My Brother & his wife are relocating from KissimmeeFL to FloydVA, and requested my help, which I absolutely wanted to do. After following CDC/local COVID19 pandemic crisis restrictions to stay socially distant/mask wearing/hand washing since 16MAR2020, and the generally loosening of guidelines nationwide (USA), it was excellent to be able to literally “get out of town” on a working holiday.EVERYONE anywhere around the World who is “relocating” often will do so independently, regardless if biketouring/travelling/shifting to dorm life/getting a sea bag at Great Lakes/major new homesite/etc., one can get assistance from family/friends. But the real help comes from having a (motor)vehicle to transport household goods (IF warranted), and this U-Haul was the very best source. I highly recommend this fine institution to anybody interested in /needing to relocate, regardless if across town, across the USA, or around the World! This U-Haul definitely has my coveted “iWheel of Approval!”

The person on the phone was extremely rude. I was calling to verify me reservation and ask a few questions and she just kept saying that she had to get off the phone to help someone. Clearly I am a customer and I have to be helped just like everyone else.I don’t understand why people have to be so rude when their job is clearly to help people

Always friendly. Reasonable prices. The only uhaul in the area I will visit. Have used them 4 or 5 times in the last 8 years. Highly recommended. Just careful in the lot because it needs some serious repaving and repairs done.

No surprise fees when truck was returned. It was smooth, quick and easy.

They gave us a truck that was really dirty it smelled bad and had dog hair everywhere. Then the guys there didnt know how to get the car on the dolly. So we had to go to two didnt U-Haul places to get the car on but it all worked out in the end.

The RVS are ready nice.

Called at approximately 7:30 am 7/12/2019 to check on inventory of 26’ truck. I actually made the mistake of asking the man that answered how he was doing. He then mentioned he had several trucks in the size that I needed. Upon my arrival there are several people outside and one person inside waiting for rentals. I proceed back outside after I hear my girlfriends car horn. One of the employees is trying to force his way through with a truck in a very cramped parking lot and then tells me he refuses to rent to me based on him being able to evidently read lips and says that my girlfriend was cussing at him. Mind you, even if that was true, this would have been his only interaction with her as I was the one renting the truck. I easily obliged him at least 3 times after him trying to explain his ability to read lips even though I was already half way in the vehicle on the way to another facility that was about 3 minutes away. At this location(608 West Vine Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741) I was handled by the fantastic couple that runs the facility. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend the 608 West Vine location if you want to deal with people that care for your business.Respectfully,Tom Younger

Theres a guy who works here (cant remember his name, but I hope to return to be able to get his name and write it in) who should be manager. Hes quick, attentive, and most of all able to multitask! Ive rented vehicles from him several times already, and this last time I purchased some boxes. He speedily got me what I needed and even brought them to my car for me. Excellent service, at least with this particular employee.

I insured my nephew to drive the vehicle, paid the location for the insurance. Found out after trip that if he had an accident I would not have been covered. We were lucky nothing happened. Make sure they are clear about any insurance, otherwise you waste your money.

They need to fix their entrance. Its full of potholes.

The service was upsetting, it took me 45 minutes in a line of 3 people to get my trailer, the front desk person stated that the system was failing. After receiving confirmation on the trailer I was picking up I was told someone was going to meet me outside to help me connect it. As I waited for 15 minutes I approach one of the workers and they told me he will check on it. He gets on the radio in discussion with the person in the front and they are going back and forth on who will help me. He then stopped what he was doing and went to assist me and I was on my way. I spent over an hour trying to get a trailer that connects in less then 3 minutes. When I got to Atlanta and turned in the trailer I noticed they added some insurance that I did not request. The front desk person asked if I wanted insurance on it and I said no. He still added it, it was taken care of but had to do a lot of back and forth.

I have always use U-haul and my past experiences have always went good. I decided to make a reservation on a small van or pick up truck . I call almost a week in advance, I was told the Van was not available and will not be available. So I decided to go with the Pick up truck. Fast forward to the day I actually picked up the vehicle, I waited almost an hour to check in, even though they was about 3 or 4 employees present. I arrived early before my pick up time, I was then told I could not use cash, but only credit card, which I found very odd, because I have use cash in the past . Fast forward to drop off day, I was charged a extra day on my credit card even though I drop off on time. I then decided to check my bank statements and to my amazed eyes I was charged double on pick up day. Then charge 3 other times of a $129. I have contacted the CS a few times and also the CEO. Moral if the story be very careful, and check your bank statement. Im hoping this will get resolved. I enjoy using uhaul. But I will never again use this shady location. Didnt like the quality of service. Messed up the contract I had put in, rented me a towing trolly that was already in use. Would be more specific on details thoroughly if you come here. Friendly male worker who helps you load the equipment tho!

While the store is pretty cramped and crowded, they were very nice and helpful. We rented a truck for a day. We reserved online. We even ended up dropping it off after hours. And everything went fine. Than you!

The guys who run this place were super friendly and moved the LONG line along quickly. Cost is a bit high, but thats expected when renting from Uhaul. I also got a NEW van the last time I rented here.I suggest making a reservation ONLINE and reading all the Terms and Conditions. Also know how many Miles you will be driving so that you dont have to pay an outrageous deposit.

Cody is a gem for this company and this location. Him and his team is the reason why I only rent the equipment at this location in the last 2 years. Helpful, courteous and efficient. Makes you feel welcome and like family!

Besides the fact that I had a reservation and stood inside while no employee was in there for about 30 minutes kind of upset me.

Always rent from these guys because of my other business TES HOUSE CALLS Friendly and fast service you go in they get you loaded up and ready to go Sunday I will drop off that box trailer guys.

Very convenient place. We were in and out in a decent amount of time. I like that they werent pushy to sell you additional services or products; that a big plus for me.There a couple of minor issues that if fixed, this may be the place to go for me in future needs. First, the gas tank was less than stated when we picked this up. It wasnt for much but still. Second, there seems a bit of disorganization outside, in the front of the location. The place is quite small and I wished I had been told where to park by any of the 3 employees outside, which should have noticed us trying to find parking and not wait until we parked in the wrong area.Overlooking those minor issues, our experience was positive and would go back and rent from this location.

Rented a trailer for a few hours. Never got deposit back. Called multiple times no one answered. Showed up and doors were open but no one around in shop or garage area. Several times when employees have been there they smell of recent drugs use

They have to close 7pm sharp, cant take even 5 min to make a costumer happy, I needed to pick up a trailer told me to come 5 min earlier, and I couldnt make by 2 min, that had some other costumers, and told me to come back next day, like always, blame the system, very disappointed.!!!! Drive 5 minutes up the road, and that wait for you for 20 to 25 minutes after they close, if u call them before they close....

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They charged me for keeping a uhaul out extra days during the time we were told to stay out of Florida for the hurricane! My family and I were traveling from Los Angeles moving to Florida. The U-Haul has already cost me $3500 after I was quoted $2800 then as we were heading to Florida we decided to stay in Tennessee while we wait on the hurricane to pass. I dropped off the U-Haul at the Pigeon Forge U-Haul and we called corporate HQ to explain about the hurricane and I was told it was ok to wait out the storm in TN without extra charge. Upon dropping off the U-Haul they charged me $390 for the extra days even though 1) The Uhaul was in Uhauls possession and 2) The hurricanehad stopped us from entering Florida. The manager was completely unprofessional and unhelpful in understanding our situation. Not how you treat your costumers who spend so much money with your company!!

No sense of direction. Over exaggerating cost of gas without any direction on how or why to drive uhaul. Small office. Disgusting parking lot. No restroom!
