The owner and his instructors are fantastic. I would recommend this school for all ages. Great place and Keith goes out of his way to make all fell welcomed at his school.

Keith is a strong fixture in our community for 31 years and brings his love for the area into his love and discipline in the martial arts. My grandson has grown so much in this positive environment and there is nothing better than watching him gain strength and confidence. I cannot recommend Keith’s program enough!!

My 4.5 year old daughter and I started karate here a few months ago and I cant say enough good things about it. There is a real community here that is open and friendly. Everyone is professional and accepting of any age, any body type, any situation. They are supportive, encouraging and the classes are FUN. I chose this karate studio because kids and parents can take classes *together* which is so unique! She and I have the best time! My daughters confidence is improving, she listens more at home and she is stronger and has better balance then some of her peers. We enjoy going to class, meeting new friends and getting in some great exercise!

So first impression I was pleased, he said had lots of 3 year olds and that he take her, the 3 time she went he was very rude to my aunt who brought my daughter there, he told me on the phone to bring her a few more times and that he will start a little ones class, but my aunt said he said she is not ready she’s to small and that he told me that she wasn’t ready yet, he kept making comments as if he was annoyed that she was coming to class, I was very upset by how rude he was and will not be going back.

This is one of the best Karate Schools around. The instructors are the best not to mention how awesome they are with the children. My 11year old has been going since the age 7 and the positive changes she has made is breath taking, I also go it is one of the best things you can do as a family for family time not to mention the Birthday Parties, Movie night for kids, Marathons to raise money for the needs of others in our own Community . The Pride that comes from this school is awesome. Once you try you will love it, also the friends and family you will make is forever. Master Keith Bennett and wife Master Kim Bennett to me should win award for all that they do for all in Ulster County.

Keith Bennetts Karate Academy was most definitely the right choice for my daughter and I. The family oriented atmosphere and welcoming staff removed any anxiety or trepidation I had at first. The schedule is convenient and I really appreciate the fact that you are not limited to the number of classes you can attend each week. You can go as often as you like. Master Bennett and the other instructors treat each person as an individual and not just a face in the crowd. It has only been a few weeks and already I am noticing a difference in my 4 1/2 year old and myself. She is listening better and I am calmer and more patient. I look forward to our continued education in the martial arts.

I have been playing sports all my life, and this is one of the best workouts I have ever gotten. I have exhausted muscles I didn’t know I had. That is something I never would have done, or been able to do working out in a gym by myself. I have been in the kicking boxing class for several weeks and feel more toned and energetic. Keith is a great motivator, and although he gives a tough workout it is always fun!

Havent been there yet, but Mr. Bennett is a good friend of mine. He knows his stuff. If youre willing to work and learn- hes the man.

Bennett Kwan Jang Nims integrity in the Art of Tang Soo Do and his personal commitment to the study and teaching of it has inspired me to travel 8 hours round trip to BE in that space. Kwan Jang Nim has also shown patience, kindness and consideration of my physical limitations as a 70 year old man who has passion and commitment to master the Art whch is a life long journey. I was first introduced to Mr. Bennett and his Marital Arts/Kickboxing classes through a self-defense instruction course offered through my employer. I was extremely impressed with Mr. Bennetts work ethic and personal values. I had been very active in sports my entire life up until I had to raise a family and really wanted to get back in shape. I needed to find something which meet my life schedule along with keeping myself motivated to keep working out consistently. I had been working out at home using various exercise DVDs, but saw stagnant results. Mr. Bennett suggested I try the Kick Boxing cardio class and I am sooooo glad he did!! The class meets 3 times a week presently and each class workout is NEVER the same! The workouts are incredible! Mr. Bennett is extremely knowledge about kickboxing and the muscles in the human body. He motivates the students to try their best and even helps us to push overselves! I never thought I would enjoy boxing but the techniques we are taught not only tone and shape my body but also have made me more disciplined and confident!! I have been in the class for 10 weeks now. I see improvements in my diet (thanks to Mr. Bennetts recommendations), my endurance and energy throughout the day, but more importantly, my body is getting leaner and toner! Hurray!!! What makes this so amazing is that I just turned 50 years old! You know when you come to the class you will sweat and use muscles that you did not even know you had!! I STRONGLY encourage other woman to enroll in this program and experience the impact it will have on your life!!
