After discovering ukus in my daughters hair I frantically sent an appointment request online at around 7pm and within minutes received a phone call from them! The lady who did the phone consultation was so nice & informative, and her demeanor helped ease our anxiety over the situation and allowed our family to remain calm. She explained that there was no emergency to deep clean everything that night. The next morning we had our appointment and was treated by Keturah who was very welcoming, non-judgmental, friendly and soft spoken. It was nice that its by appointment only and we were the only ones there. She helped put my scared/anxious 9yr old at ease while she explained the process and all about the life cycle of the lice. The vacuum is actually a specially designed dehydrator that dries out the nits so they can never hatch. Keturah made sure to check in with my daughters level of comfort throughout the treatment. Keturah was kind and gentle, and as a mom to a sensitive child this was very important for me. The whole process took over an hour on short hair, and costs around $200 and is worth every penny to be 100% lice-free! This treatment not only kills the live bugs, but also is the only way to kill the nits too. If your child gets ukus repeatedly you definitely should take them to the Lice Clinic and have them treated professionally. Mahalo!

Berry and her crew are absolutely amazing. I was so panicked and overwhelmed and they got me in so quickly. I have crazy long hair and my daughter came is with amazingly dirty hair, we were a hot mess and I was totally spun out. They took great care of us. My daughter who is 6 and fidgety as can be was happy to sit there while Berry worked her magic, as their was a big TV with tons to choose from, guaranteeing a successful session. They had everything needed to help us continue a healthy regimen to safe guard against future instances. Worth every penny!

Zan was absolutely the very best! She was completely professional and very knowledgeable. We were visiting Maui for a 2 week vacation and our 14 year old granddaughter had contracted lice the last few days of school. Thankfully none of the rest of the family was infected. My daughter and I had a great experience here. The office was not only esthetically pleasing but also very clean and sanitary. My 2 yo daughter sat trough the treatment. Barrie let her choose a movie to watch and had lollipops on hand. I had tons of questions and she was very informative regarding the life cycle of lice and also on how to take preventative measures. The best part is that her products are all natural. Highly recommend.

Flew over to Kona for us ! We had been desperately trying to get rid of the lice for a month but between a 3 year old, 1 year old, mom and dad plus everyone bed sharing, it was a nightmare ! After weeks of treatments and combing daily to no avail we called them. They were here the very next day !! Best experience ! Very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Barrie knows her stuff! She was very prompt, professional and thorough. Her clinic is extremely clean. Her response time was fast. We found her clinic after having gone through one round of treatments with my kids on our own (which was excruciating, way too long and messy, ineffective and created some pretty unhappy kids). I wish I had known about her before trying to DIY. The whole process was fast and my kids got to watch kids shows while getting treated. The best part is that it is guaranteed for 30 days! Peace of mind for this mama! Worth every penny.

LOVE Barrie! She was so professional, kind, honest, full of information and accommodating! My girls and I left and said that we actually had fun at the Lice Clinic! I hope we never have to deal with ukus ever again, but the reality of growing up/raising kids in Hawaii (especially girls with long hair) is that it may and probably will happen. I can honestly say that I will never buy OTC products again...this is the ONLY way to go. Peace of mind is worth so much more than youll pay. So grateful!

I was so happy to find out about Lice clinic in kihei having ukus is a nightmare i tried many different things without success and when i heard the add on the radio i was relieved. It was very easy to get an appointment for my 2 girls and myself, the product that was used for the treatment smelled good and it did not itch at all like other products do the money i spend was very worth it. The staff was very welcoming and patient in answering the million questions i had, they were also very knowledgeable on giving tips in how to avoid getting ukus again. This clinic saved my sanity!!! A sobbing mother with 2 uku ridden children i had no idea what to do. Then we found lice clinic of maui and my whole day changed. What would have taken me weeks to get under control, took a few hours and WAY less stress!!! I feel so educated, as everything i ever knew avout how to treat lice was a LIE!! I was horrified finding lice in my hair! I panicked and completed an otc treatment of Rid. But i still couldnt sleep comfortably. Next morning we made an appointment. They combed out my 2 kids. (Age 2 and 4.) And they actually sat there nicely the whole time, thanks to lollipops and Netflix!  Mom got treated, combed out and educated about lice. Definately recommend Lice Clinic!! OTC cannot compare! Walking out knowing my family is lice free makes me feel good! 😍😘💓

Barrier is such a sweet person, if you dont know about ukus or nitts becuase you never had them before she will explain step by step on what it is and does. She offered the best treatment for if you do have it. And even if you are not sure you have it just go and see her. She will for sure tell you if you do or dont . She offers you best advice for not getting or ways to prevent it. She kind friendly and the environment is very comfortable.

We found ukus eggs in our daughter’s hair and really wanted to take care of it right away. Barrie accommodated us in the evenening when she usually didn’t work. The clinic feels like a chic hair salon, and our daughter got to relax and watch a movie on tv the whole time - instead of screaming and complaining like she would normally do when I combed her hair. It gave me such a sense of relief knowing that all the ukus were gone!!! Last time we came to the clinic after three repeated outbreaks, but this time I took our daughter to the clinic right away. Not having to deal with ukus over and over definitely worths the money! Thank you!

I was very sceptical at first because we have battled with these pest for a long time and have spent so much time and money to rid us of this problem and still ended up with no results. The best place and great people ! I never have to worry again with struggling to get those nasty bugs (ukus) out of my childs hair which can be so frustrating to get done on your own. We had the best treatment done at the clinic and left with totally uku free hair. Id totally recommend making an appointment with Sarsh if you have an issue with ukus she will end up being your HERO.

The Lice Clinic of Hawaii is a God send! As a School Social Worker I’ve needed to help find solutions for students with chronic ukus! Ukus are a pest but not a serious enough of a problem that should prevent a child from attending school! Yes, it’s embarrassing and seems like a mother’s worse nightmare, but Barrie and her wonderful, awesome lice clinic there’s a friendly, professional solution that’s FDA approved! This clinic is in Kihei and I wish there was one in the central area as well! Today they helped one of my families with 3 clients and ukus are gone! Tomorrow back to school!🤗
