Iv been taking my son to Ut pediatric consultants for 3 years now and we have been to the halls, merchants, and Maynardville locations. Most of the staff are great some of the front desk people just have bad attitudes but for the most part everyone else is great. We have seen most of the NPs and MDs and so far Rachel and Dr. Javier are by far the best. We have never waited more then 30 minutes and I rarely wait on hold more then 5 minutes. Dr. Javier really listens to me as my sons mother the person who knows him best which is very hard to find in Drs. As a newborn my son had a very hard time gaining weight and always wanted to be held. Three drs told me I had a low milk supply but after Seeing Dr. Javier the one who actually listened we found out he had a dairy protein allergy and severe acid reflux making it very painful for him to eat. The other 3 drs we saw told me it was me and I needed to feed him formula instead of Breast feed. after changing up my diet I was able to breast feed my son for 15 months and now I have a very tall and healthy 3year old! I noticed a lot of the reviews where about the front desk staff and waiting. The staff at UT pediatric consultants see a lot of patients and are always busy everytime my son has been sick They have gotten him in the same day or following morning and the drs take there time with every visit giving every child and parent the attention they need that’s why it’s sometimes hard to get through and waits can be long I personally have never had this issue but my sister has and she just lets them know she’s been waiting and they have always gotten with them shortly after. I love pediatric consultants and recommend them to everyone.

These people . i made my son an appointment and the day of the appt. They let me drive all the way there just to say my child was no longer a patient there. Why couldnt of that been said over the phone

I love Dr. Rachelle, and so does my kiddo, but Im getting really tired of sitting on hold for a 2 minute phone call for 20+ minutes every time I need to make an appointment. I dont even like calling anymore because no one will pick up. Considering taking my child elsewhere.

I couldnt review this place bad enough. For starters the facilities are quite aged. They dont even try to keep appearances. It reminds me a lot of a government clinic. We went 3 times to Pediatric Consultants. Once in Halls and twice on Merchants. Each time (we had an appointment) we were there for several hours. The best is yet to come. My co pay is $25. They would always want me to wait for billing to send me a bill as their billing department is MSO Pediatric in Nashville. They would send me a bill and Id mail a check. Theyd lose the check and Id send another. Theyd lose the check and Id send another (Through my bank to have proof it was sent.) Finally like any sensible company they turned me into collections even though I could prove they received my checks. I called in and finally got someone to take my credit card number. They said ok Mr. X your account is now paid out and your balance is 0. Guess what......... The next week they cashed all my checks! Then they sent me refund checks leaving my balance at me owing them 25 dollars. I called and paid it again. Guess what I got in the mail just yesterday? A refund for $25. Pretty sure Im never going to be able to cut ties with this PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A CLINIC.

I took my child there for a few years the dr’s are good but you can never get ahold of anyone! We call and call and call and even leave voicemails and they never call back! So I switched my child somewhere else!

This place I would recommend they are really good with kids an take good care of them

Dr. Javier is wonderful with my littles. She really takes the time with my babies and explains everything to my husband and I. She answers my questions completely and is very knowledgeable.

When you call no hours of operation no hours for lunch I dont know why in the world this place would hold 2 hour lunch. No courtesy for patients

I love Pediatric Consultants but some of the staff at the front desk when you check in are just rude, especially the one who sits on the sick side at the halls location shes just rude if she hates her job that much then she doesnt need to be in a pediatric facility with kids

Will never go back there. Waited over an hour and a half. Made an appointment elsewhere. They had upset my wife on a previous occasion as well.
