I went to Aspen Dental as a new patient for a toothache. I was able to schedule and fill out the forms online. I was very impressed with not only the front office staff but the girls in the exam room. I was made to feel at ease by their friendliness and professionalism. They helped ease my absolute fear and anxiety. Dr. Murray was very kind and answered all my questions prior to numbing me. He was very patient and addressed all my concerns and was very reassuring. He made sure I understood what he was doing and what the best plan of care would be for my dental needs. I have never felt comfortable with a dentist but I definitely feel comfortable with Dr. Murray. I will continue to see him and highly recommend Aspen Dental.

This place is awful! They’re only good to you when you’re a new patient. After that, their true colors show. The ONLY good in this place, is Diana and Kaitlyn. The other staff treats you more like a burden, than a patient here. I am definitely going to switch. I’m not the only one I know who has had negative experiences here, either. I shouldn’t be almost in tears every time I leave here Bc of the way I’m made to feel. They claim if you’re in pain, they will get you in right away, but it’s a lie. They talk down to you and make you feel incredibly small. No bedside manner whatsoever.

Everyone was friendly and very professional. I havent had dental work done for about 6 years and I dont have dental insurance. The costs have skyrocketed!!! The did a great job so I feel it was worth it.

Definitely worth every penny for my emergency I had today! The Dr definitely knows his stuff and was very kind. Hands down the best place I’ve been to in my 42 years of life! Will be returning for future visits!

Would rate no stars if I could. Absolute joke. They dont check with your insurance to see if x-rays they are doing are covered. Estimate that I was given that day was zero for everything - and then received a bill.Scheduled appointment for cleaning; which they couldnt do that day - but didnt let me know until after we were there and did x-rays. Says due to being a new patient - so they wanted me to schedule another appointment. Other places you can be a new patient and get your teeth cleaned in the same appointment - and I did somewhere else.My husband wanted a piece of tooth that was coming through removed -- so they did a whole set of x-rays that werent covered either. Why do you need a whole set of x-rays when you have no teeth..... of the one area maybe. He wanted to have his top denture adjusted -- they wanted him to get a whole new set - instead of adjusting the one - his are just over a year old, so new ones wouldnt be covered at all by insurance. We went somewhere else and they were able to adjust them no problem. Its not money coming out of their pocket - so they dont care.WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE.

Staff listened to me and we agreed to the procedure needed to re-apply my tooth crown. this was completed in one visit. I am happy with the outcome.

Started our dental plan at East Indianapolis office (due to online appointment glitch in system). The dentist was great, his office staff was less than competent. Had 2 separate issues regarding billing. Transfered to the Kokomo office, which is 30 minutes from home and records were not sent from Indy office leading to wasted trip/another appointment. I will be calling both offices before next appointment to make sure the staff have done their job...ridiculous. The dentists/hygienists are not the problem, professionalism/training of the front desk staff needs addressed.

Everyone there was nice, it felt like a lifetime that I was there, however that was only due to my extreme pain due to a messed up tooth. I was in and out within an hour and that includes xrays, exam, and tooth extraction they didnt realize was happening today. No longer in pain!

You should never ever come to this place. I scheduled 2 appointments, the first time the system got updated and my appointment didnt get saved, the second time they dont have me scheduled at all. Dr Murray and his team are wonderful. He is a wonderful dentist who is kind and thoughtful toward his patients. I have gotten both of my adult kids to switch to Dr Murray as well and they like him very much as well

1 issue after another! They scheduled me for the wrong type of covid test for my surgery, making me do 2 in 1 day and drive all over the place in a hurry to do it in time for results. The surgery DID NOT go smoothly. Aftercare is by a different dentist than who did the surgery. Surgeon is impossible to schedule with even just to consult. I have exposed bone and stitches hanging out of place but they gave me more pills and told me it will be 2 weeks before the surgeon can see me. They call 30 minutes before they close to tell me they STILL havent figured out how to fax sick leave paperwork back to my job, now 3 weeks late!

The check-in was smooth, the staff friendly. The hygienist and dentist were compassionate and attentive. So glad to be part of the Aspen Dental family.

Everything went great, as great as going to the dentist gets. I was only prepared to get one tooth pulled. Ended up getting four pulled. I was very leary of this establishment d/t some negative reviews. However I found everyone friendly, comforting and non judgmental, which is extremely important to me. I’m going back next week to get some cavaties taken care of. I also appreciated no one tried to sell me “treatment plans” or unneeded work!

Very clean and professional. Dr. Murray was an absolute beast doing my tooth extraction. He was very considerate of my pain level and got the job done in 3 minutes or less. I also had no insurance and it was still affordable. I will definitely be going back for any dental needs that occur.

I just had my introductory consult here ( which was a free visit, a special they are doing for new clients, it included lots of xrays/exam/consult, something that can run into several hundreds of dollars at most other dentist ) Dr. Murray, was down to earth, professional, and thorough, his advice, and treatment plan was perfect, and made me happy on how we were going to proceed, I have A LOT of work to be done, his dental techs, and front office ladies were great too, explained how the financing worked, helped me get approved for a Care Credit card, the wait to be seen is not long at all, in fact they would have been able to fit in a couple of procedures the same day as my consult, but I had plans, so did not have time, I am looking forward to proceeding with treatment here !!!*** edit after 1st treatment day ***I just had my 1st day of procedures, 7 fillings, 2 extractions, Dr. Murray, and his assistant were FANTASTIC, they got all this done quickly, and 100% painlessly, making sure I was comfortable, and numbed up well enough, and did great with extractions, for any of the reviews that said there was pain, or issues with the numbing shots, I can warn you, you should be VERY careful going somewhere else, as I have been to lots of dentist in my life, and there are some who will not numb you AT ALL, or not enough, and do not care about your comfort, even when you are obviously in pain, and/or they are slow, and not good with their work, I will be a forever customer at Aspen with Dr Murray, as long as it is here.

Still a great place to visit if you need a dentist. Ive been a patient for three years and they have always been friendly and great. The dentists and hygienists are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are good and they have no problems working with my insurance. Their prices are affordable even without insurance and will work with you to get the work needed.

Finally got a day off, use online appointment and filled out all forms as well and got early appointment, I spent two hour at office, x-ray, exams, tooth removal and financial responsibility. I forgot to bring home paperwork that I signed, its ok read it first.

I was really impressed by my whole Aspen Dental appointment. I was running a couple minutes behind and called to see if this would be a problem. They were very understanding. I was greeted by two young woman working at the front desk who were professional and polite. Since this was my first appointment they gave me a good work over with lots of x-rays. Then an examination by the dental hygienist to check my gums. Then followed by the dentist who checked over ever tooth. He explained what his concerns were in the order of importance. He also took me over to the computer to show me on the x-rays what he was seeing. Next I met with the finance manager to go over payment options and to make any follow up appointments. I was very impressed with the whole procedure. Great job.

My daughter had a New Pt appointment, a cleaning. I had called our dental Ins to find out what was covered for a routine cleaning, I was told our Ins covers 2 routine cleanings a year. Free fluoride and x-rays until you are 19. My daughter is 15. Aspen dental charged my husband (not knowing I called Ins) 46.00. I called my Ins again and was told that Aspen had called them the day before the appointment and was told the visit would be a no charge. I then called Aspen (the same day)and wanted my money back and was told that they would refund me after it was sent to my Ins. I still have not received my money.

Not going there again the dentist needs to get his licence pulled, you dont hop between patients every 30min. You should do ONE at a time like a normal dentist. Getting 3 teeth pulled should not take 4 hours he only pulled one and broke teeth that were fine and nothing to do with the bad ones. You dont leave blood in someones mouth you dont wait 10 20 min. to put gause in, you do it right after you get done not right before you head out the front door. You should know exactly were to put needles at in someones mouth you dont poke 4 5 6 times a professional gets it on the first shot. When someone is crying screaming in pain your problably doing something wrong, you should listen to your patients you guys are not professionals at all..

I went into the Kokomo, IN office yesterday as I was laid off from work this past week and will be loosing my dental insurance at the end of the month. I was told by the dentist that I would need a deeper cleaning as I have the start of gingivitis and that I have three cavities. When I went to check out, Brandon told me that it would cost close to $500 for the services mostly due to the cleaning. I told him that I couldnt afford that as I already stated that I lost my job due to being laid off. He went to ask the dentist if they could do a regular cleaning and he stated no. So I obviously was pretty upset and left. I told Brandon that I would not be back for the cavities either. To me this was crazy that the dentist could not be human and understand that spending that much money is too much right now that I do not have an income. I have contacted another dentist and will take my mouth elsewhere!

Hygienist didn’t seem happy with my answers to her questions of my dental habits. Flossing habits; toothpaste used; use of manual toothbrush; rejection of fluoride treatment at cleaning...all before even looking at my teeth.Then the hygienist proceeded to dig and scrape deep on my teeth. I experienced unusual amount of teeth & gum pain for 24 hours after cleaning. This is not normal, even with all of the new & different hygienists I’ve had at Aspens Dental. Hopefully, this one will move on to her next location, as her predecessors, and the next one that I have in 6 months will have a bit better bedside manner.

Very good visit. Nervous because I haven’t been to a dentist in over 15 years and they made it so comfortable and explained every step.

It was convenient and I was able to get my check up for free. The only reason I put it at 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had an appointment where they asked me to show up 15 minutes earlier than the appointment time to do the paperwork and I did. Then I had to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to get started on my appointment. Other than that minor issue it was perfect and I would still recommend them.

Called got in quick. They didnt have me down for cleaning like they asked about do when I called but they got my cleaning done asap that day. Lady that did cleaning was fun. She played good music and joked around with me.

I went to Aspen dental because I have an infected tooth and I called around to multiple dentists. I was glad they could get me in same day. I will readily admit I have not been to a dentist in 10+ years and this abscess tooth is something I knew I needed to get taken care of, however, like most people I hate the dentist and I didnt want a large bill. 100% my fault. The dentist appeared more interested in flirting with the office staff than professionalism. His advice was sound, but his tone was condescending and rude when speaking to me. I absolutely do not appreciate being spoken to in such a manner. Aspen sent me away with a proposed bill of almost $500 for extraction. I got a second opinion, who was able to perform the extraction the next day, for only $100. In researching dentists and oral surgeons, NO ONE had anything positive to say about Aspen dental. Its a big box corporate dental office who cares more about profits than people, apparently. When I asked Aspen dental to send over my x-rays from the previous day, they said they werent sure if they could email them so I could drive all the way in to get them (1 hr round trip). Is my bad tooth Aspen dentals fault? No, mine. Did Aspen dental help me? No, not at all. Very poor experience indeed.

They got me in for an emergency right away. The dentist fit me in to pull a tooth that was extremely bothering me. Then the dentist was so kind to call me that evening to follow up and make sure I was doing well. Aspen Dental staff is awesome!

When I make an appointment for a specific time and am then asked to confirm several times, I would expect to be served at my appointment time. I showed up 5 minutes early and still waited 1/2 hour to start services. Not acceptable to me.On the flip-side, services and staff are great.

I don’t know about anyone else, but going to the dentist is no picnic-in-the park, so bedside manners matter to me. They have great bedside manners! They are very welcoming and get the job done timely! I highly recommend them to anyone. Bare in mind they do not do braces. But anything else you might need, they are your people

BEWARE: this office participates in unethical practices. The treatment plan I received here was not appropriate for my needs and I am paying for it now. I had otherwise healthy teeth that quickly deteriorated due to poor execution of veneers. My procedure was rushed and had to be redone to achieve even minimally-acceptable results. I was not advised of an existing dental issue that should have been taken into consideration before performing the procedure. THIS OFFICE IS ONLY OUT TO PAD THEIR WALLETS AT THEIR PATIENTS EXPENSE! Since having my veneers done I have had to have a root canal on one of the teeth, and was told I will soon need a root canal on the other.Additionally, the front office staff has no experience working with insurance billing and is not forthcoming with expenses when quoting. If they say they have checked with your insurance and the procedure is covered, there is a good possibility they are lying to get you to agree to the procedure and you will receive a bill from them later. Again, anything to seal the deal and make a buck. If providing this review helps even one other person, a small victory has been won. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL. I wouldnt trust them to clean a dogs teeth.

I went on Tuesday to get my perment front teeth crowned and they are horrible I cried and have told them they did not do a good job at. Myself and family are very disappointed in there dental service would not recommend to anyone who wants their smile to be done great do not gonthere

They provide the best dentures. They are heat injected instead of cold pored. They also provide a great warranty. They have the best staff as well.

I asked for a recommendation on a product and was given a very detailed response on why the dentist recommended what he did instead of the usual just go with product xyz and no reason why.

My experience at Aspen Dental was not good. I have an abscessed wisdom tooth that is infected and falling apart. It is absolutely the worst tooth pain I have ever experienced and I told them how miserable I was. I cant sleep and even missed a couple days of work because I was unable to focus. I havent had tooth pain in over 10 years but my whole life it was just standard procedure that when I was in so much distress they just naturally gave me an antibiotic to help the swelling and infection and a pain reliever to at least ease the pain to a more comfortable level so that I could at least continue my daily activities. Not this place. All hey were willing to give me was Penicillin and refused to help with the pain at all. So, after all the poking around in my mouth I left there worse off than when I came and had nothing for the severe pain in my mouth. That was 2 days ago and Im still suffering. The swelling went down from the Penicillin but the pain is the same. The soonest I could get in to another Dentist was Monday so I have to wait 3 more days in agony with this bad tooth. I absolutely will not let Aspen pull my tooth. They had no empathy toward how bad I was hurting. Theyll yank my wisdom tooth and send me on my way hurting like hell. Hopefully this place on Monday will give me something to get the my pain at least to a tolerable level and then I will have the tooth extracted. Point is, if you are in severe pain DO NOT go to Aspen Dental. Try somewhere else unless the pain doesnt bother you like it does me. They will not give you any pain medicine to give you relief. Go somewhere else. I suffered for days before I got in to see them and I was expecting them to help me feel better. Now I have to wait 5 more days because they dont care enough. Im miserable and the Orajel doesnt even help anymore. Aspen Dental sucks. Im very unhappy with them.

I have not had any cavities etc so not had any experiences; I have heard people say how much things hurt at dentists offices though. I had an accident and had to go get several things fixed, I was scared to death, I was greeted with kind friendly staff. They helped relax me, then when called back, they were also so friendly and patient. They explained everything, they made sure I was comfortable. Once they did all their test, the dentist came in and was so professional, while being professional he still was able to joke and keep things lighthearted. Then, I was taken to check out, they did an overview of things done and what needed done/what doctor reccomend. What I even really appreciated, they had all the prices of the things I needed, and prices of different ways I could do them ie (have tooth pulled and get a partial, have tooth pulled and get implant, have tooth pulled and leave alone, get root canal). The best, I feel most people stress about, is how many different options they offered to pay for services!!!!!! I am not sure about all the different facilities, but will tell you Aspen Dental in Kokomo Indiana rocks, and even if you dont live close, even hours drive would he worth it to come here!!!!! Thank you for such a delightful and wonderful experience!!

I went to Aspen Dental Yesterday to have tooth checked. My appointment was at 12:45. I waited 45 minutes then went to desk and asked how much longer she had no answer so I waited 20 more minutes. After I went back to see dentist every thing went fine and timely .I noticed a lot of customershad to wait has long as I did and not very happy.

Staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They helped fix a dental issue that i was having, that my former dental office was clueless about. I have been 100% satisfied with their services and would definitely recommend them to others.

The dental care received was great and the staff was very kind and courteous. But the new office policies are very irritating and off-putting. I do not mind paying for the service I am there to receive before I get called back, but being told that I have to pay at least 1/2 of my next scheduled appointment in order to get placed on the schedule, being bombarded as soon as I get home with confirmation requests for the appointment I just paid to make, and further yet, getting left a message that if I did not confirm that I would lose my spot on the schedule that I was forced to pre-pay for in the first place is not a good way to treat patients that show up for their appointments and you have never had payment issues with. The 3-star rating is based upon office policies, not the dental care provided.

First of all, I went to aspen dental because of this google review. I am new to the town so I dont really know what to expect. But of the two times I was there, the staff there were nowhere close to responsive. I spent half of hour each visit to just sit on the chair waiting for the nurse to lead me out. The counter got my name, my address and phone all wrong. I understand that the first time was emergency and they couldnt do anything because it was the case. But the next visit is unacceptable. They just seem not willing to give you any help or advice to help with your teeth unless you start to pay. Secondly, I should have realized it at the first visit. They DIDNT even ask for my past dental history. I had some gum issues before and took a few antibiotics injections as well as deep cleaning. After I told them they didnt even bother to ask for my dental history. And five minutes after I walked into the clinic the doctor started telling me they were wrong about me and I needed completely something else. If this is what you call four and a half star, I have nothing to say then.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Kurt LOSIER at Aspen. I was told that I had many cavities, which I had not had one in my life prior to seeing him. When they were filled I had a couple of them fall out. I had to go back multiple times to have the fillings corrected. I eventually went to a local noncommercial dentist and had the work corrected. Unfortunately many of the fillings we made too deep and now catch food, or they were made with contacts that were too tight or too big. The office did try correct it and reduced the cost to me. But Id rather have paid more and had it done better.

The office staff and doctor were all fantastic with great service.My one complaint is when I called to make an appointment I told that person my daughter had MHS insurance and at the end of the appointment was when I was informed that they did take that insurance and told me it would be $1680 for all that she needed. I would not have wasted everyones time if the person on the phone had made me aware of that.

If you dont have insurance, even if it is an emergency, they wont help you, dont even bother. Had an awful experience. They told me they would help me, because I have a horrible infection, and instead they turned me away because I didnt have all the money up front. If you want to go to a dental place with employees that truely care, dont go to Aspen Dental!!!

Although going to the dentist is not one of my favorite pastimes... this is my second experience with Aspen Dental and it was very professional and actually pleasant. If I need a dentist in the future, this is where I am going.

Two years ago I called for an emergency to get my bottom wisdom teeth taken out. They insisted they do an x-day to look further into my wisdom teeth, so I did. They told me I had 14 cavities and insisted I get them taken care of immediately. They cornered me into making me say yes. I can proudly say that I take good care of my teeth, but when I heard this news, I panicked and agreed. So they used ceramic fillings and the assistant was VERY aggressive when drilling holes for the fillings. The dentist himself was very young and obtuse. Fast forward today and they claimed that insurance didnt cover over $1,000 and they called the debt collectors on me. Thankfully I had the money, but they should have gone after my insurance, not me. My teeth have hurt since the incident, the majority of my fillings have fallen out and one of the fillings that fell out cause one of my molars to chip. My girlfriend whos a prosthodontist encouraged me to write this email, because what Aspen Dental in Kokomo did was wrong, boarderline fraud, and was unethical. A message to the owner, Im half tempted to contact the American Dental Association (ADA) and report your business; however, this review will inform the public of your businesses ethical decisions. You should be ashamed of your establishment and I wish your company wouldnt have ever touched my teeth. Look at my records... you will see... look at your finances... You went after me and not my insurance. Im a man of morals and will not pursue a lawsuit; however, I hope your establishment turns around for the better.
