Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, all the basics you need or want in a hotel. Cons: not having a free breakfast for the price is silly. We switched to a nicer hotel for the same cost and got free breakfast. The rooms are set up a bit awkward, and our shower handle was really loose.
This is my favorite hotel in Kirkland because the there is a large whirlpool / hot tub in the middle of the room. Average staff friendlyness. Excellent parking. QFC grocery store with bakery located across the street. I rarely eat chocolate cake. But when I do, I eat it in a hot tub.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms and well-maintained lobby. Actually one of the best hotel stays Ive had.
Loved my stay in this hotel. Kept sparkling clean and spotless. Very helpful and friendly front desk and staff. Lobby has a Starbucks Bistro thats not listed on Starbucks website or app - sooo convenient with great service and the usual Starbucks fare. AND hotel is dog-friendly! Well probably be back soon with our pups for another visit,
I stayed in room 260. When I first walked in, it smelled like a gross locker room, I even woke up in the middle of the night disturbed by that smell. There was also a can in the recycle bin from the previous guests that they didnt empty out. They clearly didnt do a good job cleaning the room, or need better cleaning supplies for the smell. Im not sure if all the rooms were like this, but if I wasnt already running late to attend a wedding then I would have requested for another room. I was only staying for 1 night so I dealt with it.
James FD Supervisor is super kind and helpful. Thank you James.
Staff was friendly, I checked in early which was nice, startbucks coffee for sale in the lobby in the morning, and overall great place to stay. The cleanliness under the bed and in the bathrooms are a little eh and the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars.
Positive: Convenient location Negative: NOT pet friendly. Pet tolerant at best. $---/night pet charge PLUS charge for each car parking, water in room, others
Amazing place to stay! It is gorgeous. The rooms are unique and very clean. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this place!!!! Great service. Friendly staff. Very clean and well taken care of building. If you want to feel special for a night or two, this is the place to go. I felt like royalty walking into this place....even the elevator is nice! 💗
Used the dayuse app to find a room for the day 9-5, to escape the heat and use the pool. Very worthwhile. Great room. Great airco.
WARNING. I booked 3 nights in the middle of a heatwave & booked online. I opted to stay an additional night, and the hotel charged me their rack rate. Finally, they offered the AAA discount which is still above the rate on their own site. They REFUSED to match the Marriott room price that is listed on the internet. They said they are not allowed to change it or do anything and that I should always book online. But I did book online? Why would I book online for an extra day when Im at the hotel. Anyhow, the room was fine, but the manager I spoke with was a broken record & did not care. And, the only reason I stayed is a HEAT WAVE. It ruined my image of Marriott.
Positive: Staff is A #1 Good shower Negative: - Pay to park-didnt see that online - Hard mattress - Wimpy pillows - Confusing property layout - Filthy AC filters - Broken ice machine...looking walk to the one downstairs - Its a Courtyard. An outdated lodging concept.
Positive: The staff was awsome Negative: Lots of cleaning issues in room
Positive: Location and cleanliness Negative: No hot tub
We booked a stay here for a Wednesday night because we were in the area (from whidbey island, 2 hours away) for two days of appointments at Seattle childrens for our son. Well, our trip turned upside down because our car broke down in Seattle and so we cabbed back to kirkland to our hotel and tried to figure things out. Haiden, one of the front desk workers was SO helpful and kind and offered a ton of good vibes and worked with us and I was able to book another night while we figured out how we were going to get back home. He alleviated my stress with just a smile and good stories haha. It was a small gesture to most but small acts of kindness to me are enough to get me back on my feet. Thanks Haiden! The tattooed, green haired lady with the kid on the cast appreciate you! Thanks for all your help!Aside from that, the room was clean, smelled nice, comfy and accommodating! Good job!
Staff was friendly, I checked in early which was nice.
Loved the customer service and rooms were very clean and comfortable :) didnt really understand the $10 parking?
Positive: Working air conditioning, spacious rooms, and great features.
The customer service here is amazing. Every individual at the front desk as well as management is super friendly and professional. They make you feel super welcome. Can’t wait for my next stay.
Very kind employees! Hotel is super clean. Room was comfortable and almost perfect. Better shower head and would raise the score to perfect...
This hotel was clean with large rooms. Comfortable beds and outstanding front desk service. We had a great time. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the coffee maker and coffee.
I love this place. Great staff and underground parking. Quick access to your car on those rainy days.
We arrived for late check in this past weekend and walked into a filthy room. We first noticed spots all over the mirror in the bathroom, then we went to use the microwave and it was greasy inside, then when we turned down the mattress we noticed yellow and red stains on the sheets .
Positive: Clean, quiet location Negative: Pay parking
Comfortable beds, great service. Good price for the area.
Nice good people and nice service... thx
Food court manager was rude about my daughter and her service dog and one front desk employ said when my daughter walked away from the desk what a b**** quote . We and other guests heard her.Very unprofessional.
Nice place had a few issues but good over all
Were rude to my friend about her service dog confrontation should never have happened a worker behind the desk should have never called her a b**** where is she and part of a band that was there downstairs at the time hurd her she should be replaced the manager of the food court across the way should have sensitivity training
Had a lobby business meeting and the place was clean and readily available. The clerk said that the hotel was fully available.
The staff was amazing and nice. Hotel was beautiful. However I was not happy when I pulled back my blanket and there were bloodish stains on my sheets. I took a photo and showed the staff and all he said was I can note it for you Also I parked outfront in the neighboring parking lot and the hotel still charged me 10.00 to park. If it wasnt for those issues I would have given them a 5 star.
Positive: Night staff Awesome! Funny! Amazing! Negative: I dont like that we have to pay extra for breakfast. Didnt realize that prior to the 1st time I stayed at your establishment.
Rooms are clean an d services are awesome. 5 stars.
Positive: The room was very nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable. I will book another room soon. Negative: The only room service was breakfast. This was due to the COVID 19 scare. I understood. The hotel did meet my expectations.
Positive: location Negative: n/a
The customer service here is amazing. Can’t wait for my next stay.
Amanda is the best hotelier in the entire Eastside region of Seattle. She is the best and there is no one better. She helps guests with everything while handling dozens of other tasks at the same time, all with quality and platinum standards. Thank you Amanda.
My favorites. Especially some of the front desk people are super cool :)
Billy who checked me in was very accommodating and courteous. Rooms were a good size and everything was clean. Location is perfect for anyone who wants to be close enough to the freeway to make it convenient but not so close that there was any noise.
Excellent service. Updated and well appointed rooms.Weak water pressure and temperature is only n warm.
What is going on with Reservations? - Tried making a reservation on the phone for 1/4/2021 to 1/08/2021. The person on the phone was going to charge me $118 a night no cancellation available. The reservationist told me if I wanted possible cancellation the room charge would be $160 night. I am a traveling FSE and never know if my job is going to be canceled. Just made reservation using my work app SAP and managed to get room at a rate of $89 with a 1 day cancelation period. Confirmation:85195423, Frequent Guest Number:710573793 Titanium elite. Not a happy customer trying to make reservation by phone!
The staff was exceptional every time I walk through the door they greeted me. Nice nice place to stay outside of the Seattle bustle
Beautiful rooms... Very clean quite n good customer service!!!😁😁😁
Positive: It is convenient to my work. Grocery store and a few restaurants are close. Quiet. Negative: It’s not a resort. They charge $10+tax for “DAILY†parking. It should be included in the price. Water is $5 a bottle. Staff was rude, unfriendly.
Nice quiet clean rooms and a great location
Friendly staff. TVs in the room are too small.
The room was your typical Marriott room, clean and up to date. Nothing that would really set it apart. But, from the moment you walk in until you check out, the staff is absolutely amazing. The front desk is friendly and very attentive, house keeping is amazing, random employees walking around are friendly and helpful. They really make this property special and make you feel like your business is wanted and youre welcome there like a second home.
Its easy to give a good experience when you are in a desirable, visually exciting area. providing a comfortable, enjoyable escape in a boring suburban area is much more difficult, for which Courtyard Seattle Kirkland should be commended. I was staying there as a gift from my spouse to get away from childcare for a night, so comfort, cleanliness, and convenience were key. This place delivered on all fronts.
We enjoyed time with our children and Grandchildren. The pool always makes for a great place to burn energy but we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of our room as well as the opportunity to enjoy breakfast together down in the dining area. The breakfast choices were wonderful!
Modern facility. Large comfy rooms. Enjoyed my business conference there.
Positive: Bed was comfortable Negative: We didnt expect to have to pay for parking in the suburbs.
At check-in, Billy was helpful in recommending restaurants and directions to them. He understood our needs. He remembered us from our first stay 5 months ago. The Hotel is convenient to the area, easy to find and travel to/from.Room HVAC was quiet. A real positive for me.
Welcome staff. Clean rooms
All in all, its modern and clean. I had a nice, quiet stay. The bed was cozy and the staff was friendly. Minus one star for not offering any sort of free breakfast options. Minus one star because I had booked one room to share with a couple of family members. Upon realizing that we needed more space, I called the front desk to book another room. It was 8PM and figured they could give me a decent rate considering otherwise it would be empty (and we were paying for another room AND we are long time Marriott rewards members). However, the lady at the front desk quoted me a very high rate and said that it was the lowest possible. I declined and jumped online to do some research. Within about 2 minutes, I found a rate at the same hotel for $30 less per night than she had offered. That seemed a bit shady to me and certainly not great customer service. 🤷♂️Check rates online to make sure youre getting it cheapest!
Very convenient for eating and shopping. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.
My impression of this hotel was dominated by one particular experience: the seating in our room was MISERABLE.We knew that wed have a fair bit of downtime this trip, so we paid for a suite. This got us a bedroom with a perfectly fine bed, and a separate living space with a love seat, chair, and desk with office chair. Spending time trying to sit in this living space was an agonizing torment. We could not get comfortable on the love seat no matter what position or arrangement of pillows we tried. We sat in the chair and sank nearly to the floor. Honestly the cheap office chair was the least torturous seat in the room. Alas, there was only one of it for the two of us. I went to bed early every night just so I wouldnt have to sit in that room one minute longer. I also made a list of more comfortable seats Ive had, including economy airplane seats, rocks alongside trails I was hiking, and a sofa I picked up for free from a curb back when I was in college. (Though admittedly that last one didnt smell so good.)In short, while everything else about the hotel was just fine, I didnt care. I just couldnt sit down.
This Marriott take pride in great services. You will not regret staying .
The staff at the Courtyard Marriott were kind, accommodating and went above and beyond. I came to town for surgery and they were happy to help to make my stay comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.
Enjoyable stay for a quick business trip. Staff was extremely courteous. There is an option to go without housekeeping by putting on a door handle sign, which is a great option, not only for the environment (by not changing towels/linen), but convenient if working in the room during the morning.
Great hotel was very modern and clean the staff was friendly. The hotel is in a great location!!
Excellent location and staff were super friendly...I enjoyed the sumptuousness of the king room with the sofa and ate lots of delish Mediterranean food from the Mediterranean Kitchen restaurant across the street. Enjoyed my stay!
Couldnt be more thrilled. This hotel was everything we could have asked for. We came for a weekend away and it was really a great experience. The staff was awesome and the hotel was so clean. Bathroom was awesome with the tub with the water that came out from the top of the ceiling. We will always be back here if traveling back to Seattle.
This was a great stop for us on route. The hotel was easy to find and there were great amenities nearby. Staff were friendly and room was spacious and clean. Reuben sandwich was a bit of a disappointment - especially because the menu claimed it was “elevated”. It wasn’t. But the fries that came with it were delicious and let’s face it, a sandwich that didn’t quite meet expectations is such a first world problem!
Staff was super awesome, polite and professional. Seemed under staffed for the amount of guests staying durning the week. Food is super good! Their coffee drinks are super consistent. Would highly recommend.
Nice room clean
I mostly wanted to talk about the staff during my stay at this Marriott. I was there from Mon 7/29 thru Sat 8/17. The guys and gals at the front desk treated me like a good friend. The guys at the Bistro were great as well. I also got some help from the director of the laundry room group and the maintenance staff. She was so kind to me. I came in from the garage with a bunch of stuff to take to my room one evening and she was coming out of the laundry room to head home. I asked her if she happened to know where there were any luggage carriers? She told me they were all at the front desk. So I explained my situation and she said she would go to the front desk and get one and send it down on the elevator...pretty clever!! I waited for awhile and nothing came on the elevator. But pretty soon she came down the stairs and told me they were all in use. So she went into the laundry room, got me a laundry basket to put my stuff in and said to just return it to the door in front of the laundry room, which I did. She went above and beyond her job duties and was so nice. There was also a young man at the front desk with red hair that was also wonderful and so friendly. And I also got to know one of the maintenance guys that brought stuff to my room when I needed it who was very sweet and friendly. I just remember he was a young African American. Im so terrible with names. All of the gals at the front desk were kind and personable. And one of the managers went above and beyond to help me get into a disabled room, which I did not realize I needed until after Id been in a double queen room for a few days. I remember he was on the semi-young side with light brown hair and a beard. One other thing I wanted to mention is the great team work at that hotel. They all worked together like a fine oiled machine.
We decided (at the last minute) to book a room on New Years Eve so that we didnt have to drive back to Tacoma, after watching the fireworks in Seattle and possibly having adult beverages. Luckily there was an available room here. When I first arrived the lady at the front desk was very nice and super accommodating. She told me that shed find me a really nice room and asked me about my preferences. The room that she provided me with was beautiful. It was a king bedroom with a balcony. The entire establishment was clean and had up to date decor and appliances. Every member of the staff that I had contact with, was genuinely polite. I would have loved to give this place 5 stars, but we werent able to get a hot shower, before leaving in the morning. The hot water must have been used up by other patrons before we took ours. What a bummer, but luckily we didnt live far and a lukewarm shower was sufficient for a 45 minute drive home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others, with the advice to shower early or before bed.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Wouldnt mind having a small table in the bathroom to put clothes on, as there was plenty of room for one. As a Marriott Gold member I was hoping for a room upgrade, but the front desk clerk couldnt make that happen. Still, we were quite happy with the room we got. The noise level from others was at a minimum (to the point where we thought we were the only ones staying in our wing), which made for a very good nights sleep our entire stay. Easy access to the highway and restaurants. Grocery store across the street is super convenient. Staff was always friendly, happy, and helpful. Iced tea was always good (important to us as we dont drink coffee). Parking is a bit limited but the attached parking garage offers more space than it looks, which is more than sufficient. One thing I couldnt find in our room was the book that details information about the wifi, the nearby places to eat, places to visit, and other hotel specifics. Family is close by, and we decided this will be our go-to hotel when were visiting them. It fit our needs perfectly.
Very last minute, great location, near a grocery store and bus stop!
Always love staying here. Warm and friendly staff, perfect room, clean and comfortable. Extra thanks to Billy for his guest service!
Nice hotel in north Kirkland. It is easily accessible and very close to exit 20B of 405 North. There are both outdoor and indoor parking possibilities, at a very reasonable fee. The Bistro/restaurant has a moderate offering, but still good enough for a quick bite. There are other options within walking distance. The rooms are quite basic. Two weak points: very little amenities, especially in the bathroom and no in room safe. The personnel is very friendly and tries to help out as much as possible. They are not super responsive on chat, better to call front desk if you need anything. Given the good pricing, this remains in my opinion still a good choice for Kirkland
My daughter and I had a great time here! Our room was modern and comfortable, the TV has internet so you can use your Netflix which was really nice since theres not very many channels on the TV. We chose to stay here specifically for the pool option and we werent disappointed, the pool was warm and fun! Not overly large but just perfect for an hour of fun at the end of the day. I also appreciated that parking was only $10 a night versus other hotels that were much more expensive. They also had a little bistro on site in the lobby which was awesome. I left something behind in the room though and was directed to leave a message with housekeeping, its now been over a week and I still havent received it back and I had to pay for the shipping to return it to me. The only thing I would have changed was the blanket on the bed, it was far too small for two people to be under at the same time, it was good that I always bring a blanket with me for long trips and could use that or I would have been really cold.
What a beautiful hotel. So fresh and so clean clean. The staff is so kind. And the front desk assistant, Haiden was awesome and super friendly!! Best front desk assistant I’ve ever met. Will definitely be staying here again.
We stayed at Courtyard in Kirkland for a couple days during the Christmas Holiday. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The check in process was very quick. The room and bathroom were very well organized and kept. Extremely roomy. The bed was comfy as well with plenty of pillows. Central air in the room was very nice as well. The staff even hung stockings on the rooms Christmas morning filled with a few small gifts. What a great and thoughtful idea! The parking garage was a nice touch too to avoid going to and from the car in the elements. The only thing we were not a fan of was the long hallway walk to our room. Rather minor complaint really though.Highly recommend the hotel!
Hayden at the front desk was amazing. He went out to purchase and set up the flowers, cake and balloon prior to our arrival and upgraded us to a bigger room as we were celebrating my birthday. My wife was giving me a surprise stay at our local Marriott and Hayden took it to another level by providing us the decorations and cake free of charge. I must say, out of all the stays we have had with Marriott (150+ nights) this was the best customer service we have received. Thank you Hayden for making this local stay a memorable one.
We stayed for nights because our bathroom was remodeled. We chose courtyard because its close to the house but in addition its surrounded by restaurants and 2 big grocery stores. We also know its a clean hotel from previous stay. We like it has an indoor pool and fitness center. Front desk was very nice, always answer phone enquiries quickly. The hotel has a vert convinient exit/entrance door. Most importantly the bed/pillows are Marriott standard, very nice.
Room was not ready at 4pm had to wait until 430pm. Dirty bedding and hair on the bathroom floor. Nice hotel great location and room layout. May not be normal for this hotel or they were having a bad day not sure. But big turn off when you discover after you wake up that perhaps the room was not serviced completely from the previous guest
We went to check in and our online reservations were not made, through Expedia. Staff were very helpful and patient while I rebooked our room. The front desk staff made me feel welcome and relaxed after finding out the mistake. Great sense of humour.
Very dirty room upon arrival. Dirty towels, dirty floors, and hair all over the bathroom and one in the sheet. Really disappointing for Marriott.
The rooms are ALWAYS immaculate! The staff make you feel like you are in your own house with their warm smiles and accommodating behaviors. Recommended!
If you need a great place to stay, Courtyard Seattle Kirkland should be on your list. Its a great location with many benefits. The room was fabulous! The fact that you could walk across the way to get something to eat or drink at many establishments was a real bonus. The view was glorious in the mornings and evenings. Even though it was a populated area, it was not loud or too much traffic. We had easy access to and from the interstate. Best location for my needs and I will most definitely stay at this location again. Wonderful experience!
Nice surroundings, very friendly and efficient. Quiet room. For the type of hotel, it is still one of the best to stay in, especially for business.
Right across the street from a major supermarket which is convenient. If youre particular about traffic noise (Im not) this may not be an ideal location for you (its not unseemly...just noticeable). Easy access to expressway in case your travel requires this. Nice outdoor patio. Parking spaces are kind of compact though. Staff is helpful and friendly.
This is a great place to stay. Convenient to all attractions. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Didn’t really hear any hallway noise or traffic noise from our room. Staff was very friendly.
AC doesnt go below 65, which left me hot at night. Additionally, the water heater never got above lukewarm in the shower. It was just an okay stay, with no special amenities or anything. Stayed for work, wouldnt choose it doe personal trips.
The room was fine, clean. They would have gotten 5 stars except for the fact that they charged you for every little thing, even 5 dollars to park your car on there property. On top of that there wasnt even a lousy continental breakfast. Im surprised the didnt charge for the in room coffee. I thought the room price and the name Marriott would mean something, I guess I was wrong. Wont be staying there again.
Perfect location. Everything you would need. Great staff. Great weekend rate.
Overall we had an excellent stay. We have come to Kirkland annually for our sons basketball tournament and stay at the Courtyard Marriot each time. The staff have treated us very well and the location is close to both the tournament and many amenities.
Check in and check out were both friendly and efficient. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is unclear due to the hotel sharing the lot with the business next door and if you park in a numbered spot when you arrive you have to move you car or risk getting towed in the morning. Overall a good stay.
Rooms are large, parking underneath the building included. The bistro food was excellent. Staff very helpful.
Other than not being able to wash my hair in the shower- because of no water pressure (less than in my 5th wheel!!) and open partially used packages in the coffee basket the place was nice. The room was clean. There is a parking garage, super tight for our suburban, but it worked. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but not the usual continental breakfast that most places offer these days. It was close to downtown by the toll road that takes your picture and charges you by mail- which is fine if it was easy to find a different route into downtown. It may be easy for those familiar with the area. It worked for what we needed but we won’t be back.
The front desk staff unintentionally charged everyone from my company. Everyone has been incredibly helpful in getting this fixed. The Bistro has decent food and very friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are well cleaned and comfortable.
Great location!
Haiden, the guy at the counter is amazing. He is polite, nice and really helpful. Great attitude. Rooms, and food are good.
Great location, good value and awesome service. Typical Marriott, you always get more for less. Always my first choice 😄
I really appreciated the wonderful menu at the restaurant/bar - great for solo business travel. I was able to pick up a delicious meal and glass of wine to bring back to my room when I arrived mid-evening. Internet speeds were great and able to stream a few episodes of a show on Amazon Prime. Very nice and comfortable accommodations and enjoyed a Starbucks coffee and delicious breakfast from the cafe in the lobby. Being in a suburban location having a nice food option right in the hotel makes a world of difference not having to learn the surrounding area and take an uber for a quick meal.
The hotel was nice. The rooms were done being cleaned, didn’t get out room til after 4p, however the front desk ladies allowed us access to the pool so the kids could swim. When we got to our room there was a dirty towel hanging on the shower rod. The rooms were very nice and modern looking.
