I took an appointment at 1 and I have visited that place 5 min before my appointment time, they made me wait for 30 min amd no one got back yo me, after raising my voice at reception, an old lady who is very slow at what she is doing routed me to another old lady who dont know what she is doing, this person who supposed to do my taxes is very weak in knowledge and going to ask someone for help when i ask a question. Moreover I feel the pricing is too high.If you have time constraint, dont go to this place.It took me 2 hours to complete a simple tax filling.#H&R Block

For many years HRB completed taxes in less than 2 hours but this year 5-DAYS. This year I expressed a preference for a contactless experience but I was informed they do not support 100% contactless experience only wearing masks, a plastic shield on the tax preparer’s desk. When I arrived There was no limit on the number of persons inside the facility (and it was crowded), or window sticker certifying Covid clean or that the ventilation system is “Covid-Safe”. I was informed I had to come to office to pay and pick up returns but after speaking to others who did 100% contactless experience at other H&RB locations I am disappointed. I took a star off because of my experience and 1 star because their system was not contactless even though I had the App.

Terrible at scheduling appointments. Even though I had a scheduled appointment I waited for an hour here and how come a walk in has more priority than an actual scheduled appointment?

Dropped off my documents and no one even looked at them in a week. They also couldnt tell me if they would be done on time when I only had three documents and then had already been there for days. It should have been the easy for them. I went to pick them up and take them elsewhere. I was having a problem with the app or I would have used that as I did the year before.Another woman said I different branch sent her documents there and she received a text about it. They couldnt find her documents at the time.

The service at the office was mediocre at best. The guy at the desk was ignorant and had no idea was what going on with his job! Also, I paid with two checks. One went through, the other did not. I had plenty of money in the account to cover them and no explanation could be given why it was declined. And furthermore, the office did not contact me that my taxes were completed. I had to find out and call for myself and on behalf of my mother.

Showed up for appointment and after I sat down, was told by preparer that he was double booked and asked me to come back another day. Was called for another appointment, made appointment for Monday at 7:30pm and showed up 3 mins early, preparer kept me waiting until 7:45pm. He was making small talk with the other client and even when he was told I was waiting twice, only came out to tell me he’d be with me after the second time at 7:40pm. Receptionist asked my name and didn’t speak to me again or look up at all. Was just looking mostly at her phone or computer

The tax clerks here are very incompetent. Charged me for the fees onsite and also took it out on my tax return. Now I have to wait for a financial officer to call me back so that I can have my hard earned money back from that they took twice... customer service on fixing their errors is very slow and long wait game

I like working with Beth on my taxes again this year but the KOP office has the worst mold I have seen in a long time. It bothered me last year but this year the mold in that office is worse and the spores have spread. This is unhealthy conditions for your employees and customers in this office.

Ive been a H and R Block customer for years. Ive went in, filed my taxes directly with the tax advisors there. Always had no issue, got excellent tax advice, pay them hundreds of dollars, and still continue go back. Why? Because I trust them. I have moved on to becoming experienced enough to do my taxes myself now online, while still using their software and paying their expensive fees. Regardless - I still have a question here every now and then. Ive always been able to walk into a local branch and have a question or two answered, before I file. My visits in the past over the years have been pleasant with H and R block local tax offices helping me out with no issue whatsoever - SINCE I AM CUSTOMER. However, this branch - for the second year in a row - is so incredibly rude, i will never walk in the place again. They treat you like crap. I cannot say this for everyone who works at this branch but the guy who wears the suit has made me feel like a piece of crap for asking for his help. Also wanted me to tell him my personal tax question on the spot, in the open, in the foyer. Said he and all of his staff had clients when there wasnt one person in the place (it is Valentines Day at night, im not an idiot dude). I dont know if its because im younger than he is or the way I look but his attitude towards me for the second year in a row Ive went in there to ask a question, has been completely unacceptable and disgraceful, and it makes me never want to go to another H and R Block again. I highly recommend any hard working, tax paying Americans who have questions or want to file their taxes to go to another tax office or if you elect to stay H and R block, stay away from this particular branch as my experience was horrible.

So I respond to an offer of 1/2 off & make an appointment on line with Thomas Marrollo the office manager, complete with a confirmation #. I drive 35 minutes & show up early to my appointment only to find that he left early. Who accepts appointments then leaves??? So Im set up with a woman. We sit down and the first thing she says is as long as you dont have rental property we should be fine. Well, I do & got up & walked out... Im not happy.
