I dont live in PA anymore but visit this location whenever I am back in town. (several times a year). Ive had several cerologists but all of them have provided high quality services and have been open to my feedback and preferences. The app makes scheduling, etc. pretty easy. I used to go to another chain but prefer the wax at Waxing The City.

I always enjoy my visits here. I typically receive facial services and have been serviced by most of the cereologists. The friendly and accommodating atmosphere have always made my visits such a pleasure. While the pandemic has made it difficult for the service industry, this studio has done well in managing the challenges. I am definitely a forever customer.

I have never seen a more unprofessional place. They charged me half the price of my service, because I had to cancel due to cold and during COVID times. Told me, that they did want me and their staff safe and I could wear a mask and go. Never going back.

Horrible experience again! Different company but another horrible experience. Insensitive and poor quality. I am sort of a newbie this will be my 3rd time but only had great results from the first lady at a diff company. She so in demand that I couldn’t get her for the time I needed her, so I decided to Try someone new, again! I was already nervous and still traumatized from the last experience. She applied the wax and I mentioned it was too hot, said “it’s ok” and continued to proceed. I was in pain and she had absolutely no patience and was quick to say how bout you exfoliate and reschedule. I said no, then she proceeded on, I still was is a lot of discomfort/pain. She then said how about I just do the bikini line and you come back in 2 weeks. By this time I was over it. Not just because of the pain but mostly because the lack of patience. I said ok, then asked if she could do the backside and She did. Afterwards, she left a little towelette and said clean up what’s left. Then she walked out. I didn’t know if she was done or not! I cleaned up what I could. Then I noticed that she left lots of hair behind at the bikini area. Smh…I just went ahead and checked out. I was scheduled for another appointment and was told it will get better but I doubt it. I’m not coming back to find out. When I got home, I noticed that there was lots of wax left behind. The struggle I went through getting this wax residue off was agonizing! If I had to wax myself, I would have never came to you!

So I called today to reschedule my appointment because I was feeling super sick.. for the past couple of days.. I called and they told me due to the fact it wasn’t in 24 hours which how was I suppose to know I would be this sick.. the lady said she would charge me 47 dollars for having to cancel my appointment and than I said okay that’s fine I’ll just show up sick if that’s the case because I wasn’t paying for a SERVICE I NEVER HAD.. so therefore they aren’t following CDC guildlines.. I work in the spa business and I was super disappointed with the lady that I was talking to she was rude and didn’t even give me another option.. which made me more upset was the fact she would allow me to come sick like we don’t have a pandemic truly horrible service

I absolutely love coming every month to get my facial wax! Its the highlight of my month. Go in and see Amy! She is such a gem; she takes her time to ensure a clean and smooth waxing experience. On top of the immaculate job she does, she is so sweet and relatable. You wont be disappointed. Also join the Orange Club, you get a reduced rate on the service (if you know youre coming every month which is what you should do to see the best results). After I leave I am so confident in my skin and I usually have SUCH sensitive skin and I dont even have any breakouts post wax. Highly recommend :)

Although Jordan did a good job while she was there, she left. I had two other waxers, including Amy, who did a bad job and left wax behind in personal areas. You’d hope when you go to a place that waxes you for a living, the staff would be good at their job. Do not recommend.

I showed up for eyebrows and ended with a full wax. It was extra clean. Covid friendly and the staff was very professional. Im very picky so I am surprised to say I give this business five stars and I have booked thru the year because spaces do fill up when services are that good. Sarah did a fantastic job during my first appointment. She took the time to explain each step and the result was exactly what I wanted. There were COVID protocols in place which made the visit very safe. I will certainly be back!

Everyone is always nice everytime I visit. Service is on time and complete.

Not great this time. I usually go every 4 months or so for a Brazilian wax with a landing or racing strip. The girl was young and it seems like they are hiring a swarm of new people but she waxed the whole thing bare and then blamed her mistake on ME for talking to her while she was working. Additionally, she waxed the same area more than 3 times and when it was clearly uncomfortable for me she stopped and said these were stubborn hairs and and just left them rather than plucking them. I just found it amazing that she made the mistake and instead of refunding a portion of the service she blamed me! I wasnt the only one talking cuz I can recite a few details that she was talking about but I wont. I will only go back one more time because I have a gift certificate but not to her and not after that. Its a shame, I used to like it there.

I really enjoyed my visit, everyone made me feel welcomed and comfortable., I look forward to my next visit. I drove all the way from Pottstown to this location. I would recommend them to anyone I know who’s interested in this type of service.

I have been going to wax city since the new year. My cerologist Grace is professional, knowledgeable and patient. I am very pleased with my experience so far!

Amy was the best. She made me feel so at ease and comfortable. Usually I tear up during a wax but I didn’t shed not a tear. She made the whole process simple and easy and took her time. I’m usually hesitant to go back every 4 weeks but with Amy I’m already on her books to return. Please book with Amy she’s wonderful.

Okay so... I’m not the type to really do reviews and such so bare with me. First impression was okay. Everything was organized and cleaned. Grace the receptionist was polite and took my temperature. And then Jordan one of the Esthetician’s called me and escorted me back to my room, she was very warm and welcoming... informed me of all of their protocols then after changing she came in and started doing her magic!! She is very nice and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend this place and best believe I’ve had my share of waxing places but this place tops it. I will definitely go back again and see Jordan ! Thank you Jordan !!!

I’ve been going to Waxing in the City KOP for over a year or so. I absolutely love the experience and I try to keep the same aesthetician each time I go. I get a Brazilian Wax each time I go. My last visit was absolutely breathtaking and I couldn’t have been more impressed. I had Sarah L. she has been there for 2 mths now a month when she did me and all I’m going to say is she is the BOMB.com. She took her time and she started from the hard area to the easiest area. She will now be my permanent aesthetician from here on out. I honestly didn’t think I would like her bc I’m funny like that. But, that’s my girl now and we now have to build a relationship.I honestly recommend you to make an appointment here because you won’t be disappointed ever. No matter who you receive service from they are all nice and pleasant and the atmosphere is just right. You can feel the positive energy when you walk through the door.

Another amazing experience with Waxing in the City. I loved the customer service Tammy provided at the beginning and end of my visit. Tammy called me and helped me reschedule my appt twice with no problem, at all. My wax specialist Gabby was very informative while being wax and after. Gabby is super nice and makes the most awkward situation not awkward and fun. She recommended products to me not to sell me but to genuinely help me better my skin. I am super picky when it comes to my eyebrows and have not been able to find someone to do them as good as I like. I checked out the reviews for Waxing the City and saw Gabby mentioned in nearly all of them so I decided to give her a try. I LOVE my eyebrows! I told her exactly where my problem spot was on my one eyebrow and she was able to wax and shape them to make them look as even as possible. The atmosphere inside is so nice, modern, and relaxing. I loved everything about my visit and will definitely be returning.

I dont know where to begin with how amazing Waxing the City in KOP is. Im not a picky person when it comes to who does my wax but with my experience of 4 different estheticians, I cant help but feel confident stepping into this establishment knowing that I will be well taken care of. I absolutely love how friendly and welcoming everyone is. All of the estheticians are knowledgeable and walk me through, step by step, with what theyre doing. There were times when I would need to add an extra service at the last minute and they were more than pleasant in fitting that in. Ive became an orange member and the benefits are so worth it!

Great people great service. The first time I went was great hair didnt start coming back in until week 4. 2nd time there which was 8 days ago and I already have growth. I paid a lot of money for the service and Im disappointed the 2nd time around. Everyone that works there is very friendly but sadly I wont be returning.

I started going to Waxing The City KOP a few months ago when they had a promo that caught my eye in the summer. I was scheduled with Addy. When I walked in for my appointment I was immediately greeted with a cheery hello and welcomed with a radiant smile from Tamica! I have to admit I was really nervous my first time because I have only ever gotten my brows done at various nail salons and this wax was a bit more intimate (full Brazilian wax) also, being a plus sized patron I was worried if the table would hold my weight. I expressed my concern with Addy and she assured me everything will be just fine and sure enough it was! Every time I go for my wax I feel like I am part of the family and we have a great chat with lots of laughs. Addy makes this experience very relaxing and comfortable and she does a great job constantly making sure I am okay and the wax temp is good for me and that she does a through job. Addy (and even the rest of the crew) are always so pleasant, the facility and waxing spaces are always clean and I look forward every month to my visit with the the girls! I have since referred my sister and bestie and they too said they had an awesome experience! I am currently a wax club member too which saves me some money not just on my regular wax but on products I purchase in the shop and on any new services I add! Who doesnt love saving some money! Cant wait to see you ladies next month!

I had the most amazing experinece. When I first came in, I was greeted by Tammy. She was super nice and made me feel welcome!! My wax specialist Amy was AMAZING!!! She is sooo nice and sweet and very knowledgable. I have very tough and thick hair and I am prone to ingrowns, their wax and products have reduce my ingrowns and the wax is much easier on me. I would HIGHLY recommend AMY to anyone and everyone who needs a waxing services .

Gabby assisted with my requested services and she is the bomb! Getting waxed is one of the most uncomfortable situations ever but somehow Gabby made it comfortable. On top of that she is friggin talented. In addition to a Brazilian, I also had my brows and lip area waxed and I was so pleased. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Tammy. Waxing KOP, has the best Customer Service Evaaa!!! I literally felt at home the moment I arrived to my appointment. I received a full Brazilian front and back wax about 2.5 weeks ago, no irritation no bumps. The hair is growing but it is really thin and soft and as smooth as a peaches fuzz.
