My husband and I have been searching for a barber or men’s hairstylist for over 25 years. We’ve searched in Manhattan -gone to the best salons and top barbers but no one ever got it right until we tried Saad. He truly is an experienced and talented hair artist. He is “simply the best”…and I think that’s an 80’s song :) —another one of his talents..

I decided to give Saad a try after reading so many glowing reviews. They are all true. Amazing experience. I asked him to do whatever with the clipper basically, the same thing Ive been doing forever. Instead, he asked if I would let him try something different with the promise of an incredible haircut, and he *totally* delivered. Its so different from what Ive been wearing the last few years, and more flattering, built around my hair and facial features. He explained what he did and how to keep it up, and offered excellent recommendations on scalp and self-care. He is truly an artist. Thorough and precise. On top of the cut, Saad is super friendly with a warm, helpful, and positive attitude, and I too thoroughly enjoyed the music trivia. I look forward to returning. Highly recommend.

First time yesterday at Saad’s. He was superfriendly and eager to communicate which he does well. He shared with me that he has 30 years of experience. It clearly shows in watching him work. I would have to say that Saad gave me the best haircut I have ever received in my almost 74 years! And at a reasonable price! He clearly loves and takes pride in his work.

Saad was so nice - it was my first time and I told him that I was getting married the next day. He gave me a free haircut even after I insisted on paying. The barber took me at last min call and was willing to trim my hair. He is great barber and knows the art. Prior to him, I had two bad experiences with other local barbers. I am glad the reviews help me, give Saads barber a chance. He is a great listener. Also, follows your direction well, with what you are trying to achieve. I gave this 4 stars because of appearance does need an upgrade.

Saad is a very talented barber. Understands hair textures and head shape and uses that knowledge to carefully craft his haircuts. He is also very friendly and entertaining to talk to.The reason I gave 3 stars is because he was less focused on what I asked and more focused on what he thought would be best for me. I asked for only a small quarter inch scissor trim in front, he went off with his clippers and took almost an inch off. The cut was good but it ended up being a lot shorter in front than what I asked.

As a Bard College student, I was on the hunt to find a barber up here after moving away from my old barbershop. Saad was recommended by a couple of other students and I only heard good things. Every single expectation was lived up to if not surpassed. Saad is incredible with his trimming skills, he gave me a beautiful taper and dealt with my cowlick better than any other barber or stylist has. He even went beyond that and showed me a few different ways to style my hair, as well as how to take care of it better. His passion for his work is clear. I will most definitely return.

Just had a haircut here -- best cut Ive gotten in the Hudson Valley to date, and Ive been just about everywhere in the past 4 years. Really appreciated the laid-back and welcoming atmosphere that Saad provides. This place felt like what corner barbershops were like in the past -- part of the community, family-friendly, and unassuming. Sure wish the other more well-known barbershops in Kingston could follow suit.

Yesterday I got my haircut at SaadsBarber shop. Ive never had a haircut like this. Ive gone to a lot of places but this is by far the best. Saad is an excellent Precision haircutter. Some artists paint with a brush but he uses his scissor and clippers.He told me it was going to be the best haircut of my life and it was.Hes a really fun guy and makes me feel very relaxed in his shop.

I brought my four year old son to Saad after I tried to cut his hair at home and seriously butchered it. Think 17th century child who works in a caoal mine. It was bad. Saad was warm and funny, he mentioned he thinks kids can feel good energy and bad energy and I think hes right. He put both my four year old son and my six year old son quickly at ease. He listened to my concerns (can we save this without buzzing it?!) and gave him a fabulous haircut that many people have commented on and that my son says looks just like the Bruce Wayne haircut he wanted all along. Saad has serious skills and his experience shows from the first snip. He has a wonderful eye for detail, truly, the man is an artist. The reviews dont lie. I was in town for a week of visiting my ladys family and a wedding on New Years. I forgot my charger for my oneblade at home, so I had to find someone to fix my beard and neck before the wedding. It is a snowy Saturday the day before New years eve, and the shop still started to fill up as I was in the chair. Saad still took the time to explain what he was doing to my beard, and it is very hard to find a good barber that can handle layering beards properly. Safe to say I will be planning on stopping by when I am in town.
