Picking up my rental was super fast and no hassle. Noticed there was no walk around but Iwas in a hurry. On my way home my rental kept hydroplaning so I pulled over and noticed that there was absolutely no tread on the tires. I brought it to the attention of an associate and he absolutely dismissed me and said he had no control over it! Not even an apology. The same associate was extremely rude to a gentleman whos reservation was not honored. The gentleman was unbelievably restrained and just walked out. I wont be doing business with these folks again. I just hope no one gets hurt in that vehicle because I have a feeling it was rented again without replacing those tires.

I have been here a couple of times. They are almost to laid back. Its doesnt seem like a very professional office. Looks like they just put a desk in a room. If you need a car/Truck they can do the job. Just need to be more professional.

I am a teacher who spent 20 hours getting a bus certification so that I will no longer have to deal with this contracted rental car provider. They are very unreliable and have left me in a lurch due to their mistakes one time too often.

I had an excellent experience with this car rental place. They went above and beyond and were extremely friendly and courteous.They were very flexible with pick up and drop off times- The employee even stayed an over an hour late just to help me. I dont know who the other reviewer dealt with, but Kyle Jones was fantastic.The car itself was excellent as well- clean, well-maintained and ready to go when I needed it. Price was good.I will go out of my way to rent from here in the future. They are really a cut above.

This location doesn’t accept after hours drop offs and has awful temporary hours. What a joke

I needed a car quickly for an unexpected trip out of town. I called Avis/Budget in Kyle and spoke with Joe. He bent over backwards to get me into the rental I needed immediately. I will be returning here for any future rentals. I highly recommend this location!

Ive rented from here twice and it was very simple and quick both times. I will continue to rent cars from here as needed. Conveniently located off the service road on i35

I gave them 1 star because I could not give them a lower score. Paid $40 online to reserve a vehicle at that location. Got there on time only to be told there were no vehicles. My option was to wait an hour or...? They knew they didn’t have vehicles and didn’t contact me to let me know. Complete waste of time. I am now dumber for visiting Avis. Please don’t be dumb like me, go somewhere else.

I have been a long time customer of Enterprise of San Marcos but decided to give Avis a try since they are located closer to home. I have rented twice and was treated well. This is what I expect from a company. Well Done.

We made a reservation online to pick up our vehicle at 6 oclock p.m. Due to Austin traffic, our GPS said we would be approximately 10 minutes late. I called the store, and asked them if they would be willing to stay just a couple minutes late, no more than 10 minutes. The guy who answered the phone was very short, and stated he would not wait for us. This is very unfortunate and quite a pain in the ass, as we made the reservation online to pick up at 6 p.m., and there was no explanation that this Avis location closed exactly at 6 p.m. and would not wait for anyone, should you be late. We were depending on that reservation for our entire weekend, and we arrived at the Avis location at 6:09 pm. I have never seen such a poor example of hospitality in my life, and you can rest assured Avis will never get our return business.

DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE, YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR MONEY OR GET A CAR, their phone transfers to the national line, i kept asking if they were sure there was a car, booked for 2 weeks rental, they locked up over 500 bucks on my credit card to call me and say we dont have a car, they canceled it on their end, i get a email that they are keeping $150 dollars for their cancellation policy, and it will not be refunded for days on the rest, i tried to contact the company but their customer service number of their 150 call numbers all go back to their reservation line. and i really do not want to hear their scripted out of country person say their american name 5 times while they go through their script, Hire US Jobs please, i really rather back a company with american jobs. and workers. Almost cost me my trip to get home for Christmas. will never do business with your company, instead of hiring stars, try investing your money in a rental car system that knows what is in stock and available,

We had a great rental experience. The van we rented only had a few miles on it when we picked it up. We received great customer service.

Was told they dont deal with insurance claim rentals. They are only 2 reasons to need a rental, and this location is not near an airport.

Reserved a car while I had my car dropped off for service at a dealership 15miles away. Dealer drove me to Avis, no cars available despite having a confirmation. Luckily I had the driver wait for me. I had to return to the dealership and take my car out of the shop. Spoke to Brandon, territory manager for Avis. He tried everything to fix this, but I already left Avis and had my car. Only way to redeem this situation is to have a car dropped off when I drop off my car at the shop at a later date. Thats the minimum that should be done. Hate to rate anyone lower, but for now, I cant rate this any higher. A courtesy call from Avis would have avoided a wasted trip and bad experience.

Easy to book, easy to return and customer service was great. Couldnt have asked for more.

I was scheduled to pick up a 12 passenger van on March 11th. I called a month prior and the week prior and spoke to an employee about changing the time for pick up. Both times, the employee said it would be no problem and just to call the morning of. I called right at 9:00 the morning of and had a 5 minute phone call with the people of avis to let them know I would be late to pick up. The woman I spoke to said not to worry, it is comany policy to hold it for 15 hours. I said Are you sure? Is there anything else I have to do, she said no. I went to pick up the van 3 hours after the scheduled pick up time and was notified that they had given away my van and there was nothing they could do for me because I was late. I explained to the man that I called earlier and he explained that because I did not speak to him specifically, he did not have to honor my confirmation.I was left having to pay over $300 more than my original confirmed price of $503 to rent 2 vehicles since our van was given away. I spent from 1:30 PM to 5:00PM trying to get a rental so my family wouldnt have to suffer for Aviss lack of professionalism. My family deserved their Spring Break vacation and Avis took well over $400 of my familys Spring Break budget because they didnt honor their policy. I will never rent from them again.I got a call from the employee March 12 at 8:50 letting me know that they finally had a van available. I told him that wasnt necessary because I had to get 2 cars to get my family moving to keep our reservations and keep from paying additional hotel costs for not showing up. He says to me, All I can say is, Im glad your family is on your trip.The employee did absolutely nothing to try and write his wrong and I am completely disappointed in the service provided. I had to pay an additional $65 to add a second driver since I would now have two cars to drive and 2 cars to fill up while on our road trip.Worst experience ever!

Always reliable and hassle free. This past week was the second time weve used Avis in Kyle and we will continue to do so.

Was charged$180.00 a whole month later from this location . When I called this location and spoke to Kyle he was of little help. Just said there was windshield damage . There was not ! When I returned it he didn’t even come out to look it over . Now a whole mounts later dealing with this ..
