My son is gaining confidence with each session. Today he came with his gift cards he earned from Sylvan/Kyle and said here mom something for you. I told him thank you but they are yours! You earned them! And the staff is great at communicating with you, no problems with scheduling and rescheduling sessions. I’m happy with my choice of tutors.

Before we started our child at Sylvan, we researched the company and found they has high reviews. When we met with Vanessa the Center Director, she provided a detailed walk through of how the center works and expectations from our child/teachers/parents. Our child started to attend and loves going there. Our childs confidence level is improving and so are his grades. I would highly recommend Sylvan for anyone looking for a place to assist in their childrens educational future. The center provides open communication on our childs progress or where we will need to refocus on academically. The Kyle center is not only professional but they are welcoming to parents and students. Shout out to Vanessa, Center Director, Ms. Cassie and Mr. Zeke, teachers for helping our child.

I am very happy that I made the choice to look into Sylvan, and my daughter loves it! She is currently enrolled in the Reading, Writing, and Robotics camps this summer with Sylvan. We are definitely signing her up for classes this coming school year.

My son has been coming for a couple of weeks now and I have seen an improvement in his reading. I also like that mask are required and they also take temperature checks. I am glad that I made this move to get him the extra help he needs.

I am a child getting tutored at this place and I must say it is great. The staff really cares and will help with anything and everything to the best of their abilities. I was struggling hard with a class but now that Ive started tutoring here, I am doing great and Im able to understand the material with someone there to guide me through the work if I need it.

My daughter just started at Sylvan to support her academic learning during the summer and everyone has been great explaining and communicating expectations and the process.

We have had our youngest at Sylvan for almost a year. She has improved with reading significantly. Her teacher even remarked on her progress. This Sylvan location has always been ok but recently I think it transferred ownership and it is so much better. We drive from San Marcos just to come here.

They are great people very caring and understanding. They make sure that all of our concerns were answered and that we Know how everything worked and then our son was happy. I love this place. My daughter was really struggling in school with her reading and writing, so I decided it was time to get some help. Everyone here is amazing! My daughter (who doesnt like school) absolutely loves coming to Sylvan. They truly care about the students and go the extra mile to make sure they have the skills they need to succeed. Within weeks I could see a huge improvement in her reading and writing skills. She would have never been able to catch up without them.

Sylvan of Kyle is great, my son has been going for 7 months and has progressed so much. He received great accurate assessments of where he was academically and followup is wonderful and work of all the tutors and directors has been great. The staff knows my sons name when he walks and they are always helpful when anything is asked. Erica even came to a school meeting to give input on his progress and suggestions, which was a tremendous help. I cant say enough good things about Sylvan of Kyle!

There are not enough words to express how happy I am with Sylvan. They sat down with us and communicated everything from the beginning. Since my son has started a few months ago we have definitely noticed a change in how he feels towards school. He loves his teachers at Sylvan and enjoys learning now. They have been so helpful every step of the way. I know its an investment but it is worth it to see my child enjoy school and his confidence grow!

Jewell and admin staff are wonderful. Very caring and knowledgeable about the dynamics of education, learning, reward and extracurricular.I entered this as a partnership with the parents of my grandchild. He loves school, but struggles. As a beginning 5th grader it was important to all of us that we not lose him at this crucial time of paradigm shift in learning and teaching. He loves Sylvan and he loves being able to discuss not only what he worked on, but to be able to explain it to us.I believe it will allow him to understand better what he is required to learn, to gain confidence and to excel.

My son has gain so much confidence in his ability to read. The staff is very flexible and caring. The monthly parent meeting are very informative and all the staff seem very involved. My only regret is not taking him sooner.

From the moment I walked in the store at the Kyle location, I knew this was a place I wanted to work. The teachers truly care about the kids and want to see them succeed. Everyone who works there encourages the kids to be their best and really takes the time to individualize learning and make it meaningful for every child.

One of my kids really struggled with reading, and tested nearly 1.5 years below grade level. After spending a few days a week at Sylvans last summer, we were able to catch him up to grade level prior to school starting. He went again this summer to help prevent learning loss and is now testing a grade level ahead! Not only that, but his self confidence is so much stronger. Sylvans helped my oldest so much, I decided to send my daughter too, as she had been struggling with math. Not only are they working with her on the basics, they are also working with her teacher and helping her with homework, so that shes getting help with the skills her school teacher is working on. And bonus, I am not fighting with her about math homework!The staff at the Hays location is amazing. The teachers are friendly and fun, and the manager there is present, flexible and extremely knowledgable about the STAR tests and state rules and regulations. She is a great communicator and facilitator with parents and teachers.Heres the thing: Sylvans is expensive, and it takes time, but IT IS WORTH IT! Your kids will feel so much better about themselves, they will enjoy the extra help and attention from the amazing teachers, and they will perform better in school.

My daughter has attended Sylvan for the past two years and her grades in school have gone up one to two letter grades! She enjoys the one on one attention and the ability to ask questions. Sylvan in Kyle has also been very flexible and accommodating as we live out of town and have to adjust our schedules sometimes.

Amazing center!!! I am super excited to put K in Sylvan. She just went for the assessment and Jewel made her feel so comfortable that she is excited to go back!!! Joining Sylvan means there is already a sense of relief at home and a lot less tears between K and I over math homework!7/30- Its been 5 months since my first review and I still feel the same! My daughter has improved tremendously in math and reading and the best part is she enjoys going. My daughter told me she wanted to be in Sylvan for the rest of her life so she could be super smart, I told her to get a job, and that shows me just how much she is enjoying it and benefiting from it!

My son has struggled for some time but beginning Sylvan just 3 weeks before the school year has impacted his entire outlook on math and reading. He gets it and enjoys the challenge. Becky and Sabrina are awesome educators genuinely caring for our son. We love Sylvan and wish we had pulled them into our family years ago. Thank you Sylvan now and years to come. Everyone should at least give them a try...specialized for your specific needs you wont regret it.

My son started in June he is now where he needs to be in school. At first he was not sold of the idea of going to school in the summer. Our first day we met Jewel and she was absolutely wonderful. When we left our first meeting my son wanted to know when he could start. When he goes to class I dont have to push him to go, he wants to go. Thank you for helping my son.

So far-so great! We havent been going long at all-which is my only hesitancy for 5 stars. Obviously seeing growth is an important part too. The teachers-especially Erica-have already made a difference in my kiddos attitude. Thats a great start!

Since starting last year, my daughter has improved so much. Going in as a struggling kindergartener, she couldn’t read and had such a hard time with learning. All her teachers got her up to the kinder standards and have helped her with her confidence. She is now going to the first grade and will continue with Sylvan.

This place is GREAT!!! All of the staff go the extra mile to work with you in any and every way. So friendly and nice. We saw improvement in our daughter after only two weeks of instruction. We would highly recommend Sylvan for your educational needs. They can get it done!

Definitely one of my favourite places to work. The people genuinely enjoy teaching, and it shows in their attitude every time they come in.In terms of the student side, Sylvan provides a high level of individualisation, and the staff in Hays county do everything they can to make that a reality for every student. The teachers are supported by an excellent director who takes interest in the lives of every person who walks through the door, whether student, teacher, family member, or otherwise.

The center staff has been wonderful and my child has made substantial progress. In six months my sons reading level improved by 2 full grade levels. Thank you for pouring into my son, and caring about his academic success. Mrs. Jewel, Ms. Amanda, and staff keep up the great work.

Sylvan Kyle has done a great job on working with my son on reading and math. He has only been there about a month and has already moved up a grade. Jewell and Erica are amazing, love how involved they are with the parents and kids.

We have been with Sylvan for over a year and have see results first hand. We are working on filling in gaps in math from previous grades while helping with current classwork and tests. We have seen positive growth in his grades. My son loves Sylvan which is a relief after trying two other programs that my child dreaded.

Sylvan has been wonderful and patient with my son who has special needs. They have been accommodating and helped create an individualized plan so that he can be successful in their program.

We have been using Sylvan or several years now with our two oldest boys. Both had some learning delays which were concerning to us. The staff at Sylvan developed a plan specific to their needs and go out of their way to talk and/or meet with the teachers to make sure everyone is on the same page. I cant thank them enough for what they have done for my boys.

My granddaughter has had reading struggles since Kindergarten. Three hour nightly homework sessions were normal for us during 1st and 2nd grades. We did our best to help her on our own. Her 2nd grade teacher felt she needed to be repeat 2nd grade due to her inability to read at grade level. Our family felt that we HAD to get help. We scheduled an assessment. We were very surprised and pleased when we picked her up from her assessment appointment and she asked if she could go back. She said she liked it! The staff customized a plan for her needs and our schedule. She has been in school for a month now. She came home today with a spelling test score of 93!!!! She was proud of herself. The teachers at Sylvan gave her the tools she was lacking and the encouragement she needed to try. During a recent teacher/parent meeting, our granddaughter was described as positive, a good leader, and improving in her reading!Thank you, Sylvan of Kyle and Hays County. I feel I have my happy granddaughter back. I appreciate your one on one conferences and encouraging emails too. Thank you for being willing to be her advocate at school conferences also. She has attended Sylvan since mid summer and still enjoys her time at Sylvan.

Having worked as a teacher at this Sylvan location for about a year, I can tell you the administrators and teachers are top-notch and really do care about providing a quality education for each and every student enrolled there.
