Lawhorn CPA Group has been around over 40 years and during that time have done many unethical things. The firm continues to lose clients because of their poor quality, unethical behavior and poor value. The clients that have moved away from Lawhorn and sought better quality, professionalism and value are Cook Bros., Busch Beans, and Rand Properties to name a few. Due to how they treat people it has caused a lot of heart ache. Many years ago a disgruntled employee retaliated and caused loss of life at the firm. Think wisely before seeking any assistance from this practice. Ask those at the companies I have mentioned and they will confirm what I have written is true.

I have nothing good to say about the Lawhorn CPA Group. They were hired to handle the bookkeeping and accounting for my corporation, they were also one of our highest monthly expenses. I suspected that the COO of my company was misappropriating company finances for his own personal use and requested our financial records from the Lawhorn group, to my surprise they refused to help me obtain answers and then refused to even communicate with me. Their owner happens to be good friends with the COO and in my opinion intentionally helped his friend hide financial misconduct. If you are looking for a trustworthy and reputable CPA you should keep looking. I ended up losing my business, my income and 6 years of my hard work due to the direct result of doing business with the Lawhorn CPA Group. I hope I save you the heartache.
