Quick call back, excellent advice for free & a way they could potentially help me if needed, given the parameters of their services. I think it was David I spoke with. Either way, good experience, even if brief & I was unable to use their business.

Weve had David and Travis out to our house multiple times and they have always done great work. They are the only plumbers I will use. Theyve replaced our water heater, installed a sink and garbage disposal, installed a toilet, and installed a dishwasher for us. They are arrive on-time, do a great job, and have reasonable prices. I had a toilet flange issue and called in to make an appointment. I was given the suggestion over the phone of how to fix it myself, which I very much appreciate. I still wanted to have a professional look at it and they were here within the hour. They worked quickly, cleaned up all the mess, and very reasonably priced. Reached out to David early Monday morning about a clogged kitchen sink in a house which I had just purchased and moved into. He responded quickly with a quote and offered to fit me into the schedule that morning. The clog proved to be significantly worse than either of us expected, approximately three feet of hardened grease and garbage disposal debris that had accumulated in a dip in the line about 25 from the trap which he showed me through the camera feed.Despite having to work on it longer than anticipated, he honored the original quote. He even allowed me to watch on his camera feed as he cleared the final bit from the line and pushed it on down into the main feed. The quality of service was excellent and timely, plus they cleaned up after themselves leaving the kitchen almost exactly as they found it, minus the clogged sink.Good service, reasonable price and prompt response. My feedback on Clear and Present Plumbing is long past due. David and his crew worked on my plumbing issues back in September. I had a leak that was not easily detected. Ultimately, it was detected in the foundation.David went over my options and offered the best solution for my case. He also worked with me on filing a claim with my insurance.Due to my work schedule, I had to trust David and crew in my home unsupervised. Could not be happier!!! We will continue to use CPP. We have a 1950s pier and beam house. Sinks and toilet were backing up and draining extremely slow or not at all, all gurgling loudly. Before David, 2 less-savvy plumbers said we had a leak under the house and needed to have all our sewer and water lines replaced, for THOUSANDS of dollars. David came out and took time to listen, think and analyze. Using his camera, he discovered a clog near the street. The City of Austin came and repaired the clog for FREE. Afterwards, David came back to check on things and to investigate the water leak under the house. He found our shower wasnt hooked up and was draining onto the ground under the house. He FIXED it in a couple of hours, adding a well-constructed access point under the house. When others didnt have an answer for the annoying gurgling, David simply added a vent to the sink, which fixed the problem instantly. Everything is working great again, for a fair price. David is smart, he communicates clearly and responds promptly. He and his partner James work together efficiently. David gave us a plan of action that made sense, which he and James executed within a few days. GREAT JOB!

On two occasions I contacted Clear and Present Plumbing for services at my home. One was for the repair of under-sink waste lines for my kitchen sinks and garbage disposer while the other was a much larger and more complex project to install a new natural gas line to my range. Both projects were done to my complete satisfaction. The gas line required opening walls and working in the limited confines of my attic space. The quality of the work was excellent. Permits and inspections were taken care of and the work sites were completely cleaned when the jobs were finished. Prices were reasonable, work was completed as committed, costs were on budget (much less than competitive bids), and all appointments were on time.I highly recommend David Richards from Clear and Present Plumbing. Should I need plumbing services in the future, I will not hesitate reaching out to David. In fact, I will not bother getting competitive bids because it wont be necessary.

Can one have a pleasant plumbing experience? I did when I hired David to find some problems I was having with odor and the installation of 2 new toilets. TMI? He checked vents and used a camera to see if there were any clogs in my drain. He explained what he was doing and why. He fixed the problems and all is working well. I had put up with my plumbing problems for months. I had called one other plumber and after he hadnt come in two weeks, I called David. He came the same day. I found that David has a Master Plumbers license, which is an added bonus. He was awesome! I highly recommend him.

David is a master plumber. Fixed a major problem under slab of house where 2 pipes had come apart causing sewage backup in house. It was a nightmare but David had a crew that dug a tunnel under the house and he not only crawled under and fixed the pipes. He identified some other problems and fixed it all. He charged a more than fair price and he explained the whole process. I was very upset about the mess these pipes had caused but he said I can fix this and he did and exactly what he said. I would never ever use anyone else for any plumbing work but David. Save yourself money and grief and just call David.

I was a little worried hiring someone with little to no reviews but David did a fantastic job! He answered all my questions and gave options for the installation of my water softener. Very professional and knowledgable. He gave advice even before he knew Id hire him. Would definitely recommend him to anyone for any plumbing project.

Way too expensive to have a wax ring put on and sheetrock cut. I was billed 350 dollars for 45 minutes of work. I spoke to the owner after his inspection and he said it could be as high as 350 dollars if they need to do a rebuild of my toilet which is replacing the seals and plastic pieces in the toilet. I didnt have any of that done and I was still billed 350 dollars. I called the owner after getting the bill and asked if it was a mistake. He ended up taking off 100 dollars for a total of 250 dollars for 45 minutes of work. I would not recommend this company to anyone and Id say if you use them make sure you understand what your paying for because I was over billed for work that wasnt performed, nor was it on my invoice.

I had to turn off my water at the curb on friday p.m. due to a bathtub faucet that would not shut off. Called many plumbers and not one would answer their phone.
