This is a very nice place to stay and relax. Theres golfing, a restaurant, a spa and a sports center with a gym and pool area. Theres trails to walk around on and theres a convenience store/liquor store here as well. The condo I got is a one bedroom with a sweeping view of the golf course and the surrounding area. Its amazing and the bird watching is great! Im staying in a Wyndham Worldmark condo which is separate from the other chalets or other accomodations that are offered at the Running Y resort. I would definitely return here again.
Worldmark always offers a quality place to stay and the staff always goes above and beyond on customer service and satisfaction.
Always enjoy WM Running Y. Ive stayed there many times over the years. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Looking forward to the next visit.
This was our first time staying in a chalet. Went with friends. One of our best experiences at Running Y. Plan on returning and staying longer to enjoy the hot tub. Love this resort.
We stay here 1-2 times a year. Great place to bring family and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this place. We love the indoor swimming pool with large windows especially when it is snowing outside.
Several time a year for the past 10 years we have stayed at the Running Y. This time we brought some friends with us who had never been there. This time the Running Y was a huge disappointment. We rented a two bedroom chalet. When we opened the door we were over taken by the smell of Marijuana. When we called the front desk and spoke with Michelle ( who was amazing) she sent Carmen ( who was also amazing) to our unit to spay some Oder eater spray. When Carman walked up to our chalet she said that she could smell it outside of the chalet. When we asked if there was another unit that we could move to we were informed there was not. The smell never did go away.Worldmark has sent out several e-mails and letter stating they they are working on making sure all the units are clean and ready for us. That was not our experience. The top of the refrigerator was layers of dirt on it. The couch has stains on it. The bedsheets has a unidentifiable stain. Outside of the chalet there was piles of insulation in the bushes and on the roof and gutters ( like a rodent is getting onto the chalet). The hot tub lid is falling apart and is extremely water logged and heavy. For a resort that is rated gold crown rated I am very dissatisfied. A motel 6 may have been a better choice.
Many different buildings all packed together. Some Worldmark, many others not. Couldnt easily find my unit late at night. Good size rooms, specially the bathroom. Will be back soon.
Amazing, peaceful place. We went for our anniversary hoping to get out off the smoke from the fires. It was still a little smokey as you can see in the photo, still was probably one of the clearest place in Oregon to be at the time. They have great outdoor seating, good food, yummy drinks. Crater lake National part is an hour drive from running y, must see. I definitely will return. Next time Im bringing my golf clubs!
Rooms were large. Pleasant vacation.
Beautiful. Recommend September visit, but nice in January. Miles of paved paths. Excellent staff and service.
Beautiful location, miles of walking and cycling paths. The city of Klamath Falls is about 10 minutes away by car, its got everything you need to enjoy your stay (except for a Costco, that would really be nice).
Clean large unit. BBQ on the deck overlooking the golf course. Vista views of Klamath Lake.
Would like to say it was special staying in the 3 bedroom casita # 4660. Have been staying in the timeshares since Trendwest. This was the first time we had to share it with rodent(s). Woke up in the morning with the butter we left out to soften for breakfast chewed. Topping it off asked to stay and place the trap(s) instead of going out and enjoying our vacation. Greatly disappointed how the situation was handled.
Extremely poor experience. Checked in, water pressure regulator in wall howling behind bathroom wall. Like an elevator floor alarm, but continuous. Called front desk and they said they would come see what they can do. No one came. An hour later I called again. They offered ear plugs!!!! Still no one came. No offer for a room elsewhere. We made arrangements with another hotel. Only when we demanded our money back did they then offer another room. We obviously left, late in the evening. At best ... disappointed.
Great setting. Plenty of outside stuff to do. Love the resort feel of this one.
Beautiful resort only an hour(ish) away from Crater Lake.
EXCELLENT front des service - LOVE the cow sign for social distancing! Unit very clean and ready to use.
The lodging was lovely, no complaints avoid the Puddy Duck Restaurant.
Beautiful scenery. Loved watching the Eagles. Peaceful get away. Golf available.
Spent two nights and felt spoiled. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and A Taste of India Restaurant food.
Rooms are great, but with covid things are a bit strange. Lot of things closed. But clean and quite.
This was a really nice stay. We stayed in one of the chalets, it was incredible. There was a hot tub on the deck though we didnt get around to using it because it was so hot out. The unit was nicely air-conditioned. The unit easily slept 6 of us, the published capacity of 8 would have been fine. We walked to the fitness center once for the pool, drove the other days. It was a little far uphill for the 4yo to get back. There was a nice landscaped stream that we had fun following. Crater Lake NP was a reasonable day trip and Klamath Falls had a nice Saturday market. There is a golf course at the Running Y with a Putter course. Plenty to do around the area or at the ranch. Overall it was a really great trip.
Cozy village feel to the whole place, almost like being in another town all together. Grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of fun activities for the whole family; bicycles, playground, walking/hiking trails, golf, volleyball, tennis and of course swimming. Staff were beyond helpful and attentive and the market (The Gourmet Peddler) was a great little place to stock up on items not worth driving back into town for. *The resort is 10-15 minutes from town* While there we got to partake in a beer and spirits tasting while enjoying the sounds of a live entertainer; Marty Combs.Unit had a gorgeous view from the dining area overlooking the golf course and hillside. Unit was also well kept and clean. Rooms and bathrooms are much smaller than other Worldmark resorts weve stayed at. We stayed in a 2 bedroom twin, and both rooms shared a wall at one end of the unit. Living space, kitchen and dining are a nice size though.Overall our entire stay was very tranquil and filled with fun. Looking forward to another visit.
Love the location nice accommodation
This place was very beautiful and luxurious so many things to do like golfing, walking, and also spa to relaxe overall this place was very great so many options to choose from and a great view to enjoy with your family members or your love ones.
One of our favorite resort stay. We visit here a couple times a year. We are Worldmark owners. The area is beautiful. Nice golf course nearby. The restaurants are great. The recreation center has an indoor pool, hot tub, day spa, gym and they rent bikes. The units we stay in are well appointed and very nice. Great place for a vacation, in my opinion.
Were owners so the amenities are always familiar. The resort location was incredibly accessible to the areas exceptional outdoor activities. Quiet, cozy, and a wonderful week. Well return to this place.
Wonderful place to stay. We had an awesome time.
My kids and I love this place, especially the pool. Last time we went, it was snowing and we were swimming. Wonderful experience.
We are owners from the Trendwest days and this is our second stay at Running Y. We like the quiet and relaxing environment and I particularly like the 3+ mile path around the place. Lake of the Woods, Crater Lake, and other outdoor activities are not too far away as is a trip into K Falls for groceries. The rooms are nice and the outside is well maintained. We will likely return for a future stay.
Rooms are really nice with a beautiful view. There equipped with the basic essentials for cooking, laundry, deck for barbecuing or taking in the scenery. Nice golf course great for the golfer (We enjoyed it). Room service was prompt when we had a clogged toilet and follow-up phone call checking if the service was done to our satisfaction. Wonderful place to stay. Nice and quiet in a secluded area. Highly recommended it.
Nice place but needs to be developed more.
Everyone was very kind and helpful.
We stayed here just one night on a road trip -- it was only slightly more expensive than the hotel chains in town, and it was SO worth it. I asked for a quiet room, and was put on the top floor where it was indeed nice and quiet. The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean and very nicely done. We also had a relaxing breakfast in the lodge restaurant that was delicious, with excellent service and a beautiful view over the valley. I wish we could have stayed longer. July 2017.
Great place to visit. Friendly staff who help out with everything you can imagine. Great area for walks, golfing, swimming and staying. Room size was great and comfortable. Every need was met. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was organized well with modern appliances. I highly recommend this resort.
Great customer service. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. They have a pool, sauna, hot tub, kiddy pool, play ground, tennis courts, walking trails, 2 restaurants, and a little general store/liquor store. They share the grounds worth running y ranch so there are more things Ava to do through the ranch like horse back riding. We had a 1bedroom with a King bed and Murphy bed it was perfect for us and our 2 boys.
Cool place😎😎😎
A beautiful, relaxing getaway!
One of the best resorts in the entire system. A superior staff and the accommodations were superb. We will be returning for an extended stay.
Absolutely beautiful property. Super clean rooms as always at Worldmark locations. Bike rentals, pool, golf course, ice rink in season with Crater Lake and Lava Beds within an easy drive. We couldnt be happier with our visit!
Nice, if you are a golfer, but otherwise not too exciting! Two on-site restaurants that should be avoided, but that leaves you with a trip to Klamath Falls. We made a day trip to Crater Lake...highly recommend, but checked out on Tuesday for the coast.
We were staying I the two story 3 bedroom units and it was great. The living room is really big, which was great for our big group. Its also nice to be able to have a full kitchen to cook in. Its a great place.
Close to good lakes and national parks. I called ahead and the staff helped me figure out the best places to go for fun. Their facilities were great. Kids loved the pool and park.
Housekeeping forgot lots of cobwebs. Otherwise- nice facility, beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Shops onsite were a nice touch and convenient!
Absolutely fabulous resort, I am not a golf player. It has a view of a golf course with a lake and mountains behind it. Located perfectly to travel over to visit crater lake. We drove about 4 hours each way to the redwood forest in California and back (it took all day to do). I would definitely recommend this resort for location to National parks and resorts. Rooms were in excellent condition, ours had a laundry room and a full kitchen. It was supplied with a natural gas grill on the balcony. Be sure to have a full tank of gas in your rental car if you fly into Medford, fueling stations are not close to the resort.
Running Y Resort is an awesome opportunity for you, your family or even family and friends to get away, whether for a day, a week or longer. A world class resort with awesome facilities, amenities and a staff. Included in these are a fitness center, golf course, a four star restaurant, you cant pick or make a better choice for your weekend get away, vacation or even meeting needs at their conference center. There are plenty of small shop on the grounds or Klamath Falls just a short drive away for any other need you might have. The view as I drove in from Medford was breathtaking with snow covering much of the 4 & 5 story pines on both sides of the road to give a scene as I described it to my wife, right out of a Norman Rockwell painting.Even though Im here on business for two weeks, I couldnt have made a better choice of where to stay and will even consider this for a future vacation destination, even my wife & I live near Louisville KY and are transitioning to Charlotte NC.
We loved Worldmark Running Y. Klamath falls, Oregon. Great views, specious, all the amenities, parking, elevator and stairs. Huge Pool, kids pool, sauna and hot tub. Tennis, basketball courts. Gym, golf, hiking, cute historic towns. So much more.
Love this place! Best pool! Best to go when Ice skating rink is running...
Nice and quiet resort with access to hiking trails. Good amenities on site as well including restaurants, a general store, and a coffee shop. The work out room and pool were exceptionally nice as well.
Great stay. The rooms were clean and the views were perfect. Has all amenities you would need and great course.
Very nice place and very relaxing! Thank you for caring for us and for your awesome donation.
This is a nice place with a good amount of outdoor things to do within 1-2 hours. Check the weather before coming there is still snow around in April.
Been here over 10 times, along with seaside and anaheim my favorite worldmark
What a great condo! Spacious, lovely views, and great location. We we sad to only have one night there. Well be back!
Really nice view and I think it has been remodeled recently. Cool place, but nothing is near by
Property was outstanding, staff friendly, and room was clean upon arrival. However wish the bbq grill didnt have rust on it. Given the chance would be a repeat guest.
There is a full Kitchen with all utensils needed, a mini washer and dryer, wifi (you have to pay for) a BBQ on your balcony, full access to the pool, and play room. Staff are all very friendly. Now the down side. The towels are so rough its like a sos pad. All of them. The walls are very thin. We were on the 2nd floor of 3 you can here other rooms walking/talking/opening and closing everything. When someone walks up.or.down the stairs with anything other then a light foot it shakes your room. Sadly i know there isnt anything they can do about the bad stuff (other then the towels) but its good to know. We visited for 8 days. The walking trails are nice and there was deer seen a lot. We liked the pool table room a lot for rainy days. The store on the corner has about everything. Didnt go to the restaurants but we did enjoy the BBQ on the balcony with a great view of the trees and golf course.
The rooms were clean and spacious, and having a proper kitchen with everything you could need to cook and enjoy a meal was a great perk, but we most enjoyed the indoor pool. It really makes it easy to forget about the cold that can be just outside.
Great resort. The guest service was helpful and curtious. The rooms had great views. The club house attendance were very helpful.
These accommodations are great as usual, and being at this resort location it very relaxing.
This facility is very well designed and maintained and is hosted by courteous staff. That being said, this resort is not for everyone: such as those who enjoy sleep, privacy, and silence. We arrived at the resort after a fourteen drive around 2 pm. Sleeping past 7 am is no easy task unless if equipped with earplugs or chloroform. The walls are paper thin. The contractor of this establishment apparently spared every expense and cut every corner when it came to insulation. The noises carried by neighbors leave very little to the imagination: you are very obviously surrounded by tap-dancing elephants who love to bowl. Every footstep, every scolding of a child, every rotation of a suitcase wheel is amplified upon sleep-deprived ears, and the bedroom door rattles with the sound of a hyperactive drummer boy upon every movement around you. I cant imagine a newlywed couple spending a night without being embarrassed in the morning.I write this review after getting only four hours of sleep and laying here in the resort with no chance of getting any more unless if I choose to checkout and go elsewhere.Upon first arrival in the middle of the night, my wife and I were thrilled with the environment and planned to come back here for our anniversary. But with this terrible experience, we plan to never return again.
Great getaway
Accommodations are nice but it is set up out of town quite a ways. Bring your groceries in with you to save another hour round trip ride to town to get them after check in.There is a pool, recreation center, jacuzzi spas and typical excursions like golf, horseback riding, snow sports and fishing (in season).
We really liked our stay. nice design of the apartments. wet swimming pool. hot sauna. cold outside for winter. ( and it actually snows there). just lovelly.
Clean well kept place close enough to Crater Lake. Great amenities with kitchen and laundry in the suite and a nice balcony for coffee in the morning.
Fantastic facilities and a lot to offer. Our 6 person (max) suite was enormous and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Wonderful time here! Lots to do and see! Great staff as well!
Another reliable Worldmark location! At this one you have a couple extra treats. Ice skating in the winter and horseback riding in the warmer seasons. Big indoor pool, sauna and spa! We will be back!
Great facilities but they couldnt find my reservation in their system, so check-in took about 45 tense minutes. They had space though, so crisis averted.
Close to a number of national parks and things to do. Worldmark accommodations are wonderful
We had a great time! Pool was awesome, condo was perfect
We have always enjoyed a visit here... because it is in late winter or early spring, we have seen snow, been visited by deer and always been comfortable.
Beautiful resort, the golf course is one of the best Ive played in Oregon.
Ive been at this resort on 3 other occasions and I really liked the facility and my kids loved the Chalet that we stayed in and indoor pool.
We had a nice time and they have every thing you need. We loved that they were so close to CRATER LAKE.
Great place to be with family
Good place to spend time when visiting family
One of our favorite places to stay, although we wish there was a grocery store and restaurants closer.
Beautiful location. Friendly staff. They thought of everything.
Clean friendly staff
Its a great place to take the family
Beautiful place to stay!
Everything was quite nice as usual.
Awesome, all the way around.
Excellent Resort with great amenities
Love there places
Wonderful and gorgeous place with friendly people
