I have been a customer for 20+ years because Burt will take the time to help you get what you need and easily handle any hiccups that can (and occasionally do) occur along the way. He carries quality products, likes to chat, and has the insight that you cannot get at the big box stores.

I went to Burts with all of my own parts, in hopes of getting an auxiliary battery wired in my van. Burt explained to me that my plan would have resulted in my vans electrical system frying, then took about two hours to help me research and plan out how to properly wire this! He didnt charge me for the consultation. I am now ordering the correct parts and will DEFINITELY get the system wired at Burts. In addition to being a true professional, Burt is a smart, funny and personable guy, with GRATE taste in music! Check out his vintage vinyl selection and poster collection! I have found that more often than not, mobile audio installers over charge, do poor work, and are not willing to help when their installs fail. Burt, on the other hand, takes his time and does it right the first time. If he is not comfortable with an install, he will turn down the sale, rather than jeopardizing your vehicles electrical system or warranty.In short, I would recommend Burts Electronics to anyone who is looking to get any type of audio installation in their home or vehicle. Burt is an extremely knowledgeable guy and has a good selection of high-quality items at reasonable prices. Hes often the only place to go. And he knows it. I have been a customer for a while, but no longer. I am so tired of being condescended to and fought on everything I say or do. Burt seems to have no problem talking down to a man with his teenage son there, making fun of the gentlemans setup from back when he was in college. He seems to need to make sure everyone knows he knows what hes talking about. If you go there, prepare for a lecture, even if youre just buying a discwasher refill bottle. None of us are good enough for him. On top of all of this, I have to say, I have found his car stereo install work suspect. He regularly breaks trim pieces and I found sloppy splicing and wire layout galore on the last one he did. Its not worth it to go back for a repair or anything, I just do it myself. So, in sum, never again. Ill move heaven and earth to never have to go here again.

My bmw was solo difficult to work on but Burt was able to fix the stereo and made it sound great..thank you Burt!

If I had spent a lot of money and got results like that it would have been worth it. Burt advised me to wire my sub differently and is was as if a veil had been raised with all the new clarity I was hearing- and it cost nothing.

I love Burts electronic in Kingston! we have a car radio again not only did burt special order parts to mount the radio and install it for me but he also figured out how to get my phone connected to the blue tooth and discovered how the old radio broke, hell of a guy definitely worth checking out for all your audio needs

This guy is an absolute clown. We called him and he told us he could try and get something in for us in a couple days. Told one of us that he ordered it and he was waiting for the UPS truck when I called, he told me he never even ordered it becuase we made it clear we did not want it. Then the other person called again a month later, he told him to order it, I called 3 days later, he told me that it does not come over night so we have to let him know if we want it or not even though we have told him two times to order it. The guy will tell you BS just to try and get you to keep coming to him when he actually does not do what he says. We could have had 5 others places order this by now and have it but since he has been jerking us around we have to wait even longer. DO NOT BOTHER, NOT WORTH THE TIME!

Burt is a rare breed of expert in a field that has deemed his field moot--and boy, are they wrong! He is the archaeologist of stereo equipment and helped us revive a dead turntable--what others would leave for dust. Miracle worker, Indiana Jones, Bionic Man, you get the picture!
