This was amazing! Our experience was worth every penny. My son and I are very inexperienced fishermen. Captain Jon Jon wanted my son to have an awesome experience, and he did. We caught 8 different types of fish and my son caught a good-sized mahi-mahi. We had such a great time! Jon Jon was so patient with us, even when we made mistakes over and over and let some fish go. His knowledge was amazing. He was able to look around, assess the surrounding, and know exactly where to take the kayaks. It was just an overall amazing experience. If I ever visit Maui again, I will certainly beg Jon Jon to take me out fishing again.

I have been trying to write a review but words do not even begin to explain how awesome this experience was. I have never been fishing before and Captain Jon Jon coached me through the whole process! It doesnt stop there!! Not only did I catch the fish this morning but tonight I am going to be eating that same fish (that I caught 🤯) at Isana with some friends tonight. From sea to plate at its finest.

Went out with Captain Jon Jon twice, both time for pelagics Jon Jon has perfect set up for off shore fishing.. First time, big fish action all morning. Kaku, Kawa Kawa, big eye threw the hook at the kayak, best of the day was 18 lb kagami Ulua. Second time out was slow, but at last minute caught a 65 lb yellowfin. I may have been lucky, but recognized that Jon Jon worked hard to put me on the fish. Highest recommendation!!!

Had an awesome time on the water with Captain Jon Jon. It was my first time fishing salt water, and he made sure the experience was special. He continually put me in positions to get into fish and was an all around great guy to spend a few hours with. The Hobie Pro Angler 17 is the absolute best way to experience that fishery. When I go back to Maui next year, Im definitely going to be giving Jon Jon a call.

Fished with Jon Jon while out on Maui. We decided conditions werent optimal for bonefish on the fly, so we went out in search of GTs instead. What an AWESOME time. I cannot say enough about Jon Jon. It was like going out fishing with an old friend. He is the epitome of what a fishing guide should be. Professional, super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the local fishery. We hooked up and landed a bunch of amazing fish, and lost a monster after a 45 minute battle - leaving me with an unforgettable experience. You can bet if we ever make it back to Maui, that Jon Jon will be the first phone call I make when we start planning our trip!
