These folks are total professionals that really know their stuff. They told me the weak parts and likely discoveries before they ever opened up my transmission. They stuck to their original estimate which is truly remarkable. They tested everything thoroughly before removing it for rebuild to not get tripped up by secondary problems. On completion they forgot some minor parts and fluids and just waived them. Then I brought it back at 500 miles for checking. They noted that some wiring under the dash looked suspicious so the removed it, rewired it, and then found a slightly faulty speed sensor. They discovered a bent wire in the connection that did not make good contact all the time. They replaced it and I was so appreciative that they did such a thorough job to eliminate any future problems.Really awesome service from a master mechanic and his very knowledgeable wife. They have a few apprentice mechanics working for them and they are are very fortunate to be under such expert tutelage. You cannot go wrong bringing you transmission to Aamco Klamath Falls. I used to be a race mechanic but I am not experience ed with auto transmissions. Glad I found some true expertise.
Very knowledgeable about the problem I was having on my 1994 Chevrolet which is hard to find on that older of a truck
Just made an appt have not been there yet
Amazingly nice folks! Great mechanics taking care of my vehicle I appreciate the peace of mind they gave with warranty & all
May 2020 ..... I would highly recommend AAMCO Services (Sandy and Andy). While Andy was working on my 2000 Volvo V70 AWD, we discovered that Volvo no longer made the parts necessary to repair my transmission. It took several weeks for Andy to get the necessary parts, and during that time my car tied up their lift and they never complained. Throughout the lengthy time period they were always courteous and pleasant to work with, keeping me informed of where we were with the repair. Andy could have put the transmission back together with only front wheel drive, however, he choose to continue to try and locate a good used transmission which he felt he would repair with the AWD. After calling literally all over the country, Andy eventually did find one that he repaired and installed, one which he could give a fair and reasonable warranty (going above and beyond). I had offered to pay additional money for a rebuilt torque converter, however, Andy had included this in the original quote and stood by that quote.Again, I would highly recommend them and their service. They are not only fair and honest in their billing, but also very pleasant to work with.
Good job and work

I rebuilt my own np246 transfer case, I didnt have the tool to set the clutch pack depth. Aamco set them for a great price and even cleaned up the clutch barrel for me. Great service.

I called to inquire about having my door panel fixed and the woman cut me off mid sentance and aggressivly told me, we dont do body work here! You have to call an auto shop! I was so shocked all i could do was thank her for the information and hang up! Lost my business for good!!!! Yikes!!!
Family owned and operated professional business. Very honest and up front with their service.
No one in the basin knows transmissions like Andy and Sandy. They get the job done right.
Best place in Klamath for transmission work.
I could never trust a shop that says the customer cant buy the parts and remember transmissions are not simple but do a little research and you will find there is no magic to it
Great mechanics fast service
