for Texas. We are from the west coast where mail is delivered in an exemplary manner. I am thoroughly frustrated with our mail here in Texas. I have lost two packages in the last year and USPS has no explanation.
Very poor service. No one ever answers the phone. I have been trying to recover a package for the past 15+ days now. After multiple phone call attempts I finally spoke with someone who took my info and said they would call me back the next day with an update. Four days later i finally get through to someone on the phone and they say no notes, no idea, and that an email would be sent to me.Days later, no email, no resolution, and my package is still floating around somewhere. Please get help USPS.
Keep getting other peoples mail all the time from random addresses or the neighbors mail. Makes me wonder how much of my mail has been going to some random person in Kyle. My house, mailbox, and street name or all clearly marked so I dont know what the problem is. Its like the delivery guy is stoned to the bone and cant read numbers and letters. When I know someone is going to send me something important, I will definitely have them send it via another carrier so that Joe Blow across town doesnt get it instead.
Today I was backing out of my driveway and no one was around. I get about halfway in the street and my car indicates that someone is about to hit me. It was the Kyle postman that delivers in waterleaf. I confronted the man to drive slower. He replied with and I quote, “well I didn’t hit you”. I then drove away knowing that his peanut brain could not fully comprehend a normal conversation. I don’t understand how someone like this can handle my mail. If I could give zero stars I would have done that.
Was notified by the shipper that my package was delivered to a parcel box on Feb 15th. On the 18th around 3;30 pm, I went to the post office to inquire about my package and one of the ladies told me they would most likely get back to me tomorrow since it was closer to the end of the day. By the time I got home, the issue was sorted out and I received a call to check my box for a parcel box key. (I assume it was inadvertently not placed in my box)All in all, not a big deal and was glad problem was solved same day.
Absolutely terrible. They leave packages in lockers which cannot be opened, drop off notes explaining that no one was home to receive a certified letter when there was someone home the entire day who never even heard a knock, never answer their phone, and have hours which make it essentially impossible for Kyle residents who work in Austin (news flash: Kyle is a suburban community!) to interact with them. This is in addition to the normally-expected USPS tactic of randomly delivering strangers mail to you or your mail to strangers.
Why close at 4:30 instead of 5:00 like every other post office Ive ever seen or been to? Makes things very difficult for anyone with a day job to run a side business
Seriously, they are a fine post office. I lived in a small town in Ohio before moving to Kyle. I found a Christmas card with a check in it one spring, after the snow all melted, that apparently the postal worker had thrown behind my mailbox. We had mail that never got delivered to and from. Now thats a bad post office. Kyle is reliable and I have never had an issue with sending my packages to Ohio and elsewhere. No complaints.

Having visited and used these facilities before, my daughter and I went in with a simple question. To our HORROR, all we encountered was an employee that was not only disrespectful and UGLY, but did not answer my daughters question and proceeded to belittle and respond negatively to her. With my granddaughters in the vehicle outside, all I could do was enter the premises and find out the persons name. As a public government employee, you would expect more from our Tax paying Dollars at work.Thoroughly disappointed parent.
Rudest employees ever! I’ve lived at my address for a year and a half always check my mail every two weeks they decided that our address was vacant and started returning my mail when I come up to get it done they were extremely rude to me telling me that that’s not enough time to be checking up your mail you need to check your mail every day. Then they get the mail carrier to come up and tell me that she put a notice in my mailbox and when it’s not picked up in 10 days then they start returning it which is a big fat lie then when I’m trying to talk to her she literally turns around and walks away for me. You would think with the amount of bad reviews on this post of someone would do something about the people that work here
Second time in the past 6 months I have ordered something from Amazon and was shipped through USPS and they have delivered the item, but Im not in possession of it. I dont understand how other mail can arrive at my mailbox, but when it comes to packages, they get delivered somewhere else in the neighborhood. The current postman needs to be let go if he cant perform adequately. This is sad, and I am not the only unsatisfied resident of Kyle, and yet there doesnt seem to be any reformation on the Post Offices end.Update~Called the post office the same day as the delivery and told them the issue and what may have happened, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone found out the problem right away and offered to go pick up the package at where it was left, and immediately redelivered it to my address, so thank you.
The staff here is very rude and are a bunch of stereotypes when it comes to government employees. It is hard not to believe they are lazy, rude, disrespectful, and tacky. I was standing in line waiting for assistance and the two employees started talking to each other. I attempted to ask a question and although they looked my direction the minute I started speaking they rolled their eyes and started talking to each other again. I could easily take my services to Fedex or UPS, but with that level of service the convenience of using the post office would be hard to justify.
They leave their phone off the hook, and both my tax return info and important letters from Social Security have not made it to my home at all, nor have they been returned to the sender. That information could be used for identity theft. Its just floating around out there and I feel totally powerless to do anything about it.
This is the second time were expecting a package that they claim there was no one at the house. I was home all the day waiting for the darn package and no one came to the door. Both times there was no note in the mailbox nor attached note to our door indicating they had stopped. This lady at the counter, I believe her name is Henri is rude and no customer service skills. She just gets defensive and gives you attitude. I had to go to the post office in Kyle to pick up a package that was marked as PRIORITY MAIL 2-DAY. I made the comment to her that this took way beyond longer than 2-day. Her response was that there is no guarantee. Ladies and gentlemen, we pay extra for priority mail 2-day service and there is no guarantee according to this woman. This is why USPO is losing business. Highly incompetent people!
Post office lost my sons bday gift. His bday is tomorrow 12/11. Package been lost for 10 days. Unacceptable. Cant call because wait time is over an hour. Also the mail carrier keeps getting my mail and neighbors mixed up. Ive lost important mail such as school pictures, bank statements, vehicle registration, bills etc.
I ordered FOUR Christmas presents, in November, so before the crazy rush.. and they lost them. The package was shown delivered to my mailbox, which is locked so it couldnt have been stolen. Thanks to my mom, she replaced the presents I couldnt afford to so all the kids could have a nice Christmas. I understand accidents happen but after going in person to the usps and calling them and filling out a bunch of forms, I received no help and the package was never found. Of course, dumb me decided to order another present online and this one is now two days late when it showed delivered... well see. Cant believe how the usps doesnt have to be held responsible for packages they said they delivered to a locked mailbox.

My package had our gate code, the postman was too lazy to read instructions on the address and took our large package back to their office.
I asked for a slower and cheaper shipping on a package, but was ignored and charged a more expensive shipping. When I called to get it resolved, the representative was no help. She just said there were no refunds. They did offer money off my next shipment, but that is of no use to me. I rarely ship anything. I am very disappointed and am not at all surprised to hear reports of post office reduction and closures.

Since November 2014, I have mailed out 4 packages and multiple letters. Every person I met greeted me with a friendly face and was very professional. I cant complain and feel bad for the previous poor reviews people have posted, maybe times have changed?
The Kyle Post Office has lost yet another of my packages. The tracking said it was delivered, but instead of my package, someone elses was put in the bin. I took that box to its rightful owner, but they havent seen my package. I reported it to USPS, but havent heard any update on it. Its like they just dont care. I try to use anyone else other than USPS for packages, but some vendors switch to them for the final delivery. This was the case for the most recent one from UPS, but given away to someone else by USPS.Added 6 Dec 2018 - After having more packages delivered to neighbors, this last one is just nuts. The carrier left a package at my door, but forgot to leave a second package. We have security camera footage showing that he left the first package and never rang the doorbell or knocked. Instead of coming back, he claimed that he returned and left a notice that there was no secure location to deliver it. If the door was secure enough for one package, why was it not secure for another? He never came back or left any notice. Its just laziness and lying. I can understand a mistake, but falsifying a government document just to save himself from coming back is unforgivable. I opened a case with the main postal service. As if thatll do any good.
Last year this post office was horrible. I still stand by the fact that whoever delivers the mail to Kensington Trails in Kyle needs to be re-trained or just find another job. They constantly lose packages, and misdeliver items that get stolen by neighbors.However, my item was stolen today after being misdelivered and Eddie the new postmaster went above and beyond to help me, and to make sure that the carrier is going to be talked to about this problem. Its about time that someone came in and started cleaning up this post office and reprimanding lazy actions!Thank you Eddie for restoring my faith.
Worst post office ever. Our carrier is always loosing everyone’s packages and putting mail in the wrong boxes. The supervisor Carlos is the biggest jerk ever and just kept making excuses for the carriers mistakes. Wished we had our old carrier and people that new what they were doing.
My package was not delivered. No note was left on my door... my apartment complex has parcel lockers. And someone was home and never once heard a knock at the door. The rude lady at kyle post office pretty much told me she doesn’t know what happened to it and that the postal service has a lot of packages to deliver. I asked the mail carrier when I saw him one morning and he didn’t seem to speak English... or he actually knew what happened to my package.So therefore, all my packages that require usps from kyle are being delivered to a family members address where they have never had a problem and the mail carriers, post office workers are helpful, not rude and helpless.

The post office in Kyle accidentally took a very important package to the wrong address and after expressing my concerns, both Kevin and Rebecca did everything possible to find my missing mail.After finding the missing package Kevin personally took it to my apartment while i was at work.Thank you guys so much.
They dont handle FFL transfers for firearms seriously. No one picks up the phone. No one contacts the recipient. The government needs to track and enforce Federal Firearms Licence packages more seriously.
We actually received the box all taped up and opened it and was stuffed with filling but our item was missing. Shady post office. Also our neighborhood box os supposedly broken so we have to go in to pick up our mail, but box works fine cuz I checked. We avoid using usps as much as possible.

Weve never had so many misdelivered packages and missing mail before we moved to Kyle. I dont know what it is about this Post Office, but if theyre looking for offices to shut down, this one would be high on my list. I have to go to Buda to mail stuff out so I can be relatively sure that my mail will get there. I avoid buying from vendors who use USPS and always ask for an alternative delivery service. Just today, I ordered some items that would have been free shipping through USPS Priority Mail, but opted to pay $16.16 for UPS ground. Id rather wait and pay more to get my package than take a chance on USPS.
Went to the po today thinking they closed at noon. got there at 10:50am and the line was to the door. i got 2 priority boxes and dropped my already postaged mail in the box. put items in them, sealed them, got in line. the old rude ass guy yelled at me they were closed (11:02am) in front of all the other people!!! i explained i had been there by the mailbox cause there was no other space.he basically called me a liar by yelling at me saying no i just walked thru the door. because i didnt want to cause a scene, i left. very upset the way i was treated. ive been up there idk how many times to get mail from previous people forwarded or stopped to no avail. i have lived here 6 yrs and recieve mail for 10 different people. no exaggeration!! what do they do? NOTHING. i am a military wife. my husband served this country for 20 years in the Marine Corp. This is by far the worst post office with the rudest employees and even worse postal carriers. USPS needs to clean this one up for real!!!
Crappy service, counter help have attitudes and plenty of excuses, lied to me 3 times, I was sitting on my front porch at 730pm, pkg was supposed to be here by 8, I get a text messages from this post office we just tried to deliver your pig at 7:28pm, but we couldnt access the front door well re-attempt tomorrow ...I go to Kyle P.O. and then they say, the postman couldnt deliver it !? Wht did they lie about trying to deliver? I was sitting 3 ft from my front door on the porch, no one from USPS showed up...I live on a public street, any one can walk up to my front door....no access !? So woman with an attitude takes my name and number and says she will follow up and call me, and if its not delivered, she will have someone drive it over like Im going to believe this after all the other lies...well I just watch the mail delivered, and no pkg... btw this has my dogs medicine in it, now they say deliver on Monday ....3 says after I need the pkg... not holding my breath.
Our post lady is horrible. Today, priority package was to be delivered. Showed out for delivery even after our mail had been delivered. I called the post office and was told package should be in there or a key left. I went back to box and nothing. Person I was speaking to said to go back in about 30 minutes. So i did. Still nothing. The tracking number was updated at 4:51pm showing delievered and nothing. This is such BS. Why is it hard to do your job?
I HATE KYLE, TX POST OFFICE. THEY ARE SO DISORGANIZED BOTH AT THE COUNTER AND BY PHONE. I AM SICK OF THEM, IF I DIDNT LIVE IN KYLE I WONT USE THEM. THEY NEED MORE COMPETENT PEOPLE WORKING THERE, NOT JUST TO HAVE PEOPLE MAKING AN EASY PAYCHECK. NO WONDER THE POSTAL SERVICE IS GOING UNDER.
I have neved lived somewhere with so many issues from the ppst office. Since moving here less than 2 years ago we have had 3 pieces of mail (that we are aware of) not show up. OF COURSE all of those contained either money or giftcards (no way thats coincidence). Also: people park along the street in our neighborhood and one day the mail person didnt feel like getting out of the truck so he/she PUT THE MAIL UNDER CAR WINDSHIELD WIPERS. So illegal, not to mention that you have no idea whose car is whose or if they even live in the house. Its so bad! My suggestion: any issues, call post master, no one else seems to care about doing things right.
I dont know whats the issue with the Quail Ridge Drive route, but the mail is being delayed more and more. My checks are mailed from Austin on Thursdays. I used to get them on Fridays like clock work and now I get them as late as Mondays.Last week, my neighbor down the road brought MY mail from his box and it was a small package. Now this is just nonprofessional and carelessness......SAD!!!

The tracking status says received but theres no key in my mail box. The same thing happened last week and someone in my neighborhood brought me my misplaced package. Why cant they just do their job correctly, its so fustrating
Ive had a lot of trouble with mail not showing up. Have a problem now with they key in my neighborhood not fitting the lock box it was assigned to. Tried to call but its busy 24/7. Absolutely impossible to get through to these people.
This post office is to busy policing post office box applications while neglecting other duties, as is evident in other comments. I had my Social Security renewal, in the envelope, and they refused this as a second form of identification! Wasted an hour of my day off!
Ive been trying to find out what happened to my package it says it was delivered to the post office and my mail carrier had it last but it never got scanned out so according to the tracking she still has it. This is my second package that I havent received. So I guess the mail lady has sticky fingers. No one can give me a straight answer and Ive been dealing with them for over a month. TERRIBLE service.
4 Tracked packages over the course of a year continually say delivered and have yet to arrive, still no resolution from the PO. Also more often than not I receive mail that doesnt match my street nor address.

Neighbors have been dropping packages left in their inbox with my name and address, late yesterday picked my email, was expecting a package, key was there indicating arrival but surprise! box was Empty
They are so friendly here and nice . It feels homey Ihave gone twice and my mother has gone many times ! Can complain.

I have (had) a package that was shown to be out for delivery on a particular date but then nothing....no further information....and its been over a month now.

They are terrible. 20% of our mail isnt ours or delivered to a neighbor. How can you be so bad at something and do it for a living?
The mail is constantly a day late from the guarantee and this time it disappeared for 24 hours between Austin and Kyle. They do a horrible job tracking as well.
My mail was delivered to my neighbor OPENED and an item was missing. So I dont know if it is the carrier or your office for the issue.
