An envelope addressed to my wife arrived in a plastic bag labeled We Care. The envelope was completely ripped open and all of its contents were missing. Yeah, you really care USPS. Thanks for nothing. The same day my glasses were out for delivery, didnt arrive. Im sure it will show up at some point but really? Not much of a service if you ask me.
I have had nothing but trouble with the local USPS. When I had a po box they would put my mail in wrong boxs. I would get other peoples mail from other boxs. They would also return my wifes mail back to sender! Then I bought a house. The people that lived here before me have changed the address with the post office repeatedly but they still send their mail to my house! Just about as competent as our current cammander and cheif!
Same address over 4 years and yet the USPD cant seem to get my mail delivered correctly. I have items missing again and labeled damaged by them. But then they say they delivered it on Sunday. Yeah right no footprints in the snow and 5 cameras did not film them? Tired of delivering items placed in my box or even stop them before they leave to take to correct address. Even questioned on of their part timers but cant remember where she delivered that package. I get 4-6 packages a week you would think they would get it right by now! So is my flag flying in the mail mans yard? Strange it was damaged 2 hours into his route. I think there needs to be an investigation of the Klamath Falls Postal Service since I see SO MANY complaints here.
We havent gotten mail in a week. And you dont know how to answer a ringing phone.
I had 4 packages that were derived in my mailbox on the 6th I sent an email letting them know I never got them. After about a week they were found and placed in my mailbox. Thank you I greatly appreciate it.

I went there to pick up a package they left a slip for in my mailbox. It was 3 in the afternoon and all the doors were locked with signs on them that said please use other door. ALL of the doors. Tried calling them. After waiting for someone to pick up the phone it just disconnected the call after 20 rings. Try again. Same results.Now I have a package that has been there since Friday morning and I can’t get in or get anyone on the phone to find out how to get my package.
I sent a card 2 weeks to my 5 year old daughter and it had cash in it. She has not received it. I cant seem to contact anyone at usps on their lame phone system. Why in the heck do we not only pay taxes but pay so much in stamp costs when we cant trust them to deliver.I suspect they are wanting to charge everyone to use priority mail since they cant seem to run a business.

The customer service here is phenomenal! ❤️❤️ I had dropped a letter in the out of town box first thing in the morning, then realized about 3:45pm that I had written down incorrect information on a time sensitive letter. I went down and explained my situation, and the worker went straight back and against all odds, found my letter and let me correct the issue! Life saver! So kind and helpful the staff here is.
I’d go zero stars if it were possible. Have a PO Box here and cannot even get my own packages even after confirmation of delivery from Amazon. We all realize that mail has to be sorted but for those few people that are on a schedule and come in before the sorting process, why not just go in the back and get their package. That’s called “great customer service” — something this Post Office knows little about. You’re treated as a number. Won’t be renewing my box here.
Not very friendly, gave me inaccurate information on my package. Told me my package wasnt there cause I didnt have the post office confirmation number. I gave him the tracking number and he told me that if I didnt have that confirmation number then they didnt have it and insisted my package was on the truck not at the post office. Guess where my package was? Yup, the post office. If we would have listened to him we wouldnt have gotten the package till next week.
I thought they were open until 2pm on Saturday, however they were only open until noon (my mistake for not checking). I needed to buy an envelope and stamps to mail a letter and had just about come to terms with the fact that I will have to return, when the nice postal employee (I think she was Asian; I didnt catch her name) that worked there offered me her personal envelope that she bought to use, as well as a stamp. I repaid and thanked her as she just saved me a trip and the inconvenience of having to come back, even though it was my fault to begin with.It warms my heart to see government employees who actually care about their customers! She went above and beyond!

I have lived in KFalls for 16 years. I have never encountered the kind of delivery issues of my mail and packages (at the address where I currently live) that I have encountered with this local Post Office. Principally, they deliver my packages to wrong addresses (I also receive other recipients packages), and they leave my packages on my steps in front of my house (so that passersby can enjoy a nice stealing spree). I have talked to MULTIPLE personnel at the local office as well as at the 800 number (over the years): Postmasters, counter personnel, extremely rude personnel who answer the phone (when you can actually get someone to pick up the phone!), personnel at the 800 number, etc., etc.... To alleviate their delivery issues, I have posted a metal sign outside my enclosed porch instructing carriers to place packages inside the porch. Sometimes they followed the instructions, sometimes not. Suffice it to say, many of my packages have gone missing. The dollar amount lost on the non-receipt of these packages adds up. Where is my recourse? I have filed online complaints-no response, I have made multiple requests at the local post office to instruct the carrier to place my packages inside my porch, and most recently I requested that packages be held at the post office if I was not home to receive them personally (it seems to be too difficult to open the front door on my porch and leave the package inside despite the fact that UPS and FedEx do it all the time). These instructions seem to perplex the U.S. Postal Service also, as I was recently HOME for the delivery of a package. Did they leave it for me? No, they took it back to the Post Office. Who will refund me for the loss of these packages, certainly not the U.S. Post Office. The essential message of their responses (or lack thereof) can be interpreted as Youre screwed lady! Better luck next time. Too bad, but it just isnt our problem! We cant help you, tracking states it was delivered! I agree with a previous reviewer, perhaps it is time for the U.S. Post Office to close up shop. If I could have left a (0) in the review I would have-too many years of a constant, ongoing issues and problems.

Thay are doing thare best, if you go in knowing that you will most likely spend 20-30 minutes for complex things youll find you will have a better experience with them
I had just moved to Klamath Falls. I wasn’t getting my mail and so I went into the post office just to make sure I had the right box number. The employee who first helped me was nice but this issue was over his head, so he called the manager. The manager came out and was nothing but abrasive. I just had a few questions but she acted like I came in extremely mad. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her. When it was all said and done we didn’t have the right box number. If she would have just listened to my question she probably would have been able to solve my problem. Terrible management I feel bad for the staff that has to work under her.

Id give zero stars if I could. Extremely rude customer service and gives poor information on getting a passport. We waited over a half hour when the passport section is supposedly open and no one is there waiting. I would highly recommend not to deal with Rhonda. Her information is wrong, tho she supposedly called. She gets loud and obnoxious to embarrass you. Definitely lost my business.
Put something important in my mail box put my little flag up at 9 am, no mail trucks on our street all day, then by 8 pm 2 trucks were double teaming a street down from mine. So here I am 24 hours later and my mail still hasnt been picked up. . .hmmm something is not right with that!!! Get it together!
The post office is more worried about making money without caring about their customer satisfaction. It definitely shows that it is a government run organization. They dont care about their local residents or how it could be better ran to optimize service. Because of the lack of compassion for the community (rather than the all mighty dollar) I will do my best to not utilize the postal service in any way possible.
Says my package was delivered but its no where to be found, they also jammed the lock on my po box.
Update: Ive lived here for about 5 years and nothing has change. I have gone and complained not only about outgoing mail not being picked up, but also about continually receiving the wrong mail. On one day I received mail for 5 different people. I want to support mail carriers but the ones who work my street make it difficult to do so. Klamath Falls has to have the worse mail carriers Ive ever had in my 40+ years of living outside my parents home.In the two years I have lived here, there have been multiple times when the mail carrier did not bother to pick up my mail. The last time mail sat waiting to be picked up for two days before I called to complain. Multiple times I receive the neighbors mail. The other day I received a letter addressed to a house thats not even on my block, or street. I have never lived in a city or town with mail carriers this bad. I understand they deal with a lot of mail, but how difficult is it to double check the address, or to turn their head to see if there mail that needs to be picked up?
Limited office hours but the staff is always friendly and efficient. Sometimes the wait takes a while,but how can you gauge when everyone will be coming in for complicated service orders? You cant. Sometimes the managers or people behind the scenes take a while for change orders for the front desk staff and that can hold the line up. But otherwise I have zero complaints. They always work with me the few times Ive had boxes delivered with limited info on if it was there or not. I was called same day apologetically for a mix up.
The post office employees inside that work at the counter, I have not had a problem with while I was waiting for mail to come via General Delivery. However, once I moved into an apartment, my packages that get sent to me, do not seem to ever get delivered. They end up sitting someplace with no updates and no one can help me locate them or get them delivered.These are tracked packages sent by the Veterans Hospital, that have medications I NEED in them. Both packages have come to Klamath Falls, and been listed as sorted and out for the day, although I know now that it is just an automated scan, but does not mean it is actually on the truck for delivery. So far, one package has had no updates in almost 5 days, and the other for the last 3 days...Im hoping and praying that they finally arrive at my home or something happens to help me or that the Postal investigation can locate them and tell me where they are and when they will arrive. It is ridiculous.*** UPDATED (11-28-2018): I thought I should do an update to my review, because I did feel I could raise my star rating from the initial 2 stars to my current 4 stars.My reasoning is because first off I discovered that when where you live has a regular Mailman, that is part of a full regular route, and you no longer live on what is called a half-route (4 hour route), it makes a huge difference.We now have a Mail Carrier that makes deliveries in my neighborhood that is not only competent, but very kind and caring towards those who live on his route, he goes the extra mile to make sure your mail is delivered accurately. When I have delivery issues, it is because of issues, that are typically above even the local post office level.A loss of a Star, is for things like I dont receive notices of any new mail in my PO Box, as I should through the Informed Delivery service. But I dont think that is controlled 100% here locally either.
Worst service weve ever received from a post office. We are a mail-order business and our postal worker has repeatedly missed pickups, failed to send a substitute while on vacation, and even WALKED OUT with packages labeled and ready for pickup. How are we supposed to conduct our business if the post office cant properly conduct theirs?
Perhaps I have always dealt with the rookies but, I have never walked away from one of their employees feeling like they knew what they were doing or talking about. I have been waiting for them to deliver a package since last week and cant reach the location by phone. This is a small community compared to what Im used to and I expected the service to be better. Its the worst PO I have felt with ever.
The three ladies up front are all very helpful! Very respectful and awesome! Got me my passport in only a weeks time! Definitely recommend :)
Ive been trying to call the post office for over half an hour and all it does is ring. I know they are open. If you cant answer the phones either have someone who is just for the phone OR dont have one. Simple as that. Very frustrating on that when I need to talk to someone and cant make it to the office. ANSWER THE DAM PHONE!
Great service here and super friendly people. Very short waiting time. You can even get passport applications here. If youre going to use Express Mail or Priority, youll need to fill out the forms before you wait in line and go to the counter. Otherwise you waste other peoples time.
Terrible. Giving me a constant loop of the run around. I have gone weeks without getting mail because they refuse to give keys that work. When the guy said that he changed them, that was a flat out lie. The new keys didn’t work either. Terrible, lying, and it took over three weeks and counting. Don’t call customer service or email them, either. Neither option works on business days or otherwise.
So many lost package I cannot count! There is a thief that works at this location DO NOT feel comfortable dropping off your mail or packages here even if you put them in the drop box!
Extremely rude customer service! I called because there carrier left the backs of all of our mail boxes open in our trailer park. And all I got was a extremely annoyed women saying over and over we already have someone coming out. Well if anything of mine was taken they will be hearing more from me. This review started at 4 stars two years ago. The staff at this post office is about the same as most USPS offices that I have used through the US. The staff has been good about answering my questions and has always been friendly to me. I do have a huge problem with what happens beyond the counter. I sent a registered letter from this location to a law office in Klamath Falls, but it somehow ended up in Texas and delivered 30 days later. A package that I sent was destroyed through the mail system and arrived with contents missing. Most recently I tracked a package to Medford where it was lost. Packages and letters that I am confident as sent to me have not arrived.
We had my Dad’s mail forwarded to our address when he went in for surgery and then a period of recovery. We received a confirmation of the forwarding and a few pieces were forwarded, but the bulk was not. This included notices from two stock companies that my Dad’s account had been declared inactive and if he didn’t respond by a certain date the stocks would be turned over to the state. Just by chance we were at his place and discovered the mail with only a few days left.

Waited in line for a half hour, got a flat rate box, and was told to go on line to print shipping slip. There is not a single thing on the site that says anything about the flat rate option. Spent a half hour trying to get it done with no luck. Called customer service and the expected wait time was an hour and fifteen minutes.

They are COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. Only use them out sheer necessity. For the last 20 years theyve misplaced my mail, my fathers and his business mail. I also have had tons of other peoples mail from their po box mixed with mine. It literally happens each week. Its been reported repeatedly and to no avail. Stick around a while and youll hear locals complain about this on a regular basis

Why do I need to talk to a 1800 number. Its incredible inconvenient to find out anything with out taking time to go down and talk to someone. We live in a small town I should not have to wait on hold for a hour to ask about mail. You should have a line for the post office not a line for all 50 states.
Amazing!! Had an order that I bought online ship to the wrong address. No fault of this USPS at all!! actually I thought it was the post offices mistake, so I headed to the post office the next business day once delivery status was changed and no package received. To my surprise, the supervisor helped and also informed me that the distributors of said product had sent it to the wrong address. Instead of putting the correct number of my address on the shipping label, it somehow got changed after order was placed. So it was the companies mistake and not the USPS so the company sent out a new package free of charge. So I am very impressed with the satisfaction, courtesy and clarification I received in my trip to this post office.
Terrible customer service on more than one occasion. I get the feeling they have the its not in my job description attitude and that is never good for the customer. The other day I was dropping a box (prepaid labeled, ready to go, just need to leave it at the counter). The guy was at the door letting people out as it was closing time and customers were still in line inside. He opened the door to tell me to drop the box in the drop bin, rather than taking it out of my hands right there. Really?? Thats just lazy.
Every time I have gotten a package it has sat on my porch the entire day or overnight because the postal person cant take a second to ring the doorbell or knock on the door before they leave. Im not asking them to wait, just alert someone that there is something at the door, if someone happens to be home. In all the places I have ever lived, the delivery person, regardless of the company, has either knocked on the door or rang the door bell. I do not use my front door and delivery times on items are always different. No, not all people track their packages or have the ability to.
I moved to Klamath Falls from Medford about a month ago, and as far as Im concerned, the service here is stellar in comparison. Staff were much more pleasant and knowledgeable and I was in and out relatively quickly.
If you know how to get through things quickly, its not too bad.
Lived in Klamath Falls a good chunk of my life and postal workers never fail to be rude to everyone. Anyone who left a positive review is likely a friend of someone that works there or paid to write it.

WORST post office EVER. They dont open at 8 a.m or even 9 a.m.! RIDICULOUS. Theyre lines are forever long and they only have one person working them. And they NEVER answer the phone- how is someone supposed to make an appointment for passports?!?
We got great service from a very nice postal worker. She helped us mail postcards and even suggested a few places to visit in town.

Ive been waiting on a tracked package i have been waiting for 4 hours. it said out for delivery. i have been within 15 feet of the door the whole time. i checked my tracking again. and it says my mail box was blocked. and they left a note. no note and my box is not blocked. and people have been in and out my door for the last 30 min strait but the tracking says they tried 15 min ago. lier mail man was just covering his fn ass because he was behind. and he waited till it was too late to call to update the tracking

I am tracking a package from Amazon and it said Out for Delivery from this location at 9AM today. Expected delivery by 8PM today. Its now almost 9PM with no sign of a package, and it still says Out for Delivery. I live 12 miles from this location and its been over 12 hours and I dont think the truck is still out delivering packages tonight. Reading the other reviews of this location Im worried my package is now lost, and I have about 15 other things supposed to come through this location to me in the next month and Im wondering if Im going to get the items I paid for.
Made a passport appointment almost 3 weeks in advance, got reminder emails, show up early and wait, passport clerk is on vacation.

Just because they say they are open until 8pm doesnt mean they are. The PO Box room is open until 8pm but the service desk closes at 5pm. Yet another trip to the post office for no reason. The only reason I needed to go there was because they decided they couldnt leave the package on my door or put it in the HUGE PO box I have on my street.
Just moved here only time are package has ever been lost, will be changing the review depending on how it is handled
