Good price but inconsistent quality of service.Been going here for a couple years. Most of my orders were fine. However, I will be taking my business elsewhere as the service has become inconsistent. More than once I asked for alterations that weren’t made. Multiple shirts in multiple orders including my last two cleanings had pressed in wrinkles up the middle of the shirt.I asked for a refund on my last order and was declined.To be fair, they offered a credit to make it right and said they would redo the order. However, I don’t feel it’s worth the extra time and effort as I’m not optimistic that the situation won’t repeat itself.

Needed a suit cleaned and pressed for the weekend. This was the last stop I decided to make that day after hearing no from several places, as well as getting an offer from someone to clean and press for $75. I was ready to give up, stopped here and not only was my predicament not an issue, they did it for cheap! Got my email the next day to go and pickup. Highly professional, fast and affordable. They make me want to own more suits

They ruined my wool comforter and did NOTHING about it, even after I had the Better Business Bureau (BBB) contact them. I dropped my comforter off and salesperson asked what the material was and I told her it was wool. Wool has special needs, as it can shrink. I got it back and the wool had shrunk terribly, leaving the case all bunched up and quilt shrunk from a king to about a double. I got the email of the owner and contacted her. She said sometimes this could be fixed. This is when Iexplained that the wool was now FELTED and couldnt be reversed. I am a felter and this is what I do to wool when I want it felted (loose wool is agitated with hot water and soap and the rough fibers of the wool PERMANANTLY lock together.) No response. I told her I had to get a new comforter and that I wanted money back for ruining comforter and what I paid to have it cleaned. No response. I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS USE THIS DRY CLEANER. BTW...owner owns more than Kingston location, so I would avoid ALL of them.

Dry cleaned and repaired a double sleeping bag...super fast service and incredible price....I was shocked how reasonable it was.Will use their services again for sure

I was pleased to see a new dry cleaning place in town. So I tried it, and I loved it. Its clean and modern looking. The staff was pleasant and nice. Laura in particular was a breathe of fresh air. She is super friendly, nice and helpful.I have been going to one place in particular for a long time. I have never been WOWed by the service, or the way my clothes looked when delivered. Lapels WOWED ME. My clothes looked amazing, pressed, and very professionally done. Very noticeable differences! Extreme difference!!! There was pride of ownership in the work done. I didnt know there could be a difference. GO and try it, you wont be disappointed. It’s like when your Mom ironed your shirt for a special occasion when you were a little kid.They also were able to smooth out a jacket I brought in that was scorched elsewhere because the heat was to hot.Their prices are a little less expensive then the others too.

This was my first experience with Lapels, and I will definitely be using your services again!! I typically don’t use a dry cleaning service because of the chemicals used. Someone suggested checking out a ‘green cleaners’ (which I’d never even heard of!) and after looking online for one near me, I chose Lapels. I brought in 2 luxury scarves, and was a bit apprehensive about dropping them off. Then, there was the knowledge that the cleaning wasn’t done on site, but rather at a different location. Brooke was so patient and kind when I asked her a million questions (I even called, after dropping my things off, to ask a few more questions!). My scarves were cleaned within the time frame given to me, and I was very pleased with the entire experience using your cleaning service! Brooke was wonderful, and I appreciated her sweet and professional attitude! Thank you so much!!

Ive had very good experiences at the Lapels location in Kingston, MA. The prices are competitive, my order is always ready when I return for it, and the desk help are competent and friendly. I havent used any services other than dry cleaning yet but Id highly recommend this shop.

I can’t use conventional dry cleaners because of my allergies and sensitivity to chemicals. This place is the answer!No nasty smell, and it smells like fresh air when you walk in the place. I got my designer wool coat cleaned and it came out great. Ready in two days, fifteen bucks. Not bad! Anyone looking to go green this is the place. Staff are wonderful women who care about their service. I highly recommend Lapels in Latham NY. Look for it just across from Monroe Muffler on route 9.

Lapels just opened near me in Latham, NY and Im thrilled! Their service was excellent, the store is very clean and bright, and I love that I receive a text as soon as my dry cleaning is ready. Great service and excellent work. I have our bed linens ironed by Lapels and they come back beautifully finished on hangers. They are excellent for dry cleaning heavy wool coats and suede coats at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I use Lapels (the one in Kingston. MA) whenever I am in Mass and have cleaning. I have always had a great result and the costs have been reasonable. Last week I drove to the shop for a pick-up. It was the day following a pretty serious storm (plenty of wind and rain). As it turns out the electricity had failed where the Lapels was located, but they were open and the person at the counter was helpful, got my cleaning, and charged me in cash.

I have been using this location for a while now and always pleasant employees. The repairs are great and not a killer on prices.

The staff are always very congenial. Not sure how thy remember as I’m not in frequently, but they often remember my name!

The Kingston location is the one i go to and they are always super friendly and helpful. I will continue to go back there. Thank you

I’ve stopped in twice looking to get a bag and join the VIP service. Both staff had no idea how to do either. I was given a card for the business owner. No answer to the phone and also no reply to my email. Finally, I I quoted online about delivery service and never heard back. Very difficult company to deal with.
