We have been using Dennis Hall Auto for many years. Have always been satisfied with the work. They are not a well try this and see if that solves the problem repair service. They diagnose the problem and fix it. Routine maintenance keeps her running.

Alright folks, some could use a smile more, its much needed when working in automotive business. I had asked the gentleman at the front counter, on how much he would it cost to put on a high performance suspension...he pulled out a quote out the air at $780. It sounded like a rip off to me, over priced quote. Went to Mighty Muffler and they did my suspension for me at $220!! They do top of the line work, at a reasonable price!

First time my 2004 Jeep which I drive daily and which has never been touched by any mechanic except me had a symptom which I could not identify. I havent been feeling well so I took a shotThis place came highly recommended by people who know nothing about cars but have come to me asking if that seemed fair to which I said yep.In my mind I thought, motor mounts or transmission mounts (neither cheap) I told them I would pay for a diagnostics in case I didnt have them do it, Russel said no need.While waiting Thad a mechanic there, came over to the Jeep and asked if I would pop the hood. He looked in the engine, then got under it, then worked his way back until I heard clunk I knew what it was immediately U -joint. I wanted to test, he came out said thats the culprit U-joint.Went inside he told Russell, who looked it up and told me how much it would be on the spot. End of story, I picked up my Jeep the next day, runs perfectly, price was what they said it would be and they also gave me a Veterans discount.My family has a local mechanic they can trust.

I cannot express how thankful we are with this automotive repair shop. My wife and I were on our way to the smoky mountains and had a service light come on my ford f150 truck. We were about an hour from Knoxville when she called the Ted Russell Ford dealerships, the girl she talked to said they had no openings until May....this was April 13th! She then called Dennis Hall Auto and spoke to Russell. Russell was absolutely awesome, he thought we might have a power train issue because of the 🔧warning we got, so he suggested we might need the dealership for warranty service. When we told him they put us off, he said bring it to them and they would diagnose. After running diagnostics, they looked a little closer and found a wire disconnected. We initially thought we might be there for days, but they had us in and out in an hour. We appreciate you guys so much!

Were new to Knoxville. I needed a simple oil change, transmission flush, and tire rotation. I went to an unnamed shop in Farragut and came out with a $800+ quote listing a multitude of issues with my car that had no actual problems. I called Dennis Halls upon a recommendation that I saw on NextDoor. He gave me very reasonable quote over the phone and was able to schedule me right away. We have several Hondas and we have had them work on all of them - from a simple oil change, timing belt, and spark plugs, etc. Service is good, pricing is very reasonable, and the waiting area was nice. Glad weve found a good place here in Knoxville!

Always great service and repair for our Honda Odyssey

Ran over some debris on the highway and my low tire pressure light popped on - and noticed there was a bent in my wheel. A coworker who previously worked as a mechanic referred me to Dennis Hall and after reviewing the many 5 star reviews, I reached out. Russell with the shop was very helpful and I was able to drop my car off after hours and pick it up after hours due to my work schedule and fiancés work schedule.Russell called me the morning they were looking at my car and provided me with what needed to be done to keep me safely on the road. I found the shop to be very honest and prices to be very fair.Extremely pleased with the work done and customer service - I have a feeling Dennis Hall will become our go to car maintenance shop. Always excellent service

They have always been able to get me in quickly whenever my car has a problem. I trust them to give me honest input and repair cost about my vehicle. They even gave me a ‘loaner car’ to drive for two days while they fixed my vehicle. Very professional and kind.

They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and did not try to fix things that werent broken, unlike the dealership. When the repair was completed, they showed us what was broken and explained how the figured it out. They even apologized for the cost (which was only HALF if what Toyota of Knoxville was going to charge)! Highly recommend!

I been going to this place for approximately 2 yrs and went from excellent service to very poor. I got my breaks done and they screwed it up. I called and left several messages for them to call me back. I never got a response and I am deeply disappointed in Russell!!! I wont be going back and recommend not going there.🙄

First time customer (12/19) and regret that I havent been going here before. Needed help with an Acura electrical issue. Mr. Hall and team fixed it quickly and advised me on another question I had. The folks are friendly, smart, honest (how rare is that, today?), and more than fair. I definitely will be a repeat customer.

Our daughter scheduled an appointment to have a used vehicle checked at Dennis Halls while she had it out for a test drive. They got the car in and assessed it thoroughly in a timely manner. The waiting area and restroom were nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I would use this establishment again and recommend it to others!

I had heard good things about Dennis Hall auto service and I checked the reviews. I made an appointment for minor issues with my lights. I had expected to be there 30 to 45 minutes. I was surprised when it only took about 20 minutes and the charge was EXTREMELY reasonable. I love this place. Anywhere else I went wanted to charge to hookup to computer etc ... And charge who knows what for repairs. My experience at Dennis Hall was truly amazing.Ill use again if needed.

I have had my cars serviced by Dennis Hall for over 24 years. I was eighteen when I bought my first Honda Accord and they were recommended. They are always helpful and explain all options. Top notch service and informative mechanics. Youd be crazy to go anywhere else!! I was surprised to see Ms. Debbie at the reception desk. She has been with them forever, which is a sign to me that her employer takes care of his people. Check them out!!

They gave me an honest repair quote and explained exactly what the problem was. Everyone was extremely nice and my car is running well. Although they are Honda and Acura specialists, they knew what my Buick needed and were familiar with notorious issues with this engine. Very trustworthy.

This place is amazing. I would give them more than 5 stars if it was possible. Russell is extremely patient and helpful. They even stayed later than regular hours to finish the job. I normally take our 95 Honda but this time I took our Nissan Maxima. They work on more than just Hondas! Their prices were half of the quotes I get from Nissan!. Thank you Dennis Hall Honda!😊

My original review has been removed, due to a resolution with the shop.Since originally posting this review, Ive contacted the shop and was put in touch with the owner. Once I explained the details of the situation, the mechanic responsible was let go for this and other reasons. The owner then immediately agreed to cover the cost of all labor they performed, as well as labor to repair my car locally since I had since moved to Austin, TX. Most shops would do no such thing, especially allowing another shop to repair their work and covering the full cost.Most shops would have not been so generous and helpful with this. I feel that my issues were directly related to the mechanic involved, and I feel very comfortable using this shop again.

Back in South Florida I had a trusted mechanic that I could go to but being in Knox I didnt know any so I went here based on Google reviews. They took care of issue and was 100 less than the Mobile mechanic. Will go back for any car needs.

I would give them a zero if possible. Unbelievably overpriced for a routine service that another shop ended up charging 2/3 less. It was really quite amazing. Whatever price you get from Dennis Halls shop around. No doubt you will find it elsewhere for much, much less.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Facility has a nice, clean, cozy waiting area with a restroom, filtered water dispenser, and TV. They also have a huge stack of Highlights magazines for kids to look through while waiting. I have been bringing my Prius here for a little over a year now and have always received excellent and timely service. My only advice would be to call a few days ahead for an appointment as they are always very busy.

I took my car here for a diagnostic and was quoted 42 dollars. We only wanted the diagnostic and did not approve any thing else. When we picked up the car they charged 50 extra dollars for adjusting the terminals on the battery. Not cool. Wont come back.

We take our Honda there for all services. The staff is very knowledge. They track our history and make recommendations.

These guys have been my go-to mechanics for my family fleet of cars for years. Russell & Debbie are always helpful and respectful. Theyve serviced my hondas, subarus, and now my mazdas. Most of all, theyve earned my trust through honest, accurate work and reasonable prices. They are worth it.

This is the only auto repair shop I trust with my 1998 Honda CRV. It has 310,000 miles on it, and the same mechanic has worked on it since the day I bought it in 1999. When you have something that works, stay with it, be it car or car fixer.

I recently had my transmission replaced by them and could not be happier about my experience. Spending a large amount of money on your car is never pleasant & its alsovery nerve racking, for me anyways, but these guys put my mind right at ease. I never felt uncomfortable and they explained everything perfectly. Their customer service is ON POINT!

Ive been a loyal customer for about 10 years. These guys rock! Always professional and would rather tell you to sell the car than keep putting money into it.They replaced a radiator in my truck less than a year ago. It failed recently and left me stranded about 128 miles from home. I replaced it where I was stranded and when I got back to town they refunded my money before they get reimbursed from their supplier. They took care of me before they were taken care of, now thats customer service.They also provided me with a loner car when the repairs could not be done because parts were not available in a timely fashion.Overall a honest hard working shop.
