I called to get a quote on having the differential gasket replaced on my 2000 Mercury Mountaineer AWD 302 V8. I told them I have the gasket and the gear oil. They said it would take 2 hours and quoted me 180! UNREAL. I have worked on cars for 37 years. There is a fill plug and 10 bolts in the differential cover. I can change it myself in 30 to 40 minutes. These people are crooks for sure!

Murphys did a great job changing 2 tires on my 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance. The service was excellent, price was in line, and the quality of work was outstanding. Chris is their Tesla guy and he is very knowledgeable.Highly Recommended!!!

Worst mechanics around. I called them and made sure of the price before I went. And called to confirm that 5 different times then tells me he cant do the job for what they quoted me and told me I was stupid for my knowledge of the location of the starter after I paid 200$ to get my car towed. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Absolutely amazing place. Cannot recommend highly enough. They were fast courteous and made sure my Jeep was running perfect. We have a baby girl on the way and needed a reliable vehicle and they provided that to us with making sure they made all necessary repairs.Friendly, efficient, and overall great place.

We had a set of Cooper tires (100% American) and brakes installed. Excellent, top shelf work and very competitive prices. I prefer a local shop and business anytime. Murphys Automotive is by far the best Ive dealt with. They even picked up and returned our car after installation. Very quickly too. 5 Stars. Definitely recommend.

I was down here from Missouri taking care of some family business when my truck had an issue. I was at the mercy of whoever would fix it since I was 650+ miles from the house. They asked what I wanted replaced as far as all of it or just enough to get by and as far as I can tell they did not charge me anything extra. It took about two and a half hours to fix on short notice which is really nice. I hate that we meet the way we did but I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for being fast and fair!

Unprofessional an slow. Had my grandmothers car for 3 weeks an called said it was running fine. Charged her 735 for nothing but more problems. also found SHOP RAGS in the engine of car after they worked on it.

This is long overdue. I was moving halfway across the country in late 2015. I had very little $ to my name and had just 2-1/2 days to make it before orientation started for a new job. & of course my car broke down. The repair was going to take far longer than I had to be able to make it to my new job & potentially cost more than I had... I got a call the next morning, they had already repaired it and at a very fair price (for a repair that never had an issue up until I replaced the car)! They went above and beyond what I could ever expect from a repair place, heck, even a business in general! Thank you to everyone there who allowed me to make it on time for a job I still have now!

My 2003 PT Cruiser broke down and had it towed to Murphy’s Automotive. These guys were polite and gave the prognosis of a blown engine. They offered incredibly reasonable rates for fixing as well as what other options would be. I decided to not fix it and they did not charge me for diagnostics as I had lost quite a bit on the car.Tldr; They were kind, considerate and with reasonable rates.Would recommend.

Went in for a scheduled tune up after buying a used car and was suprised at the level of service. All in all just needed a set of plugs but was very satisfied after finding out everything they checked in the short amount of time it took them. After they finished they took it out for a test drive and even used the paper floor mats to keep from getting floor boards dirty. Great service and great mechanics.

I cant say enough good things about this repair shop! They do excellent work for very fair prices. I made an appointment for a belt replacement, but it turned out I actually needed a harmonic balancer replacement, and they were still able to make the repair the same day and get me back on the road! Everyone in the shop was very friendly and they contacted me before doing any work on my car to make sure I clearly understood what repairs were being done and why. They also offer a drop off and pick up service if you live close to the shop, which was a life saver for me. I highly recommend this place for any and all repairs or routine maintenance to your vehicle!

Let me tell you why I like Murphys automotive. Im a small business owner ( gas piping contractor to be specific) and I depend very heavily on my trucks to get myself,my men and my materials and tools back and forth to our job sites and supply houses. When a truck goes down Im in a world of hurt. The guys at Murphys work very hard to get me back on the road as quickly as they possibly can which means the world to me. Down time means no work getting done which means no money coming in. Their pricing is fair and they are honest with me on their diagnosis of whats going on with my trucks. All the guys are easy to deal with and try to help you out as much as possible. I would reccomend them to any who asked about where to get a vehicle repaired.

Super friendly, fast service. We were traveling through from Atlanta and had a little car trouble. They got us in and back on the road in no time! Comfortable waiting room and clean rest room too!

We were on the road flat-towing our Jeep and we thought we had broke our transfer case cable. Murphys Automotive was recommended to us and I stopped in to get the Jeep looked at. It turned out the cable had just become disconnected. They fixed it on the spot and didnt charge us anything.

Great service and people. Went to get alignment done. They were very cautious with my car when trying to adjust tie rod that was rusty and didnt wanna turn. Instead of forcing it and possibly twisting it...they soaked it in PB Blaster twice and waited to finish the next day after they got their torch to the shop to possibly help. Ended up the lubricant worked great and rod turned very easily and they finished my perfect alignment. I will be back for anymore car repairs/needs that come up.
