4/2/21- Awesome guide services and had a great time on the water even with 20mph winds and outside temps of 55-65F. I am from WI so these temps dont bother me much. My son and I only really fished during our time on the water. Captain Dumss knew where to put us onto fish. We caught fish as soon as we anchored until our last shiner was used. Will def be using these services again. Great people to work with.

What an amazing trip! We caught close to if not more than 30 fish. My dad doubled the weight of his personal best with a 9.3lb bass. We caught near 10 fish over 5lbs. The rest were all in the 2 to 4lb range. Being a Florida local Ive been out bass fishing many times with friends and family never having a day this productive. AJ definitley knows where to find them. Thank you for this memorable experience with me and my father!

Wow. What a great day fishing. AJ was a great guide and great guy. I actually booked 3 separate fishing trips on Lake Toho with 3 separate guides so I could determine who I wanted to use next time I return. AJ was by far the best. Not only did we catch a bunch of fish, he was fun to be with. He obviously knows the lake as we caught about 40 fish in 5 hours. Most were 3 pounds or so, but several were over 5 and one was over 7 pounds. Another point worth mentioning is that I almost cancelled with AJs because the 2 prior guides could not get wild shiners for some odd reason. AJs buys them directly from the guys who catch the bait...so we had plenty. Go with AJs and you wont be sorry.

Let me tell you guys-AJ is a great guide and knows bass fishing in the Orlando area like the back of his hand! We fished Lake Toho and he put us on the fish! I personally caught 33 largemouth out of ONE of his spots!! AJ put us on lots of fish and is very helpful! He took extra time with my wife, helping her fish and get em off the hook. A GREAT overall experience! If you are looking for a guide that will put you in the position to catch lots of high quality bass — AJ is your guy. He also has a group of experienced guides that he works with that will take care of you. Thnx AJ for doing such a great job! Landing that 8lbs+ bass was awesome!! You will see us again!

The Best fishing trip ! Thank you AJ Charter’s !! We had 5 of us,, 6 with the Captain, on a very large and fast boat on a very large Bass rich lake. We were out for only 2 1/2 hour trip but certainly caught our share or nice Large Mouth Bass. We had a Great Captian who took really great care of us Thanks so much ! To be honest Ive never caught so many large bass. Brent was our guide and he did an excellent job, showed up on time and showed my brother and I a few fishing tips we didnt know. I would ask for Brent if youre planning a fishing trip. He knows that lake like the back of his hand.

We have been on a fair number of fishing charters and this one just wasnt worth the money. Not many fish caught, which I understand is often the case when fishing, but the guide was rude at times, not overly friendly and cut the trip about 1 1/2 hours short, and then kept dropping hints about tipping him! Easily the least professional charter we have ever been on, would not consider ever using him again. Even our kids (7 and 11 years old) didnt have much fun.

Just had our second trip on Lake Toho with A J’s. Three of us caught 44 bass up to 5 pounds. Great service made for a delightful trip. Highly recommended!

AJ is definitely the best guide on this lake. We just set a record 60 bass in one day with an average of 3-5 lbs. This included two 6 pounders one 7 and one 8lb trophy bass. Was a awesome day. We caught so many fish we ran out of shiners early and he offered to get us more to keep fishing, most captains would have just called it a day. Would definitely recommend to anyone from first timers to lifelong fishermen

Had a great trip with AJ on Lake Toho. He put us on a mess of bass with the wild shiners- well worth the price of the bait. We had three fish on at once at one point! AJ was young, super calm, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I honestly dont think we caught a fish under 3 or 4 lb and he put my son on a 9 Pound hog! We will be back next year and wife wants to go too!! LOL

Spent two days fishing on Lake Toho. The bass were biting. 2 regrets: didnt get enough bait and didnt book a third day with A.J.s Freelancer . Cant wait to do it again.

Went bass fishing on lake Toho with captain AJ. We had the best day of fishing of our lives! We caught 33 and a 7 and 8 pounder! The action was non-stop. If youre looking to go fishing while youre in Orlando, AJs Bass Guides is the choice!

Beautiful morning with a knowledgeable guide who baited our hooks, brought cold drinks and had fun stories. Wish we went for more of a bit ride but with the 2.5 hour trip perhaps it was better to just find a good spot and try fishing as we did. We did catch 5 in our group, overall it was a nice experience.

My brother and I had a blast out there today. We spent five hours on Lake Toho, and caught 15 fish with our two biggest being 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 6 lbs. 4 oz! True lunkers that looked so healthy up close and photographed below. An outstanding fishing day, with AJ. Our guide, AJ recommended live shiners, so we did a nice combination of shiners and artificial bait. They hit shiners early in the morning and within 90 minutes we had already caught seven fish and landed our personal bests. AJ, cares about his clients, allows you to fish, and is also a friendly guide who doesn’t talk your ear off at 6AM. Lol. Highly recommend for anyone as this was our best guide experience ever. Thank you for the great memories and fishing.

Couldnt have asked for a better day on the water. Captain AJ took me and my son out and did not disappoint! The action started right away. We ended up catching 24 and my son got his new PB! AJ took great care of us. Him and his guides know these lakes better than anyone and will always have you on the best fish. If youre looking to go fishing in the Orlando area look no further. Wow, an incredible experience this morning with Jamie and Russ. Clear experts in bass fishing, their low-key, helpful, and thoughtful approach as guides makes for a terrific experience. And I mean terrific. We had a beautiful morning out on the lake and caught a bunch of bass between both boats. My best friend, little brother, and myself had an unbelievable time on the water with AJ yesterday. This was an artificial only fishing trip and AJ put us on a ton of fish! They were biting from the moment we started until the very end of our 8 hour fishing trip. If you are a skilled artificial bass angler, AJ is your guy to go catch some Florida Bass. His knowledge of what to throw and where to fish was unprecedented compared to other guides I have used in the past. We will 100% be back for another trip with AJ.

I arranged for my husband and son to go out fishing with Captain Jackson. What a great experience!!!! They caught a TON of huge bass and had a great morning doing it. My husband had a great day catching giant fish (Captain Jackson knew the best spots!) and so did my son… but I was glad that my son also came back to the hotel with tons of info about the incredible Florida wildlife they saw while out on the lake. My husband, who loves taking photos, came home with some stunning shots. It makes me wish I had gone along to take of advantage of everything this company had to offer all of us all out on the water. We will definitely book with Freelancer’s Bass Guide Service again on our next trip to Orlando, and next time, my daughter and I want to go, too.
