The amazing, thoughtful, attentive staff at FKOC helped transform a down on her luck, struggling single mother into a strong, independent, thriving Queen. Honesty, the staff gave my baby daughters and I, a family environment, safety and security, money management skills, community resources, holiday delight, I could go on and on about the countless ways staff helped me get by with bus passes and diapers whenever I was in a bind. I went into labor there!! The clients and staff, will forever be our family.
Thank you FKOC for your help. I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for you guys. Stephanie and Carolina. They took me in 10 years ago and help me get a job and housing becoming independent. Here it is 10 years later and they are still here for me. They help me with my utilities and food etc. During the COVID-19 crisis. Thank you so much .
I don’t even know where to begin! This place gave me the tools to save my life!In 2012 after being locked up for a long period of time, part of my sentence when released was a 2 year period at FKOC! I was locked up for my drug and alcohol addiction which led me to steal a large sum of money from my own family! I gave the program 110%and my Recovery ALWAYS came first!By the end of my 2 year period, I was asked by Miss Kaple and Father Tom to stay and work for the program! I accepted and stayed 3 more years! I worked in the mentally ill program, drove clients to get food Dr. appts etc and was third phase monitor!! God saved a wretch like me!!This program gave me LIFE and I owe my life to the program ! When I went there in 2012, I was lost ! I had no idea why God had even spared my life !! I was a POS!! In 2017 when I left, I was a totally different person! I was the man God intended me to be!Today, in 2020 I’m still clean and sober! I’m married to the love of my life! We bought a home together! I take care of my daughter! I have a great job! I drive my own car and I just bought my first Harley Davidson! I must boast in God, because without God, I am nothing!!So you ask me if FKOC works and I tell you NO!!! FKOC will give you EVERYTHING you need to succeed, but YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK AND GIVE IT 110% ! Truly blessed
Sobriety changed my life, i care for all staff and they care for all people in the program. I would share this path and journey to all equal of my path . and the community is growth as well.
Ausome
Do not go there its a total scam..there only out for money and gov funding the company makes like 2 million dollars a year off the hardship of those who are suffering from economic hard times weather it be unemployment or disability. They imposters scamming the public eye claiming to help the homeless. Its all B.S thanx for sharing good luck..
These people genuinely care about helping others and do all they can for as many people as they are able.
Good place to receive helpIf youre trying to stay sober
There ilegaly forcing people to lie on record to obtain temp housing. If someone looses there job then place to stay they will not let you in unless you lie and state u have some kind of drug or alcohol problem..I believe they only make money that way. Not the honest way.. corrupt to the core
They charge you between 85$ to 120$ a week make u do daily cleaning A.A meetings everyday of the week when though your not a drunk. Have a curfue cram you in a little overcrowded hot room with sick people and is u miss one assignment they throw u out. U have 15 min till the cops come so they can gobble up another intake Cash cow. What has america come to Lord help us.
Great help to my family and I. ❤
