I dont do reviews much but rely on them heavily. After calling two other septic companies and was told they do not service this area. The first recommended another who recommended Crotty. Called at 8pm Sunday and they adjusted their schedule to get me in. (They were already going to be in this area Anyway and I needed help now).They showed up and listened to what was happening and started digging. Found the lift pump was burned out and had a new one installed before I could drink a beer. Pumped that section and hunted down the 1st section that was packed with you know what. Pumped all that out and made sure water was flowing freely from the house and explained how little time it takes to fill the 1st section and how many loads of laundry to do each day.All said and done, I spent more than planned for a pumpout, but this thing was neglected way before we moved in and those pumps arent cheap. I dont know where all these negative reviews are coming from that literally concerned me, but my experience with Crotty was awesome. Flush away!

Septic inspection: I contracted BC Crotty services to drain and inspect a septic tank before I purchase my current residence. BC Crotty Charged me $ 445 on 18 Aug 2020 for inspecting and draining the septic system on 2350 Pine Needle Trail. I purchase this home by 25 Sep 2020 and withing few days a started to have problems with the toiles. The toilets will not flush properly, I call BC Crotty to come and see what the problem was. BC Crotty handyman came over and stated to work on the system, upon opening the lead of the tanks we can see that nether off the tanks where drained out or inspected by BC Crotty.They told me that for this service they will charge me $ 295 to drain these tanks, I show him the receipt that show the service provided by BC Crotty 13 Aug 2020. BC Crotty file a State O Florida Department off Health onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems existing system and system repair evaluation.I was told that to provide this certificate the septic system must be emptied and inspected. I agree and pay for this service. The problem is that BC Crotty Services provided to the state of Florida a equivocate report. The system was never dispose not inspected by BC Crotty.I did have to endure a fragile situation with a visit from a friend that came during these days and he could not use the bathroom because they were not serviceable, I was extremely embarrassed.

ScammersThis is how I found there work and it rained bad and it filled up but its our fault they said. 👏👏 we also got a video of a guy from this business came out and said it was done wrong 👍 never again and Im getting a attorney

I am a guest at the Riversedge motel in grant. I was here when this company was replacing the septic here. The quality of the work is very poor.He did have it complete in about seven days as I remember correctly. A month afterwards something went wrong waste was pouring underneath the building into the parking area creating a sludge I fell and split my head open. The manager called the owner of this company supposedly he came out I’m not sure what happened because the sludge is still there. The name on the septic trucks was Crotty septic. I never met a gentleman however the work was poor quality. There has been several other people that has fallen. Last week when the manager of the property fell and got a concussion I called the health department and I reported his company. Something has got to be done before somebody else gets hurt from his work.

This is a good company I dont have any problems with the work they do. But if you are or live in the Poinciana are watch out for this guy driving one of their trucks. He almost rear-ended me on Cypress Pkwy in front of Publix. Rushing over the white lines on the road before the right turn.

They showed up 2 days later then they agreed to do so. Then, fraudulently charged my credit card double of what they told me it would be. Never a call, or any notice. Then, when I called was cussed out by a Secretary.

I would NEVER use them again they have no idea what there doing over charge and ehen you ssked them to come back to fix there problems they wanna charge you again, if you need service done DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Phenomenal company, very polite from the initial phone call throughout the entire process. The gentlemen came on time, were knowledgeable extremely kind and kept me updated with what they were doing. Answered all my questions and made sure everything looked proper before they left. I highly recommend this company!!

Jackie in the office is excellent! Give her some time and you will know all the do & donts of your septic tank. They were able to get to my house the same day as my call, which was great since we are having remodel work done and the contractor accidentally pulled up the septic line - which is when we found the tank was full! Their tech, Mitch, was great. He was very personable and professional. He indeed has a crappy job, but he was upbeat about it and had our septic cleaned and running fine within the hour. He gave me pointers and suggestions also. I will use this company again 4 years from now when I need to have my septic cleaned again. You cant go wrong by calling this company to help you out of a bad situation.

Stole 700$ from my bank account after services. The charge was 200$ on the receipt I signed. Terrible service, came multiple times and every time the problem was something new. Didn’t know what they were doing and stole money.

This is a great company! They came out right away to pump the septic thank on my home,they were the only ones that actually showed up, i had spent 2 days trying to get someone to empty the thank in the Polk County area and all all them gave me excuse but this guys showed up and took care of everything in a professional way!They have my business from now on,thanks!

Came out and only pumped the 2nd compartment of my septic tank, never even opened up the 1st one. My whole house is still backed up after they left. When I called and told them I needed the entire system pumped they wanted $800 because they said they had to pump both if they came out, even though they just pumped one of them so I couldnt complain again. Stay away from these incompetent scammers who refused to make the situation right.

This company doesnt perform all the work you pay for. I had my tank allegedly drained 11/13/17 and the ground till this day jan 17/18 is still getting wet. The driver claims it was my drain field without checking it. And now my tank is filled again.when I called she said it was my drain field and when I tried to explain that it was never checked she said well its been two months and was basically blowing me off. How could it be my drain field when it was never checked? When I told her this she said he doesnt have to check it. I said well then how would you know? She said cause water would rush back in. I said well if he never looked for it then how can you tell if it was rushing back in? So basically she was just blowing me off when all I was requesting was for someone different to come back and really check it. In my opinion For my tank to refill so fast could only mean 2 things. 1) my pipe to the drain field is clogged or filter. Or 2) He never fully pumped out my tank or tanks if the tank has two holding chambers. Well I feel like I didnt get what I payed for and now Im screwed having to call another company to fully come pump it and really check it correctly and not half a s s it this time. Buyer beware! Will never use again or recomend. It seems the drain field exscuse is used when they dont know whats actually wrong or to lazy to perform the work.

I would not recommend this company. Both its work quality and customer service levels are subpar in my experience. I paid Crotty Septic $350 ($275 to pump and an additional $75 to clean the filter) to pump my septic tank about 2 months ago (2/17). In less than two full months (4/17) the septic tank began backing up into the shower. In the 15 years my family has lived in this home we have never had the septic back up so quickly after the septic was pumped.I called Crotty Septic to explain that something was wrong and their suggestion was that I may need a new drain field (funny that wasnt apparent to their skilled technicians 2 months ago) and that for $150 they would send someone out to look at the septic tank that they looked at 2 months ago. Our other alternative was to have the tank pumped for an additional $350.00. I did not feel that either option presented was fair to me as a customer, so I called a different septic company to look at my tank.When the technician from the other company came opened the septic tank he immediately noticed that the filter, which I paid $75 to have cleaned, was completely full. It was clear that the filter was not thoroughly cleaned (there was no way that we accumulated that much debris on the filter within 2 months. As soon as the filter was cleaned the water immediately began to flow out of the septic tank (indicating that there was no issue with the drain field).I called Crotty Septic to explain to them that it seemed that the filter was not cleaned properly when they came 2 month ago, and they tried to blame everything on me and my family. When I explained that my familys usage of the septic had not changed dramatically in the past two months Jackie (if remember her name correctly), the office manger, asked me if I follow each of my family members into the bathroom. She claimed that since I dont go in to the bathroom with my family members I couldnt possibly know what they are throwing down the toilet and that it was our activity that caused the filter to be blocked with a years plus with of debris within 2 months.When I asked her if she went on every job with her technicians to know exactly what they do on each job she replied of, course not. I replied, Just like you do not follow your technicians everywhere, I do not follow my family into the bathroom. How would she know whether her technicians thoroughly cleaned the filter or not if she was not there (remember, these are her ridiculous standards, not mine)? I explained that I felt she was being insulting by asking me such a ridiculous question and she gave the classic Im sorry you feel that way non-apology.In any event, I will never use Crotty Septic again. The office manager bragged about her company being in business for 40 years. Funny that you did not learn in 40 years that if a customer calls to complain about the quality of your work you do not insult the customer. Particularly if that customer told you she was so upset with the quality of work she would be writing a review (the office manger was quite upset that I would dare to right a review. So upset she found it best to insult me rather than coach her technicians). If the company would have sincerely listened to my concerns and promised they would talk to the technicians who did the poor job, they could have rectified the situation and I would likely not have posted this review.Amazing that in 40 years of business, and presumably more years on the planet, your office manager and your company have not learned you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

An appointment was set for Monday, April 3rd between 0800hrs and 1100hrs. Contacted the company around 0930hrs on the 3rd was told that they would show up before 1100hrs. Company did not show up to their scheduled appointment. Plans were changed in order to be at the home for their service.

Awful costumer service

Everett was the serviceman, he was on time, kind, and professional. Office woman, sandy, to book the appointment was friendly and helpful. Quick & easy service, just on the pricier side in comparison to others I’ve used.
