Basement had flooded from storm and gotten mud all over the concrete floor. Once the basement dried out, we called them to deal with the dirty floor. They came out the next day and had it cleaned and sanitized within a couple hours for a very reasonable price. Would definitely use them again!

This cleaning experience was a nightmare from start to finish, and my carpet looks worse than it did before the initial call. I will need to replace it because their chemicals ruined it. I had 4 or 5 stains on my living room carpet that were right by the front door, and a few other stain in other parts of the rug. I scheduled Stanley Steemer to come to my home and clean the area rug and my bedroom area rug. When I setup the appointment I thought I was scheduling a 2 for 1 deal that I had seen in a commercial and on their website. What I didnt know, and was never told when I setup the appointment, is that deal was only for wall to wall carpets not area rugs. Their logic for that made no sense so I just told them to clean the living room. When they clean the rug the stains appeared to be gone, so I was pleased. In less than 30 days the stains were back, and then some, and it appeared nothing had been done. I waited a few months before calling them back. They had a manager call me, who was very nice but reminded me that they only guarantee their work for 10 days, and for good reason; it doesnt work. The manager agreed to have a crew out to clean again. They came and the stains appeared to be gone again, but within the 10 day window the stains were starting to appear again. I contacted the manager and another crew was sent out. Each time they sprayed something on the stains that seemed to make them go away, but whatever they sprayed it made the stains come back and added new ones. My carpet is a mess. This process started in January 2021 and now its August and I have a carpet thats and Im stuck with a carpet that is an eyesore (see the photo of what people see as they enter my home . I live alone, with no animals. Due to Covid, Ive had very few visitors, so these stains are not from foot traffic. Would not recommend their cleaning services to anyone!!!!

This is my second great experience with this Stanley Steamer team. My carpet and area rugs look brand new and my cream colored (side note - very poor color choice with 3 dogs) sectional is gorgeous. The guys were very professional and did a great job. I’ll definitely use you in the future!

This is by far the worst company i have dealt with. I had scheduled for them to come last week to clean the carpets. i moved around all the furniture so they have less to move and get things done faster. they came and said they couldnt do it since they needed a portable unit and that someone would call me to reschedule. I never got a call, so I called them and asked for another appointment with a portable unit. i reminded the lady on the phone three times that I needed a portable unit and she said yes. They came today, i moved all the furniture again so its faster and less work for them, and again they didnt have the portable unit. apparently the person that came said they came from another job and had the same issue. Its really surprising to me that a company this big cant even handle small issues like this. I am never going to be dealing with Stanley Steemer ever. I hope the rest of you do the same.a day later i got a call from customer service that they can reschedule for the same day and offer some discount. i was hesistant but gave a try. i got a text message that they are 8 mins away. 1.5 hrs later no one showed up so i called customer service, and they said, the person dropped the ball and didnt have anything else to say. good luck dealing with them for anything

I wasnt to happy at first when they started the job. I was getting two bedrooms, two staircase sofa, love seat and dinning room chairs done in my home. Well when the technicians finished upstairs in my bedroom I saw stains. Plural! I asked him if he could get these stains out and he said no. He told me that they are dogs urine stains and they are stains that CANT be removed. I asked him if he could please try again and when he did they began to come up and he seemed embarrassed. I wasnt happy about that. One other thing is that I have a flower bed outside which goes up my driveway. I saw there hose on top of the flowers crushing them. I paid a lot for this type of landscaping. Smh...

Easy to schedule and reschedule an appointment. Was able to come out within a couple days of calling.Crew was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Im a first time homeowner, and had lots of questions. He was able to answer and explain everything and gave his professional recommendation. I got my bathroom floor tiles cleaned. And asked for quotes on the tile walls and the kitchen countertops and were able to do all jobs at once. Due to the age of the tiles, there were some discoloration, but if I asked for a spot to be done again, he did. Extremely happy with the work. I am very happy with the work done by the gentlemen from Stanley Steemer and would recommend them for carpet cleaning. I have a dog and 6-year-old son, so my light gray carpets start to turn brownish after a while. I previously used a different local company that I thought did ok at the time. However after seeing how thorough these guys were in going over everything (and moving some furniture in the process), I definitely noticed a different in the results and will use SS again in the future.

Scheduling online was very easy. They showed up on time and finished our living room (which was large enough to count and be charged as 2 rooms) in about 40 minutes. They moved the couches and even picked up all of the random stuff my daughter had dropped under there to do a very complete cleaning. The off-white carpet looks great! Because we have 2 children, we got the carpet protection since this is the most used carpet in the house. Im hoping it will stand up well.

Super easy to set up an online appointment. The techs name is Marcus. He came and looked around explaining everything that he would be doing, asked about what I wanted to be done and answered all my questions. It took about 40 minutes total for him to do two rooms and my hallway.When he finished I went and looked around and he made sure I was happy! He had put down caution signs as well as some protective measures for my furniture as the carpet is still wet.Overall I’m so happy with my experience! Overall I give them credit for arriving on time and having an easy to use website. However, once they arrived it was less than ideal. They attempted to remove a stain and couldnt get it out, no big deal. The problem is they decided to deodorize the carpet despite me not asking for it or needing it. Other than the stain that had no odor the carpet was less than 2 years old, most likely this is an easy up-sell that they can tack on to the bill.Next, I only asked for one area of the carpet to be cleaned (the stain), but they took it upon themselves to clean a much larger area because its almost the same price. Again the carpet is less than 2 years old and aside from the stain is in perfect condition. By almost the same price they meant it is only slightly more expensive so again an easy up-sell despite the customer not wanting or needing the service.Worst of all since they hastily ran their equipment over the edge of the carpet that was tacked down the machine sucked the edges of the carpet off the tack and now I have to have it re-tacked.Stanley Steemer +1 for on time arrival, +1 for great website, but not so good at delivering a good customer experience once on the job site.

While the techs were very kind and friendly, they were late, which is aggravating because I spent the time waiting for them to have them come late. I understand that sh*t happens, and it wasn’t the techs fault and I didn’t take it out on them: but, I feel that it was the job of HQ to let me know this was the situation.

This past Sunday Stanley Steamer tech came to four rooms, stair & hallway. The young man (Ill call Shawn) was polite and courteous, and when questioned promptly assured me Ill take care of you. The result was the best carpet cleaning weve received yet from SS, and he worked alone. Upon completion our home has that Better Homes and Gardens look. This is our fourth year here and SS has continually provide us with quality service at a reasonable price.

Repeated trips to house to make good on incomplete work. No progress on remediation. Promise come back. Calling them repeatedly to come back and finish the work. I’d say nice people do not make up for poor service.

The tech was 2 hours late and would not do the work.He said it was too late in the day to do it.Also would not do the job I requested to do when I originally booked the appointment a week ago.I had asked the scheduler if this company provided the cleaning I needed and she said yes.I had also called yesterday to add on 2 more rooms and was told that wouldn’t be a problem.The tech said it was too big of a job.He said he would come back the next day at 9 am .But when he called the office they said he couldn’t do it for over a week..I called to try and schedule and was told a supervisor would call me back. I never received a call yesterday.Today I called first thing this morning and was told the supervisor would call me back.I have never received a call.I will never recommend this company. Poor poor service.I called a local company who came right out and finished the job by the end of the day.

Not all chairs were moved . Area between couches, closet and behind door not cleaned. There should have been more tha 1 cleaner so furniture could be moved. Plastic was not under all legs of chairs.

Had my carpets done. The gentlemen who cleaned them were on time (early!), professional and courteous! They completed the job in a timely fashion and went over what we could expect after they finished. I would recommend them without hesitation. WELL DONE!

The gentlemen were courteous and professional. I have no complaints about them. We had to use Stanley Steemer because no other company could fit a machine up our stairs. I dont really think Stanley Steemer is a good value at all for the price compared to the time it takes (very quick) and the fact that its hot water extraction not really carpet cleaning with brushes. I would only use Stanely Steemer if you have a very unique situation where other machines dont fit up your stairs.

The carpet is not ready to be walked on yet so I cant give an opinion as to how well the cleaning will actually hold up. With young grandchildren and pets I plan on doing my carpets once a year regardless. I will say that after he completed the job they looked beautiful and just like they did the day they were installed. I feel ready to start decorating for the holidays!

The service was of poor quality in that the carpet was not cleaned. The high traffic area at the entrance of my apartment and bedroom is still dirty and two spots near the kitchen entrance is still apparent. I would like them to return and do the job over, free of charge. I was not given any protected materials that I thought was included in the service.
