I applied for a house to rent and did not hear back. Eventually I contacted them and they told me that I had been accepted and that if I didnt give them the deposit soon they would give the house to someone else. I told them Id overnight them a check if they would email me the paperwork I needed to fill out. They blew me off completely, I sent them emails, called and left voicemails, all with no response. I gave up eventually, until they contacted me out of the blue saying the property had been a dumping ground and there was garbage everywhere and broken down cars that werent supposed to be there and that they had known about this for awhile but that they were trying to get the city to do something about it. (Thanks for not disclosing that in the ad, by the way!)This was followed by them sending me a deposit to hold form that of course stipulated that I would be monetarily liable for any garbage on the property. Frankly, I dont trust them. I contacted another property management company and made more progress in 30 minutes than I did in about a month of dealing with Exclusive. At best theyre unreliable, and I have a feeling that given how little they care about contacting customers you would be screwed if something went wrong with a property you were renting.

Would not recommend, they were nice when we were looking for a place, the experience was much different once the lease was signed, and especially with leaving. Very glad we dont have to deal with this company anymore. I had never had any money held after leaving a lease, while I had been understanding about some of what they took, the majority I felt was excessive.
