My son started at Master Kims Tiger Tae Kwon Do when he was 4 and still goes till this day. He is now 15. This school has become a family to him. Besides learning many self defense techniques, Master Kim and his instructors have taught him a healthy way of life physically and mentally. The teachings have helped him with concentration, self confidence, a positive outlook, to be respectful, and a strong work ethic. I wish his curriculum was taught at every public and private school.

I love master Kim’s for my son he has been there for a year and he’s learned so much!! He loves it and looks forward to earning each new level belt. He’s currently on orange and we’re looking forward to the next belt test. For each test, they need to make a promise to themselves or their parents. If they break that promise, they are reprimanded and held accountable. Luckily, we haven’t had broken promises yet so I don’t know the consequences. My daughter is easily distractable, very independent and full of energy. Initially we signed her up for tae kwon do to take advantage of the values taught asking with the martial arts - respect, perseverance, discipline, humility, discipline, generosity and integrity. What weve also seen since she started there last June is also greater self confidence and self awareness since shes required to make a promise to test for each belt. And shes been sticking to the promises! Master Kim and all the instructors know her by name and pay attn to each child, including constructive criticism, which she listens and even corrects. Our family joined Master Kim’s Tiger Taekwondo when we moved to Kinnelon in 2012. My oldest has been taking Taekwondo for 3 years prior and Master Kim, the staff and students were very welcoming. My daughter joined the leadership team shortly after joining and it has been a wonderful experience. The PeeWee classes are so fun for the little ones and really helps them focus on their large motor skills while teaching them very basic moves. Children’s classes are more serious - ensuring new students learn the proper skills and techniques while ensuring an enjoyable environment. Adult classes are focused and challenging allowing each of us to learn and progress at our own pace and within our own limitations. Master Kim respects his students and focuses on the whole person by incorporating both mental and physical skills into the training. We have all learned a little bit of Korean and little about Korea while learning valuable self defense skills at the same time. We even had the opportunity to have a Korean student stay with us for a few days this year! My children have learned self discipline, patience and have gained self confidence through Taekwondo. I highly recommend this school and value the friends we have all made through Master Kim’s Tiger Taekwondo.

Master Kims Tiger Taekwondo has taught me lots of things including mental and physical strength. I made new friends and lots of memories. Master Kims is the best martial arts program Ive been involved in. Im currently training in my 3rd form of martial arts at Master Kims Tiger TKD and its my favorite training experience by far.Ive also observed how great Master Kim and his instructors are with the kids and how well they respond to him. Kids learn balanace, coordination, self control, discipline, and respect on top of the Taekwondo program. Im truly excited for my son to begin training here as soon as he is of age.
