Wow! What a great addition to Kyle,a reliable repair place!!!!! Their names says it all. They did a great job, very quick at a reasonable price.

I like and trust Reliable Auto. Engine had a rough idle and asked them to diagnose. They spent a good deal of time and tried moving some wires to isolate the issue. After wires moved engine stopped missing. My car runs great again.

This is a new business and Kyle but they have done pretty decent work for me. A friend recommended and the guys there seem trustworthy. My problem wasnt too complicated it was just the alternator on my Jeep. I kind of suspected that it was the alternator but they confirmed it pretty quickly. My background in shade tree mechanics helped gave me confidence that it wasnt too big of a problem. After I got a lift to them since they were the closest it was a great experience!

I had my guy to take a look at list of issues that my car had that Reliable Auto has found during the oil change. And there was nothing honest about them. All lies trying to make money and nothing else. Dont trust them. Also was informed that the oil change was done poorly.

I am astonished by what I am experiencing with this company. Our vehicle was towed there 9 days ago and every time I call they tell me they are working on it but cannot figure out the problem.I have no issue with them struggling to figure it out but today I called again and was told the exact same thing I was told the last two times I called. So I said that I would like it either resolved or I would need to take the vehicle somewhere else. The man started speaking over me and repeating things that Id already been told twice last week. I told him that this is not acceptable. They need to work on it today and either come up with an answer or tell me they cannot fix it and let me take it somewhere else, but this keeping it for 9 days and giving me the same exact answer about how they tested the fuel (I knew that on day 1) and they keep starting the engine but it stops (I was told that twice last week) is not acceptable. I would like them to work on an answer today.He said, Okay, and slammed the phone down hanging up on me.They dont seem able to even give me an answer about what is wrong with my vehicle and the staff is hostile towards me.Maybe they can only do simple mechanic fixes just fine but if its complicated, buyer beware!

Great Prices, Great Service Advisor and local...you have to inspect what you expect...they try to get competitive prices for repairs on all types of vehicles...I recommend full speed ahead....

Actually really good service with multiple attendees. When I looked it from outside just driving, it looked small, but jnside is huge and spacious. Their decorations are unique with wood tables, wooden furniture. Prices were reasonable, service was professional and done in reasonable time. Highly recommend.

Place opens at 8:00 am, first come first serve got there at 8:15. I was told will be done in a couple hours. 4 hours later finally done. I only had tire rotation and oil change done on a new car. Ridiculous to have to wait that long. I should have gone somewhere else even if it cost more. What a waste of my time.

Brought my vehicle in for several issues check engine/misfire/vacuum leak, Reliable fixed all above issues and my car worked fantastic for a few weeks but unfortunately the engine light came back on along with misfiring. I called ahead and checked when it would be good to bring it in to have it looked at under warranty and if I would have to pay another diag fee, which they said I wouldnt and to bring it by when I got the chance. When I brought it in they looked at my file and said my original repair didnt have the diag fee tied to it and Id need to pay another service fee, which I said I wouldnt pay for because my original receipt showed that I had. They eventually found that I had paid the original service fee but the receptionist was visibly upset and seemed more interested in arguing over little things after mistakenly trying to charge me again for a missing service fee(???). When I was called for an update the following day I declined the repair because it was too expensive and honestly could not afford it, guy just says so were not doing the repair followed by the phone being slammed on the dialer after I declined, another review makes the same comment oddly enough. Took it to another shop and they were able to quickly resolve the issue and I paid a little less than 2/3 of what Reliable wanted me to pay.Everything about this felt unprofessional which was strange to us because weve had nothing but positive experiences at this location up until now, yall have done excellent work for us in the past, the continued defensiveness even after finding my receipt felt very sketchy, we could see it wasnt worth the trouble and we no longer felt confident with our business at this location.

I dont get it They give up a coupon 39 95 where an oil change when I pay My total was 63 dollars 63 daughters I dont get it they put a sale to change your oil for 39 95 I dont get it as because they say a sale I dont think so its just a grab you to go take your oil change the people is good there friendly and they tell you everything but just the sale I did not like in a pair of who pray for an oil change

My experience with this mechanic shop put me back $800 with an undrivable vehicle. My car was towed out of the shop thinking I had abandoned my car and didnt want the vehicle. I was waiting for a quote to have the motor replaced and was told I was contacted multiple times. Due to no response which I never received a call from the mechanic shops main number Im now behind $800 with no running vehicle. So if you want to save money on daily towing costs I would recommend a different mechanic shop that doesnt have your vehicle towed out of the shop. The shop is very nice and clean Tim was very helpful after my car got towed to Quantum which is now charging me close to $1000 just to have it taken back to the shop. Not a very good first-time experience.

I feel comfortable taking my business here. They are professional, efficient, helpful, and fairly priced. If and when you need your car worked on, Id recommend this place.

Everything about the place is fine. I would probably come here again. But OMG when I left, I got in my car, placed my hand on the steering wheel, and then went to turn on my radio... and immediately noticed my hand has black grime all over it 😅 you know how your hands get really dirty and greasy when working on cars. Well this stuff was ALL over the steering wheel so Im like pulling over grabbing the wet wipes I have trying to clean it up and then I notice they smudged it all over the right interior (which is light grey). It was almost comical. Come on guys, be more careful next time!

Warning! Get a 2nd opinion before you get anything fixed. I paid almost $3k to fix my AC. Dealer estimated up to $2k, I should have gone to the dealer.

They were extremely pricey and operate on a 54% profit business.I was able to get the same job done for $600 less at a competitor.That being said the customer service was excellent and they had a friendly staff.Also Id like to point out that they did not even charge me for the vehicle evaluation when I came to pick my vehicle up and their attitudes were excellent. Ruben is a fantastic employee.

Easy to schedule an appointment online. Very friendly staff. Reasonable pricing, and they dont try to sell you on service that you dont need. They make me feel like they value my business. Ive taken 3 vehicles there for various services, and am incredibly satisfied with the results. Thanks yall!

Cant say enough about these guys. Car broke down in Arizona and towed it home. The engine needed replacement and after finding one and giving me a quote that we agreed upon the engine was sold. Found another, same issue. So they found me a remanufactured engine with an outstanding warranty and stuck to their original bid. I cant thank their mechanic James and Manager Shawn for all their efforts in getting me back on the road. Will be going back to them from here on out.

This facility is top -notch. It is refreshing to see an automotive facility operate with this degree of professionalism! I have been in the car business my entire life, as a master tech, then a fixed operations director and finally as an automotive technology instructor, so I have had opportunity to experience a wide variety of establishments. I have recently retired and relocated to the area, so I will be using Reliable anytime the need arises!

This place is a total scam! They will never get any more of our money! My husband and I moved to Kyle last summer and separately took our cars in for oil changes, and what do you know, we both needed our break pads replaced! We werent happy, but believed them (probably shouldnt have) and paid $1600 out of pocket.Fast forward to now, my husbands car heater broke. He brought it in, said hey this is the piece that needs replaced, can you do it? They said yes. Then charged over $500!!! Robbery! $99 for a diagnostic, $200 for labor and $200 for the part. The part costs $17 on Amazon!!I wish we had taken the car somewhere else, but we are both night nurses working Covid... so dont have the luxury to be awake in the daytime to drive all over looking for a good, fair car repairman. They are TAKING ADVANTAGE and STEALING from the citizens of Kyle, however they will never get our business again and we will tell everyone we know to RUN FAR AWAY and ALWAYS get a second opinion.

I came by Reliable Automotive to get my brakes checked. They told me that I needed new rotors and drums which was going to cost me about $850. They told me my rotors were warped and that my drums were worn. My rotors were replaced 2 years ago by my brother in law and not many miles have been put on the vehicle since so I automatically knew they were just trying to take advantage of me thinking I didnt know better, likely because I am a young woman. I went to a different brake specific place and they laughed after looking at my rotors and drums and asked Are you just trying to spend money? They showed me my rotors and drums side by side to brand new ones out of the box and they looked identical except for the brake dust/dirt. I thought I felt something abnormal in my brakes so taking it to Reliable Automotive just up the road on my day off for a free brake inspection was no big deal to me just to be safe. In short, this automotive will take advantage of you if they think you are naive and if I were you Id go elsewhere as well because you can get your brakes checked for free at most places and the services will cost half if not a third of the price by several of their competitors. Calling around isnt hard to find out if you are being over charged so please do it! All in all, I will not be going back here, not even for an oil change. I think Id rather do it myself.

Today was my second time going here for an oil change and the guys there are ALWAYS nice, funny, and they make sure your vehicle needs are taken care of!!! I love this place!!!

Dont try and get an oil change here. They must be understaffed or just incredibly slow at oil changes. Cause everytime I try to go here they say they dont have time for an oil change no matter what time I have tried to go. Pathetic

This place is always busy and now I know why. Ive switched auto shops twice already this year and finally found a great one! I will definitely be back. I needed an oilchange and they were able to work me in. The customer service here was awesome! And I got more service on an oilchange here for half the price I was paying other places. Reliable automotive was extremely life-saving and very helpful not only did they have my non-drivable vehicle towed in less than an hour I was able to pay for the towing in the form of a whole entire Bill including the repairs which was a relief and on top of that they had my vehicle diagnosed in less than an hour and back on the road in less than a day Brian and his crew are all extremely very good at what they do tons of other mechanic shops can take notes highly most definitely recommend this to anyone who doesnt want to get ripped off and wants extremely professional service

Ruben and Tim were really helpful. The inside of the shop was really clean and the wifi was great! The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because it took 5 hours to fix my truck (mostly just waiting to get parts to the shop and then when they got there they didn’t fit).

Took a trailer in for inspection and was told maybe in 3-4 hours. I asked if I could make an appointment and come back, I was told they could not. I have done two oil changes in the last three months and need additional services but will now take my business elsewhere.

UPDATE: I want to thank Bryan, the store manager for taking care of my issue. Im glad to say my vehicle is a lot better now. I will continue to keep an eye on it, but so far so good. I appreciate Bryan for correcting their mistake.On Saturday, December 19th I decided to go to Reliable Automotive for an oil change and a vehicle inspection. Ruben at the front desk was the first person to assist me. When my vehicle was getting inspected, Ruben told me my car wouldnt pass inspection because of a crack on the windshield. When I asked the other gentleman in the front desk about my windshield. He came off very sarcastic and rude. I asked him, what was wrong with my windshield that would cause a failing inspection result. He said that its because of the placement of the crack. I told him that I have had this crack for a while and it had never been brought up as an issue to me on previous vehicle inspections.  He asked where I went before, and I said Firestone. He then tells me in a very sarcastic tone, well you should have taken it there then. All I was trying to do is ask questions and have them properly answered. Then it turns out that the windshield isnt the problem, that my front right tire is. They said the tire was separating and I would have to get it replaced and then my vehicle would pass the inspection. My oil change was done and I received a paper with vehicle comments and recommendations. On Monday morning, I got my front right tire replaced and took it back to Reliable Automotives to be re inspected. I went home and noticed my driveway had 2 fresh large oil spills. I called them, and was told to come back to get the vehicle looked at. When I arrived, I was asked by Ruben if oil was leaking before, I told him there was NO oil leaking from my car before I brought it to them on Saturday for an oil change. I had NO issues with my vehicle until I brought it to this establishment. After inspecting my vehicle, Ruben told me that the oil isnt leaking from anything they touched. They said the oil was coming from somewhere else. And that they probably didnt notice the oil leaking because it was raining on the day  the oil change was done. I know my vehicle wasnt leaking any oil, and youre telling me you cant differentiate water and oil. And pretty much that it wasnt anything they did, and that they werent responsible for the oil leakage. They told me it would be roughly $2,700 to fix the issue. I am upset because I decided to give a local shop my business and instead I walked out with a vehicle that needs repairs. As a female, I lack the mechanical knowledge to defend myself on this issue. I feel that I am being taken advantage of and I walked out of there with my vehicle leaking so much oil. I am extremely upset over the damage they have done to my vehicle and them avoiding any kind of responsibility.

My son’s 2013 Kia Optima died while he was driving home from school last week. I called Reliable Automotive at 525pm (they closed at 530) and spoke with Bryan about what to do (being a worried mama, I wanted my sons car to be somewhere safe). Bryan was so patient with me and didn’t rush me off the phone even though they were fixing to close. We had the car towed to spend the night at their shop. First thing the next morning we checked it in and he helped us the whole way!! Called me later that morning to inform us the engine was locked up and needed to be replaced. However he did some research and found an open recall on that model car’s engine. We had the car towed to the dealership and was informed that it was indeed due to the recall and will be replaced at no cost to us!! I could t be more thankful to Bryan for everything he did for our family and to ease this mama’s worry!! Reliable Automotive have customers for life due to their customer service!! Very honest and trustworthy. I was told what was going on with my car and Scott made sure that the parking break equalizer was readjusted since the prior place over adjusted it and caused my car to drive with half of the parking break engaged for 90 days. I appreciate honesty and clarity and they provided both.

Fast, professional and courteous. Did an alignment on our 2018 4Runner. It was done when they said it would be and it was less than $100. Should the need arise for automotive work again, I’ll be taking our vehicles here.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I got a bad tank of gas last week that fouled the fuel system in my car and lit up the dashboard like a xmas tree. Just killed my old car dead. I called Reliable Automotive and, within 30 mins they came and picked up my car, trucked it to their facility, and immediately began work on it. I was called at 8am, 11am and 4pm with status updates. At 5pm an employee DROVE MY CAR HOME TO ME. Cost was incredibly reasonable. I am literally stunned at the amazing level of service and professionalism with every single person I interacted with.
