Overall very good experience despite some bumps in the installation process. Installation of central AC including 2 split units. Very responsive and on top of the issue until resolved. Excellent communication with Jackie Trinceri, who coordinated the follow up services. Also, their quality control technician Rick Ronda, was excellent in addressing some installation issues.

Jackie, came to my house to provide a quote on a mini-split system for my basement. Although, we did not use because the price was a bit higher than another company. She was very professional and helpful. not using JSP for the mini-split but will change over to them for service of my boiler next year when my current contract expires.

JSP is pricey but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and services. Trevor installed three radiators into our 1850s house in three days. He did so with such precision and care and was an excellent communicator. We couldn’t of asked for a more polite and courteous professional and easy to work with company that does what they say they will do. We now have beautiful and functional new copper pipes and radiators in time for chilly nights. So happy.

Unbelievably over priced.We hired JSP to install a sink that we purchased.The customer service team was very friendly and our plumber, Damon, was very professional and did a good job with the installation.However, the cost was incredibly overpriced.We went with JSP because we needed the sink install done quickly for our business and our normal contractors and plumbers were too busy to come out quickly.We were given an install date of Friday which was only 2 days out. We were told on Friday that their plumbers were stuck at other jobs and they wouldnt be able to come until Monday. This was when our original plumber could have come out but we had already scheduled with JSP so it was now too late to get our original plumber out. So we went forward with JSP.When I was given the estimate I was in shock that the cost of the sink install was $2849.84 (mind you we already had the sink and fixture- this was just an install). But we were desperate for the install so we went ahead with the job. I later called around and got price quotes ranging from $200 to $800 for the job.When I asked for an itemized list of the job costs to try to justify the difference of over $2000 I was told that they cant provide an itemized list because they offer upfront pricing.It still makes me sick to my stomach that we overpaid by so much.In a nutshell- customer service is very polite, Damon was exceptional at his job, but the companies pricing structure and lack of itemization to substantiate the charges is a terrible practice.

Always easy to deal with! Professional and know what they are doing. I’ve used them for plumbing and electrical issues ans the results have always been good. These days it’s hard to get home repair professionals to return your calls, let alone show up. It’s nice to have a reliable company.

JSP is the place you call when you realize that you get what you pay for. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best. I was hesitant to use JSP because a neighbor posted online that they were way overpriced but when we were in a bind and our Central Air system stopped working, we were given an outrageous quote from a smaller company. I called JSP and a few other companies. JSP was not only able to help me out quickly and professionally, but I found their prices very competitive and fair. The employees were a pleasure to work with. They were courteous, kind, and patient. We are extremely satisfied and will be doing business with them again.

Gus and Drew did a great job installing a ductless and full duct central AC, as well as put an AC atop a new furnace. This was a big job handled very well. I highly recommend JSP and Gus and Drew. I am to receive a rebate from my service provider but have not received it yet.

The past couple of years we have been using JSP for repair and maintenance of our Heating and Ac systems. Everyone that has come out to our home has always been professional, respectful and gave quality care.I recently had a new AC system installed.I spoke with Jason and Jackie several times who walked me through the process. They were both professional, pleasant and very informative with all our needs for our home. Andrew and Gus came out to install the unit and they were on time both days. Our technician Ernie was friendly and timely. He was responsive to our needs. Our job was somewhat extensive and he left everything very neat and clean.

A word of caution. Outrageous pricing for a standard, simple job.Had a JSP plumber come to repair a faulty ejector pump switch. It was a 2-minute diagnosis. He then took 50 minutes to create and quote me a few repair price options, ranging from $1,280 for just a switch swap to $2,800 for full pump replacement. I declined, but still had to pay the consultation fee since JSP requires it.Had another local plumber come in and repair it instead. The switch swap job took 1.25 hours and a $60 part, for a $300 total repair bill.JSP was going to charge me almost $1,300 for that same repair.I lost $125 on the JSP consultation fee, but lesson learned. Will never again ask them for even an estimate.

Installed new faucet and removed a foreign object that went down toilet. Faucet we purchased from another plumbing supplier they were able to install. That was great, THANKS!!!. RJ and Ryan did a great job. Both were good workers as well as listeners. They were fantastic and went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Although quite expensive we hired for sump pump replacement in a basement waterproofing system. Josh was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy when it came to decision of whether to hire JSP or shop around. We’re confident that we made the right choice, although higher priced than expected. We will be having other items/services completed with JSP.

Very professional. Charges were excessive though. Seniors on fixed incomes will have difficulty paying for services. Should consider Senior discounts. JSP should reevaluate target market. If upscale service is target then local service professionals will benefit!

Ernie and Sam came to connect some lines to the septic. They did a great job and went beyond the call of duty. JSP may have been a little pricier than some of the other quotes but the quality and reliability was worth it.

All of the JSP communication was very good. The plumber was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the price was so over the top that I probably won’t use JSP again. The call was to replace two bathroom faucets with new ones of similar design that I provided. I paid $1,038.53. If I hadn’t already waited a week because the original appointment had been rescheduled, needed the work done and had the plumber at my house, I would have canceled the service when I was given the price quote.*** Update: Based on the response below, I did contact the company. I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, they have not done so. Instead, my check was cashed, yesterday.*** Response: I still have not received a call back and I am going away next week so if you are truly reviewing this billing issue, please consider the following:1). Bryan was at my house for 5 hours; but he was not in my house more than 2.5 hours. The rest of the time, he was sitting in his truck.2) Bryan told me upfront that he worked slowly; but, I had never seen a plumber work that slowly. After he hadn’t finished installing the first faucet in almost 1.5 hours of actual hands on time, I asked him if he could pick up the pace. He finished the first faucet right after that and installed the second one in an hour.3) Bryan planned for complications in his upfront estimate; but, there were no major issues. He shortened the rod that adjusted the stopper on the first faucet; but, that isn’t complicated.4) The faucets came with new stopper pipes. Bryan chose to cut the old pipes out, rather than loosen the old fittings. It could have been done either way; but, it was easier to do it his way and reduced the risk of other issues.5) Based on the actual work that he did, the going rate of plumbing services in Ulster County, and the fact that I supplied the faucets and parts, the maximum that I expected to be charged was $300 + sales tax.

Ryan, evaluated the issue, shared the solution, offered the price quote and best of repaired the toilet with efficiency and professionalism. He was neat and tidy the whole time.

My experience start to finish with JSP was far and away my best experience with local contractors since moving to the Kingston area. Someone always answers the phone, follows up, and sticks to the scheduled meeting times. Jaclyn came out to give us a thorough estimate on the spot and she REALLY knew her stuff. She explained everything clearly so we knew exactly what to expect. Once we decided to book the install, I worked with Jackie in the office for everything scheduling and finance related, and I think we might be best friends now. She was incredibly easy to work with and answered all of our questions with tons of empathy. Every day before the technicians arrived (Mark and Andrew), we got a text message with their arrival time and a picture so that we would know who was coming to the house. My unit was 16 years old and compressor was shot. Had to order all new systems. Everything was explained clearly and different price options were covered. Temporary portable ac unit was provided until the new system is installed. Also purchased service contract for new system.

We had one of their comfort advisors out to give us a quote for air conditioning. His name was Randy I believe. As soon as he stepped in our house we noticed an overpowering smell of marijuana on him. (I know and understand it’s legal now but I equate this to someone getting drunk on the job) It was totally unexpected and quite frankly rude in my opinion. For the high quality company they claim to be that was not my experience. We ended up moving forward with another company as this left a bad taste in our mouths.

We are brand new home owners, and shortly after we moved in realized we had some major plumbing issues with our toilets... From the moment I called JSP, I felt confident we would be well taken care of, and we were! Austin came out and diagnosed the problem right away. Within two days he not only took care of the initial problem, but also may have discovered the source of our basement water problem. Before calling JSP, we had called other people to take a look at our basement and they all told us it was leaking from the foundation and that we would need to waterproof via excavation or B-dry. Austin discovered our well water tank was rusted and leaking and probably the main source of the water leak. Now we may not have to spend over $10k on something we dont need. In addition, Austin was professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and put us both at ease. His assistant John was super helpful and even offered to wet vac the water under the stairs in our basement for us. :) We highly recommend this company.

Had excellent diagnosis and advice from technician Ernest Williams who came to install our new washer and dryer. All new piping for hot/cold water and drainage to septic tank was required and done with great professionalism. In the process Ernie checked the septic tank with his camera to check drainage outflow and make recommendations for further examination of the septic field down below. Feel a very complete inspection was done above and beyond the main reason for his visit, the washer/installation. Calling the District Attorney Consumer Protection department. What a scam! They come out to give you an estimate that you dont even get a copy of. The cost of simple work that would not take very long is outrageously overpriced. And then when the price is questioned you are told that you still have to pay the $120 plus tax to come out to write an estimate. The estimate did not include any description just a number that I was shown on a tablet... is that what youre paying $120 for? 10 minutes of a guys time. And of course weve never paid that rate to have these simple jobs done. My husband writes repair and construction estimates for a living and he told the JSP employee that his numbers were extreme and in all of his 30 years of working in the industry he had never received an estimate of that high amount. Stay away from this company dont even call them Im surprised they dont charge you for a phone call. All the good reviews must be friends and family.

Shaun, a young man with old school work ethics didnt give up whilebattling a stubborn drain. He almost seemed to be enjoying workingwith his head and arms inside a 12x12 access panel to re-pipe aproblem he discovered. He was respectful, explained everything alongthe way, left the place clean, took pride in his work. Shaun likes his joband who he works for, that means a lot.

I inquired about our low water pressure (we have well water) with JSP. Bryan K explained that our water tank was perhaps 50 years old and the pressure gauge was shot. This was me, upon learning that my 6 year-old water heater had a hairline crack that could rupture any minute and flood my garage and newly-sealed crawl space. Ive lived through multiple renovations and am always prepared for that last-minute phone call that somethings gone wrong, the work is delayed, therell be an extra charge for this or that, etc -- it was actually shocking that the entire job went off without a single hitch, and in a matter of hours (other companies quoted me for a 3- to 5-day job!!). The combi unit itself is MAGICAL. It looks like it came from an alien spaceship and provides the best, most consistent hot water Ive ever had the pleasure of bathing in. And its efficient as all heck, which is why we opted for it -- no more dirty, pricey fuel oil or big hulking fuel and water tanks. We have 30% more usable space in our garage, and the thing will pay for itself within a couple of years.Bottom line: JSP is a great and reputable company, and Jaclyn Creavy is its crown jewel. Shes the #1 reason I would hire them again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. People like Jackie make the terrors of home ownership feel completely manageable, and trust me, a stranger on the internet -- theyre rare.
