Best dental pricing around, and I was able to get in the same day!They now have a new patient.I was needing immediate dental care due to an infection. I called nearly a dozen other dentists to get in and be seen. Dental Partners was the only one that could see me within a couple of weeks. I was able to get in the same day! The wait time in the office was only minutes once there. The assistant and dentist saw me quickly, and didnt leave me in the exam room waiting to be seen for hours on end. Due to the infection they were only able to give me an exam, and get me a prescription for the infection. They gave me a referral to an oral surgeon to see once the infection was gone.Lastly, the entire exam, including 3 x-rays, was more than half the cost of what I had expected. I thought I would have to pay a little more than half of the $200 I expected to be charged, But the complete bill was only $90

Hi there! I came in to have a tooth extraction I was VERY terrified and extremely anxious. Doctor Smith was my Dentist for the work I needed done and she was amazing. Patient, kind and she done all she could to ease my nerves. I was pleased at the experience I had although I was loosing a tooth, It wasnt all bad with having her. I highly recommend anyone to this practice, everyone was kind. The overrall experience was well worth the visit. I really appreciate the way Dr. Smith was patient with me, she never made me feel like I was a bother because of my nerves instead she shown empathy and kindness. I went into Dental Partners - South Knoxville to have an emergency crown fixed. I hadnt been to a dentist in the better part of 2 years and have been very self conscious about my teeth and smile. Dr. Smith was phenomenal! Her staff was phenomenal! And she was able to get me all fixed up over multiple appointments. I highly highly recommend! Smiling ear to ear all the time with a beautiful white smile!

The receptionist was very kind and checked on me when she noticed I was stressing before the appointment. The Tech or Assistant who did my x-rays was so very sweet and caring. The doctor was very professional and thorough.

I arrived to office to be told I owe money for my 34 year son. I ask why would I be responsible for my son dental bills. I was told he was on my acct. I inform them that he is 34 and should have his on acct. the reply back was when my son pays the bill he would be removed from my acct.. I don’t understand how you just add someone to another person acct. regardless if they are relative with out consent. needless to say I miss Dr. hazenfield who I went to for over 20 yrs and never had an issue.I will be looking for another dentist.

Years ago, I was a patient here, but I stopped coming because every single visit required I pay additional fees. Every visit. There were fees for routine cleanings that should have been fully covered. I was told it was because I had MetLife. So I went somewhere else. I returned to this office after changing insurance, hoping that having Delta would stop the additional fees that began every visit, but it is going on again. Yesterday, I was told to pay $80 more to cover the procedure from last time. The staff was friendly, but twice had me bite down directly into a porcelain crown without padding when it wasnt placed on my tooth with enough pressure to lock it in. The second time cracked it. I was so disappointed I almost cried. They rushed a replacement and will call me when it comes in, but Im dreading the return to the office to find what else it turns out I owe.Update: I didnt owe anything on the return visit for the replacement. The assistant was so great about getting a good fit for me. Im not totally there, I have a spot that isnt right on the outside of the crown and inhibits my jaw from moving to the side, but its comfortable otherwise, and I am happy.

Appointment was for 8am, waited 30 minutes, was checked in, staff were standing around talking, no one spoke to me, came out to get me, so I just left. Pretty disappointed today and didnt get my teeth cleaned.

On August 25, 2021, I went to Dental Partners to have a painful tooth looked at and to have a cleaning. After the x-rays were looked at by the dentist, I was told the tooth that was hurting could not be saved with a root canal and would have to be extracted. I was given antibiotics for the pain because the dentist would have a hard time numbing a tooth that was painful, that made sense to me. The extraction was scheduled for September 8th. The tooth pain never got any better, in fact it got worse. I had an appointment scheduled for a 2nd cleaning on August 30th and I told the hygienist about the pain. The dentist came in and told me I had two options, I could take a prescription for steroids or be sent to a surgeon for sedation. I was hoping for an option to have the appointment for the extraction moved up on an emergency basis. I was able to find another dentist who could see me the very day. That doctor looked at the x-rays from Dental Partners and could not find a tooth that needed to be extracted. He then x-rayed the tooth himself and still did not see a tooth that couldn’t be saved. He performed a root canal on the tooth and, with the exception, of the rest of that day and into the next morning, I was without pain for the first time in over three weeks. After that initial period, I didn’t even need pain medicine.

Literally the best experience every single time I am in here !! They are all so very sweet. Very comfortable and laid back environment. They explain everything very vividly and make you feel better about any of your worries !! This will be my permanent dentist!! Blessed to be a patient there !! Always satisfied every time I have work done!!

I really do love this Denist the people that work there is very nice all I don’t like is them doing work on your teeth not telling you before they do it that you would owe all this extra money that you don’t have so now I have a half done mouth that I don’t have the money to get fixed make it so bad they could have said something before they drill half of it away

My family and I have been coming to this dentist for quite some time (years). I typically live overseas and I come in to get my cleaning and other services when I am in town and they are typically quick and convenient.I scheduled my bi-annual cleaning online around 2 weeks ago. I received a call from their office to confirm my appointment. I was originally given an appointment of May 19th. I told the woman who made my appointment that I was traveling on May 14th so beyond that date was not going to be possible. As a result, I was called later that week to be informed that I could take the place of a canceled appointment on Monday at 9am . I asked what time I could be finished and I was told that I would be out by 10am. I rearranged my entire work schedule to come on Monday at 9am. I am extremely busy and run several companies internationally.When I came in, I was told at that time that I had a bill for $159 that was attributed to me because my insurance company did not cover tooth colored fillings. First, I was not asked when I received my fillings if I wanted color fillings or not. But that is not my biggest issue. The payment was possible. My biggest issue was what came next. I was told that I could not receive service unless I paid that bill of $159 first.I came to the office with no form of payment. I did not have the leeway in my schedule to run home, get payment and come back. And my schedule is very tight, as I had explained to them. The options that I was given was that I could come back in at 1pm or I could call in my payment, neither of which were possible with my schedule.Not only was I told I could not receive service for a bill of which I had no prior information even though I had multiple conversations with the scheduling staff, the responses that came to me from the staff were also rude and petty. I did not receive one apology. Instead I was made to feel as if I was a delinquent, not a long standing customer. To give some examples of this poor service and treatment:-I mentioned that I felt it unfair that I was not told about this bill ahead of time and I rearranged my entire schedule to make this happen before I traveled and yet Im being turned away. In response to this, the woman at the front desk said, Its not about being turned away, its about paying for the services youve received -- as if I was a delinquent payer.-I said this to her boss as well, and she gave me the options of going home and calling in my payment or coming back in at 1pm. I said in response that I was specifically told that I could be out by 10am because of my schedule, she responded Well you were 10minutes late -- as if that was the reason why I could not receive service. Rather than apologize, she sought to find any way to blame me as a customer for something they did not do correctly.Im writing this review because I was completely appalled not only by the lack of clear communication, but also the rude and inconsiderate treatment. I have shared this story with multiple people and each were also turned off by the lack of customer service. To be honest, as a black woman, it felt quite discriminatory the way in which I was addressed and made to feel as if I was in the wrong and had no right to be angry.This is not the only issue I have had. Bills are sent arbitrarily without explanation. I also had a payment placed in collections, even though I had paid it, which was reported to credit agencies and affected my credit.Even though Ive been a customer for years, I would not recommend Dental Partners to anyone. Some of the staff are lovely people. The dental staff are wonderful. However, their billing and admin department is just too much to work with .

I have had dentures. For 50 years. I needed to replace mine. Never in 50 years has anyone been so thorough to provide such a great set of dentuures. These people are so so vreat. I couldnt get better care anywhere else. These folks ate great.

Im a very nervous type of dental patient. Im also afraid of needles so this makes finding a dentist very challenging. So far in my relationship with dental partners Im happy with what they have provided. When nervous its hard to know what questions to ask so I guess Im in for a lot of writing them down for next visit.

I had high hopes after all of the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience has been everything but that. I was cancelled on my first appointment the same day. They rescheduled me for the next day, no problem. I specifically asked for the exam and cleaning to be done together and when I got the the office they had only rescheduled the exam and told me there was not a hygienist on staff that day and could not complete my cleaning. I had one cavity that needed to be fixed and felt very pressured to schedule that, which comes out of my pocket, before scheduling my cleaning. After explaining to them I would need to do the cleaning first and then the rest in 2 weeks they finally agreed to schedule. My appointment was for today at 2:20 and I received a phone call, AGAIN, at 8:05 this morning cancelling my appointment same day. This time they were unable to schedule me until they opened up a few dates and said someone would call me this evening or tomorrow to reschedule. I asked to come pick up my x-rays and just find someone else and Lynn said that would be no problem to just come in and sign for them. I guess the only way to have a good experience here is if youre an established patient, otherwise they have no regards for your time. Would not recommend to anyone. Ive been going to the same dentist for 28 years and was only changing due to his retirement. SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Always see me on time and the service is first class. Couldnt be happier with the cleanings and work they do. Also, they seem to have their appointments nicely spaced for social distancing, with masks and hand sanitizer and temperature taken at the door.

I needed an emergency extraction but with no dental insurance, wasnt sure where to go. After reading many reviews online, I decided to give this place a try. I can honestly say that Dr Smith is the best dentist I’ve seen in my life & im 43 years old. Although I’m terrified of pain, needles, dentists, etc, she was so patient & told me, step by step, everything she was doing, stopping often to make sure I wasn’t feeling any pain. She was also kind enough to thoroughly explain things to me that no other dentist had ever taken the time to. I would’ve saved thousands of dollars over the last few years if I had known a lot of the things I know now. In my humble opinion, Dr Smith is the perfect combination of personality & professionalism, & I would 100% recommend her to anyone in need of dental services.

I have been going to this location for a few years and I have been a notorious coffee drinker with heavy stains on my teeth but every time I walk out of Dental Partners I look like I have a new set of teeth they do a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. Worst experience ever. I went to this dentist and was told I needed 12 fillings on each side. I got just my right side done before I realized these people were crazy. EVERY SINGLE FILLING FELL OUT. I have since been to two different dentists who have said I dont need any fillings on my left side. Basically, these people drilled into my teeth for no reason. Absolutely do not go here.

Scheduled appointment 6 months ago for after 5 pm because of my work schedule. Received several emails & txts leading up to appointment day & time. Showed up early day of appointment, was told by front desk they tried to call me to reschedule because they are not open after 5.. Told little girl behind counter my phone NEVER rang. But I got email & txts. Broad couldve cared less. She argued with me.Not the first time they forgot my appointment & had to reschedule.Last straw.NEVER GO HERE!!

Always a pleasant experience dealing with the Staff at Dental Partners, South Knoxville. Even though dental visits in general can be somewhat unpleasant, the staff there makes it better than most dental offices Ive dealt with. Very friendly and personable folks, including the doctors.

Compared to my last experience at another dentist, it was wonderful. The Doctor was relaxed, friendly, and understood my issues and fears. Instead of diving into a needed procedure, they talked about it, reassured me about it, and are being sure that they will do it right. I am relieved I found a place that will work for me, given my previous negative experiences.Today I had a tooth extracted. The NO2 was not available, but in the end, I didnt need it. Both docs I have seen were wonderful, gentle, and there was a difference in language with previous dentists. Not here is how bad it is it is let us see how we can help you. That difference is massive.

It was okay. I made an appointment for a toothache, kinda upset because when I made my appointment I stated that I would like full mouth x-rays done, because I haven’t been to the dentist in so long & I just wanted to be aware of what was all going on. When I received a call back confirming the appointment I also told the receptionist that as well. When I got there and asked for full X-rays, the nurse told me “well no let’s just focus on the problem then get to that another day...” okay, whatever. No big deal. Even tho I am paying for what I want to have done and to be looked at...... the whole time the guy seemed like he was in a rush to get me in and get me out.Dr. smith informed me that I needed to have a root canal. She talked to me for about 5 seconds. Very very nice, but not very informative. Again, kinda felt rushed.The blonde college aged girl was talking to me about insurance/billing was more helpful with information regarding the root canal, then the dentist herself. She also really helped explaining the payments, and even explained how I could do 2 sessions rather than having $1600 up front, while the dentist told me the root canal and crown needs to be done the same day. After talking to the young girl, the dentist then told me that was an option.Last thing, my root was infected. I had to ask my dentist for antibiotics to help the infection, then had to ask the people at the desk several times before I left. I also asked for something for the pain, they told me ibuprofen. I explained that I had to take 3 of them each time just to stop the pain. That’s 6 pills a day when they could just prescribe me a higher milligram. But when I asked they were again into big of a hurry, and just kind of pushed me out on my way. I was very frustrated. I also hate dentist. So feeling rushed and like a inconvenience just made it that much more stressful/nerve racking then it already is for me.I do not think this is the worst dentist at all you could go do though. They got me in for a toothache super super quick, if you need quick assistance maybe give it a try. Also may have just been a bad day, my appointment was the day after Christmas after all.

Absolutely horrible. Not sure if all of the positive reviews are for the previous Dr that retired, because this current Dr could not possibly deserve all these positive reviews. The current Dr is from Orange County CALIFORNIA. I typed a long review extolling what an awful experience we had with this group, but really just knowing where she comes from should be enough. Should have known from the “selfie” in the lobby that she used as a professional head shot what was in store. Well let this be a cautionary tale. If your confused, just know that is is NO LONGER Dogwood dental, instead a low rent version of Aspen Dental.

Staff is nice enough but to say the work done there is sub-par would be a bonus. After an extensive amount of work done in late January, as of early August Ive had at least five fillings come out. Like I said the staff is nice enough but I wouldnt trust this office for even a dental cleaning anymore.

By far the best experience at the dentist I have ever had! Not only are they some of the nicest people, but are so empathetic! Being a broke college student with no dental insurance, they went above and beyond to get me the cheapest prices around! Dr. Hunley is so kind and constantly checked on me throughout the procedure to see if I was in any pain (never was as he was so gentle). The other younger man helping him, not sure his name, was also so kind and helpful in my situation. Would recommend 10/10 to come here!

Great attitudes and fast service. I went to see Hazenfield, what a great man, for minor problems going on inside my mouth. He explained everything thoroughly and prescribe medicine (gave me the details on that). Everyone greeted me with a smile . I recommend this establishment to any and everyone.
