After using Otis for multiple years, this year weve been unable to get anyone to come out and do our annual termite inspection. Weve called 5+ times and had two inspections scheduled, but no one ever shows up.I know this pandemic had everything messed up, but this is ridiculous.

My review as changed after having a conversation with the owner’s of the company and going over the issue I do recommend them they are the best and they will found a way to get a hold of you to fix the problem and I’m actually satisfied I have a permanent serviceman now and the also sent someone out to help with the issue named Jack and I really highly recommend to talk to Jack if there is any issue Jack will work with you and work every corner to make you happy and satisfied so my rating is between a 3.5-5.0 but I really recommend if any problems talk to Jack he’ll work with you and try his best to solve anything really

Jack, at Otis Pest Control, was a savior in a disaster week! I cannot thank him or his helpful team enough!I unknowingly moved into a home that had a HUGE bed bug infestation (the house had been vacant for some time and, without hosts, bed bugs become dormant in a way that makes them hard to find during normal closing home inspections). A week into living in my house, I was COVERED with bites. Right before Jack showed up at my door, I went to move my car and also found that it wouldnt start. Needless to say, I was an emotional wreck.Jack was knowledgeable and honest in his assessment of my house/treatment methods, and when he saw how emotionally taxing this experience had been, he made some calls to see if he could move things around to get into the house to heat treat it ASAP.On his way out, he found out my car also just stopped working, and he opened the hood to try to help out there as well. About 15 minutes after he left with a price/date estimate, I was sitting on my porch in an emotional state and I noticed his car drive up again. He brought me food because he knew I was having a rough day!A few days later Otis heat treated my historic home and Jack and his team were just as kind and helpful then, as they sorted through my half-unpacked life and helped my house get into a treatable condition.Because my infestation was YEARS old, and expansive, a few of the bed bugs survived the first treatment. This is a VERY RARE thing, but as soon as I called Jack to tell him, he sent out someone to do a quick chemical spray the same day, then came back and did a whole second heat treatment a few days after that (squeezing me in again)! Jack checked in with a phone call a day after that treatment to make sure they were finally gone (they were!!) and to tell me, Dont you worry, we are on top of this until they are gone, I promise!Thank you Jack and Rocky and the whole Otis team! My home is home again!

(**UPDATE: After writing this review I did contact the company and they did come back and do another treatment free of charge to remedy the nightmare of remaining bugs left from the first treatment. Now its been around 3 months n so far were all clear. My family deeply appreciates the free retreatment that was done to fix the first one that didnt quite get the job done. Now as far as we can tell so far the nightmare and misery seems to have finally ended. Thank you! UPDATE**)My family gave these people $1300 yes thats right $1,300 to do a bed bug thermal heat treatment. We are not well off financially by any means and it took A LOT to come up with that money but having bed bugs IS a living nightmare so we had to do something and heat treatment is supposed to be the best, most effective and guaranteed to work IF DONE PROPERLY treatment. We even threw all our big furniture such as our couches n mattresses out as they were the most infested items. They had us leave for the day and when we came back they were gone and we walked in to find MANY of our appliances, household items, electronics, floor, toys and furniture items damaged which MAY have kind of been worth it if they had at least managed to get rid of the bed bugs but unfortunately within only 2 weeks of giving them all that money, them doing the treatment, trashing our beds n couches and them ruining many items, I found a very unpleasant, unexpected and unwelcome visitor in my bed after getting bitten by something. Yep u guessed it $1300 plus furniture n damages just down the hole cuz we still have bed bugs and this company never came back, never reached out or called or tried to make things right in any way after attempting to contact them on our end. So now were just out all that money and many of our belongings. my little girl and family are just stuck living in a nightmare until we can somehow manage to save up that kind of money again to go with a better company that wont just leave us out of money to fend for ourselves if they dont get rid of them like theyre SUPPOSED to the first time. I just cant imagine that any decent person or company would put a child, a family, or anyone through all this... will update if anything changes.
