I would not suggest going here, staff seems friendly but fail to explain, either out of ignorance or shady business practices, key aspects of their renter contracts. We went to rent a penske truck for a small move and the associate on duty suggested we rent from Home Depot instead, saying it would be cheaper. At a glance it was so we bought in and went with them. Our move took a little bit longer than anticipated and we went over the 75 minute time limit so we accepted the fact wed be charged for their 4 hour rate, only problem was we got turned away because it was close to closing time. So we settled on dropping the keys in the night box. Morning came and all seemed fine, we got a call from the tool department saying they got the truck received and everything looked good, later however we checked out bank account and saw we were charged for an amount considerably more than their 4 hour rate. Because the truck was not returned and checked in within 4 hours we were charged for an entire day. When we called to dispute the associate then explained in detail why we were charged for an entire day. The problem isnt that we were charged for a whole day when we only used it for 3 hours, the problem is that the associate purposefully selling us a product to save money knowing its potential to be more expensive than originally anticipated without telling us any of the risks or at the very least telling us wed be charged for a full day if not returned by closing. This is bad business and not the way to get returning customers, your money will be better spent at Uhaul Penske, or Lowes.

Customer service is great here. The employees here explain in detail what these tools are used for and how it is suppose to be used.

Dont rent a tool from The home depot. The tiller I got had loose screws and the blades didnt go into the dirt very well. Had to drive all the way back and exchange the tool rented for another one. After getting the second one back home it too did not want to work right. We ended up getting a tiller from tru value in san marcos that worked 10 times better than the ones at the home depot and for half the price.Home depot did give me a partial refund but that came out to the same price as the tiller at the tru value in san marcos.And by the way Lowes gives military personnel and veterans a 10% discount. The home depot does not.
