The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful! Prices may be a little high but she has a wonderful selection! Cute little shop... great place to pick up a gift! She will even plan your plants for your home based on window position and what will be best for you! Go check her out!

Love it. Ive only been here once so far, but its well organized, good selection, healthy plants. Its nice to have somewhere in Knoxville that brings in rare plants, plus they have a huge Thai Constellation. Its not for sale sadly...... but its massive and impressive in person. You cant miss it, its beautiful. 😁

Gorgeous plant store!! 100% recommend if you love plants. There is a beautiful variety of plants here, including some hard to find ones. They are very knowledgeable and helpful when you buy the plant, telling you how to best care for it and repot it!

Finally got the chance to shop at Oglewood Avenue today and I was so impressed! The selection is incredible and the store is laid out so well. Plants are placed by their light needs within the store so you can make an informed decision really easily. The owner is so personable and knowledgeable and you can see the pride she places in her products. So glad to be able to support this local business and to see it thriving! Looking forward to getting more plants from this store in the future!

I love the shop so much that I brought my friends back with me! All the employees I have encountered have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. My happy little plant collection grows a bit each time I visit!

Found out about Oglewood Ave through their Instagram page. I was able to message them and make sure they had string of turtles in stock and they replied almost instantly. This shop is beautiful and the plants are so well cared for. I was so impressed by the customer service when I checked out. She took the time to teach me how the plant will tell me when it’s thirsty, what kind of light was best, and when the last time these plants were watered. And they have a great point system. I can’t wait to come back!!

This place is spectacular . It’s Toys ‘R’ is for indoor plants lovers. I only have a couple of house plants so when I walked in for second I was overwhelmed. . Those feelings subsided instantly, however, because I realized I already knew a lot about these plants because this store is incredibly knowledgeable on their Instagram page. I didn’t even get to see everything because I was on a time crunch but I grabbed a few and headed to the counter where the owner was very kind and gave me all kinds of information about each one specifically. I walked out feeling prepared and not nervous about their future lives with me like I felt when I bought my other house plants. Thank you and I’ll definitely be back!

I am an aspiring plant lady with literally no knowledge of how to keep a house plant alive, so I was a little intimidated walking in but I couldnt have had a better experience. Lorenzo answered all my questions and helped direct me to the plants that were the best fit for a first timer: fairly low-maintenance & difficult to screw up. This place is so friendly & inviting, with everyone (Jade and one other employee whose name I didnt catch) eager to help and lend their expertise and encouragement. Oglewood is such an asset to the Knoxville community.

Stopped in to Oglewood Ave this past weekend for a new plant friend. I had a very specific need for a plant and was with a friend who also needed a plant who lived in an entirely different climate. We both asked Jade what she thought and she pointed us in beautiful directions with exactly what we needed! She was also SO helpful and so quick in discussing a few plant woes that we had at home. The store is beautiful and she is SO welcoming. It was such a delight to shop. Not to mention her beautiful plant goals right in-house! Thank you for everything! Thrilled with my purchase and will be back soon!

I absolutely loved this boutique. Yes I can go to big box stores and other nurseries and find the same plants. However, they dont come with the Instagram messaging feature. LOL I have sent Jade so many messages and questions and pictures of my compass. She is so patient and always so kind. Even when I came in her store with two toddlers, she still spent the time I needed to answer all of my questions and find the plants that were right for my home. Cant wait to return and find somethings else to bring home...

I stopped at Oglewood Ave. for the first time today, and I had a great experience! All the employees are so knowledgeable about every plant and very helpful in answering tour questions. Some of the plants may be a little expensive for some folx, but the price is well worth these beauties and their service even beyond leaving the store.

Oglewood Avenue is the perfect combination of rare plants in a warm and welcoming environment! Jade, the owner, is always very responsive and knowledgeable on anything she has in stock. 10/10 would recommend!

Overpriced and overhyped. The owner is giving discounts to people leaving 5 star reviews. If you are serious about plants, please know you can find the same plants sold here for a quarter of the price at Stanleys or Thress and you can buy the exact same pots sold here for much cheaper at Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, TJMaxx, and more. This store often plants in pots without drainage holes and frequently posts about use leaf shine chemicals on plants; a big no-no if you know anything about plant, even the kind she uses and defends in her response. Save your money and buy from any other local houseplant vendor in town. Contrary to the owners response, other nursery and plant sellers in town also give plenty of plant care tips, and they dont charge $40 for a small golden pothos for it either.
