These folks are professional, kind, and most importantly... smart. Theyre craftsmen in the truest sense who genuinely enjoy their job. They take pride without being prideful. They also really care about their customers, and understand that working on someones home is unavoidably personal. They respect that. Thats huge. And they get the job done right.A year back we bought a house with a rinky-dink HVAC system that somehow passed inspection, but we quickly learned over the winter it needed a major overhaul (a third party insulation expert straight up told us: I cant fix this, you need to talk with an HVAC company). Dale and his team came in, did an extraordinarily thorough assessment before their bid, and gave us multiple options. We ended up choosing them, and under no pressure at all decided on moving the furnace out of the attic (builder never should have put it there), sealing up majorly leaky ductwork, and relocating a new air handler to an unused linen closet so we wouldnt be bleeding heat up to the roof which had been causing all sorts of trouble.Sounds like major surgery, right? Yet they handled it all with flying colors, as minimal as possible mess, and even seemed to be enjoying the hard work of solving these problems. We were in a real bind. And they found a solution that was equal parts effective, efficient, and straight-up elegant. The geometry alone makes my mind melt (see pic of new system in old towel closet)... And its quiet too.I dont write many reviews of businesses on google. Probably because Ive been let down a lot, and theres enough negativity in the world already. I can also be long winded. And nobody would ever read this far. But I will 100% use Ultimate Heating and Air moving forward, and wholeheartedly recommend them.And if I ever need a kidney transplant, I can only hope the docs are cut from the same cloth as these folks.

I have never used this company and after my driving experience with unit# 130 I will not be using them for anything. Ended up in some road construction with my lane ending so I sped up as to not cut the van off next to me. He also sped up to not let me in. I had no choice but to move over and after that all I got was lots of middle finger and constant honking. Really??? Then he tail gates me to the next stop light and gets beside me stopping next to me and throwing 2 middle fingers at me. After I got back to work I was talking about my experience. My husband then called in. The response he got was in these situations we make the person who did it call and apologize. That was a couple weeks ago have never heard a thing. Hopefully this person is in some kind of anger management classes.

We had some work done on our home after an unexpected issue. Concrete dust everywhere! My kids and I slept in our house and woke up with horrible allergies! Ultimate Heating and Air were so helpful and understanding. They came out right away and cleaned all of our ducts. Within an hour of the technician being here, we noticed a huge difference!! Our AC went out in the late morning and I contacted Ultimate to have someone come out to fix it. It was one of those 100+ days in July. Ron H, our technician, called us soon after calling the office to let us know when he could come out. He stayed in touch and by dinnertime he had replaced the capacitor and we were back in business. Ron was very professional and worked quickly despite his already long day. Ultimate has serviced our HVAC equipment for the last seven years. We have been very pleased with all the techs who have come to our home over this time.

I appreciated the low-pressure sales and practical approach of these guys. They got me the HVAC I wanted not what they wanted to push. More than reasonable to deal with on the particulars. Not as cheap as the independent installers, but for a quality unit installed by certified techs this was the best values out of the 4 quotes I got. Happy with the unit- quite, works well, would recommend.

If I could rate with 0 stars I would! The business owner was not willing to fix the same issue that continued to arise. He stated that one unit going out on a 2 unit building would not cause the 2nd unit to work harder! The company stated they were changing filters that were not being replaced! No accountability or customer service! Not the company they used to be. This rating is a direct reflection on the unprofessional nature of the owner.

Ive had UH&A do annual maintenance for nine years. This week they installed a new furnace & air conditioner. To Chris who provided my bid and was onsite the day the work was done, for the install by Joe and Ernie, and to Chad who oversaw the project, thank you! The highest compliment I can pay is to say I felt you approached my job as if you were working on your own home. I also appreciate the spotless cleanup before you left.

Came out right away and was able to fix my unit sharpish. As well as educate me on why it failed and provided me with some education on proper maintenance to help avoid other possible issues in the future.

A few years ago Ultimate Heating & Air came to my rescue and installed a new a/c system after the original company botched the job (they tried to blame me for the system not working correctly and then after three return visits they realized there was an installation issue). The only reason I hadnt gone with Ultimate Heating & Air to start was because the other company could get the job done sooner...and in the end I should have just waited for Ultimate Heating & Air because when they came to install the a/c unit it was pretty much the same day that they had originally told me they could install the unit.They came to the rescue again a couple weeks ago - my water heater went out over the weekend and they were able to replace it on Monday! I was afraid with everything going on with the pandemic (knowing that appliances can be hard to get) that they wouldnt have or be able to get a water heater but they had them in stock! I appreciate that they were able to get me scheduled for that Monday afternoon so that I wouldnt have to go without hot water for any longer than necessary!

Ultimate Heating is wonderful! Chris came out today and installed a new thermostat. He very patiently walked me through the set up and patiently showed me how to use it. Every technician that has come out to service has been great!! Great company and fantastic personnel. I highly recommend this company to everyone!! Definitely a 5 star company!!!

Very helpful with fixing our duct problems and installed our new furnace which greatly improved our heating system and put two zones in our home which enhanced our environment. In March of 2020, Ultimate Heating and Air removed our old oil furnace and installed a gas furnace and air conditioner. At that time the workers were professional, efficient and cleaned up every time they were involved with the project.During the last week of January Ultimate contacted us about servicing our heating unit. Because we haven’t had any problems and the system was still new to us we were going to decline the service call. It was during the phone call we were convinced we should have our system serviced. An appointment was made for later in the week. Prior to arriving at our house, the technician called to let us know when we should plan on his arrival. He arrived when he said he would and went right to work inspecting our heating unit. He informed us of the adjustments he made, replaced the filter and was finished within a half hour. Not long after he left, we received an email from Ultimate containing the information about what was done by the technician during the service. There was no charge for the service.We have been very pleased with all of the work/service that Ultimate has provided us. We will definitely recommend them to anyone using a gas system or is considering having a gas system installed.

Ultimate did a good job in the install of my new heating and AC system. The installers recommended we use a 4 filter (likely because that is what would fit in our existing Honeywell electrostatic filter housing, saving them the time and cost of installing a new filter housing). As a part of the sales price, they included two 4 filters and a one year maintenance agreement. However, the maintenance agreement only specifies replacement of a 1 or 2 filter. I have had two maintenance visits and in both the service technician said he did not have a 4 filter available and did nothing to provide one, leaving me with the burden of purchasing one. I would have rated them much higher if they had made their maintenance agreement consistent with the installed equipment.October 18, 2020 - I want to update my previous report. I received a phone call from Chris, the salesperson I first worked with at Ultimate, and explained the issue to him. He was very responsive, promising to deliver a 4 filter to my house the next day. The filter was delivered as promised and I have now installed it. Chris also said he would work with the owner to craft a more long term solution to the maintenance agreement. Otherwise, everything Ultimate did was just as they said it would be and in one case even more and did it at a cost that was reasonable and competitive. I am extremely pleased with the work done and the products sold and highly recommend Ultimate for HVAC services.

I struggle with online reviews (so take it with a grain of salt!), and I usually don’t leave “perfect” reviews (because, there’s *always* room to improve, right?)These guys nailed it, though. I can’t think of any way they *could* improve! We solicited four or five different bids to completely replace our heater, our AC, and our thermostats- a total upgrade. As was to be expected, there was a range of prices and personalities... and in every aspect they delivered. They were prompt to respond (from start to finish) to our outreach. They were transparent with their pricing and services. They helped us manage our expectations. They were quick to usher us through the whole process (from initial contact to “job well done”). They were courteous and respectful. And most important? My wife “felt good” about them and their work. Would recommend to anyone, and wouldn’t change a thing about our experience. They even processed a rebate for us- saving us just a little time and annoying headache trying to navigate that! It was those small details that really solidified it all for us.And... I waited to write this review to give their work time to implode or fail. We bought our new AC and heater back in August 2020! Five months later and we’re still tickled with Ultimate Heating & Air’s work!

Our furnace stopped working on a Saturday night w outside temps in the upper teens. Inside it was a “balmy” /s 56 when we woke on Sunday morning. Rob and Ultimate responded and repaired the furnace in short order. We’ve relied on Ultimate for our HVAC services for nearly 20 years. Reliable, responsible, and responsive, and just good people.

The service technician was prompt with maintenance. They noticed a concern with the exhaust pipe, investigated what was going wrong, and even fixed it. Gave us a couple things to look out for as far as maintenance goes and allowed us time to discuss renewing the maintenance contract (final complimentary after purchasing our furnace last year). They were even masked at all times to be extra safe. Awesome work!

Returned home to a non working furnace. Haven’t tried this company before. Called at 8 am and by 10 am they knew what was wrong. They had to run to Boise for parts. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. Recommend ultimate heating and air to everyone. Quick, honest, professional and on time.

Brandon ended up being at our house for over 8 hours cleaning our air ducts, repairing a rusted drain pan and conducting our annual HVAC maintenance. I had multiple companies come out and quote me a new furnace and AC unit and Ultimate Heating and Air were the best for price and a quality product.The gentleman that came out and quoted a new unit did a full inspection, he went down in the crawl space and said I could be set up for dual zones. He also asked if my house had a flood as I had a couple ducts in my crawl space that were sagging.The installers Joe was fantastic as well. They had old units out and new units in and running before the end of day 1, second day they fixed my ducts and installed the flappers for dual zone as well as make all wires look great.Unit passed inspection and works flawless. I would have expected a senior discount, but the service was good.

Im a new homeowner with a new construction house that I just moved in weeks ago. I installed a ecobee thermostat then later noticed that the ecobee keeps on restarting. I called a Ultimate tech to come in and looked at what the problem was. The tech verified that the wiring installation on the ecobee are ok. He then discovered that the furnace is overheating because some of the dampers are close or partially open enough to cause overheating on the furnace to cut off power to the ecobee since the ecobee is power dependent from the furnace therefore making the thermostat reboot every other 10 to 15 mins.Now my thought is that if I havent installed the ecobee then the overheating was never to be discovered until furnace stops working. That couldve caused a bigger problem or shortened the lifespan of my furnace. There was no way for me to tell if the furnace was overheating or not because it was still producing heat and furnace is installed at the attic and also the old thermostat was battery operated so It wasnt losing power.So I got charged with a diagnostic fee of 99 $ for an issue that couldve been prevented by quality check or whatever . I did not argue for the fee because I was so thankful that the issue was fixed and prevented a potential bigger problem and the tech seems to be a very nice guy. So, I am just writing an honest review.
