IN RESPONSE TO AUSTEN AWAKE... SOME PHOTOS FOR YOUYOUR ENGINE HAD BARELY ANY OIL IN IT WHEN YOU BROUGHT IT IN WITH ENGINE NOISE, NOT BECAUSE OF AN OIL LEAK. The oil had not been replaced for over 25,000 miles. The engine had already been damaged by this before bringing it to us. We put oil in it and replaced the oil filter (which is all that could be done at this point).Im sorry you felt disrespected but no one lied to you ( As shown in the invoice that was given to you when you picked up the vehicle).

So glad I found Mikes shop. Been going here for the last couple of years and always find them to be honest and reasonable and very fair costs. We have been bringing our older cars (12 and 20 years old) here for routine maintenance and repairs and have never had an issue.

You will always receive a thorough explanation of the issue at hand and a reasonable/fair cost for the fix (when comparing to other similar jobs Ive had quoted/done by other area shops in the past). I go here for all automotive work. Although they do not service tires, they provided a recommendation for a local tire shop and that ended up being a great place as well. Good guy dude a grate job

Went here for a state inspection for my car recently and they were really fast (should have been its a 2017). They were also really good about scheduling an appointment since my phone kept cutting out so they actually called me back.Edit: removed a star. called twice to ask for them to inspect my car after curbing it, they never got back to me.

New to the area so I shopped around, in Portsmouth and Kittery, and got a few estimates for my Volkswagen. I wasnt totally happy with what I was hearing so I started to ask around and everyone suggested Higgins. SOOO happy they did and I found Higgins auto. They did an amazing job for a quarter of the price AND time. Definitely going to be my go to place now!

Came in with my car making a noise ask them to check it out and tell me what was wrong with that didnt oil change told me it was fine to go four days later I break down on my way to my fiances familys house on Christmas had to have it towed back to the shop for them to say well what do you expect us to do its not our problem you should have never did an oil change in a car that has a leak you should have checked it out and fix the leak and told me what I should do when it came to my engine ticking used to be my favorite place to go now I just find them beyond disrespectful and lied straight to my face
