I had an excellent experience with StorageMart on Stock Island. I needed a unit for just a few months while I got my house ready to sell. Carmen, the office manager was unfailingly helpful, accommodating and nice. I chose Storage Mart because, surprisingly, many of the other storage facilities in the area were not climate controlled! My unit was clean and accessible. Paying my bill online was easy. I was very pleased with every aspect of renting at StorageMart, and I would do it again.

Usually, Storage Mart people are not very helpful or attuned to customer service. However, I got very lucky today. Tim was FABULOUS! He answered all my questions and helped me make my payment. Tim gave excellent customer service and I really appreciated his help.

Carmen provided excellent customer service. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to answer my questions and make recommendations based on my needs. I would recommend this establishment for my friends needing storage.

Amazing clean location, Carmen was awesome, took her time to show me the options she had available. Unfortunately they were almost fully occupied and didnt have the space I needed. Highly recommend, great customer service.

Be aware that Storage Mart requires that trailers and vehicles be registered. Luckily I was able to find temporary storage with a friend while I registered the trailer. Once I got past that hurdle everyone at Storage Mart was very helpful and I got a great price on my parking spot. Ill be recommending Storage Mart to my friends in the future.

After waiting several weeks to get a unit and planning our moving plans around it, we show up to find the units full of active termites, they have cheap plywood walls. Not a good idea to put wooden furniture and paper files in an infested shed, especially if theyre going in to your new home. When we asked if they would spray they said it was too much trouble to coordinate with all the tenants....makes you wonder if the realize that its an open gable construction, when they swarm they get to everyone and theyre belongings........for $500+/month for 10x20 in a climate controlled building youd expect a great deal more.

Property is great, very clean. Man at the counter needs to try to stand up while explaining lease. I barely understood what he was saying.

Tasha was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. These days it’s hard to find good customer service experiences( nobody likes talking to computers). She had me up and running in no time. Thanks Tasha!

Reserved a storage unit online with receipts and screenshots. Show up to check in and they say the until is in a completely different location. No where on their own website does it even have a location six miles away. End of the day they had a unit available at this location but charged $40/mo more DESPITE even showing them the price list online that specifically has this address and pictures of this location. Sad they have to resort to lies. Gentleman in the office claimed the website says annex of which we brought it up asking him to show it to us and he said it should and refused to honor the price.

I reserved and paid for a unit online. When I went to look at the place and ask some questions, I was told my unit was at a location 10 miles away. Absolutely NOWHERE on the website, during the order process, or on the order confirmation was anything posted about the other location. EVERY address listed was the one I went to. The man in the office offered no help except to say he had no idea it was that way. I did get a refund, but it was a total waste of time and very unprofessional.

I made a ln online reservation at night, and I got an email confirmation with a price of $270 and first month free, in the morning I got three phone calls from them asking me if I was still interested, and I assured them all that I am interested and I need to finish a couple of things and pass by to see the actual unit and sign the paperwork, I got there by 1:30pm, and i was told that someone else booked that unit online and it was gone, and offered me another one with the same dimensions for a higher price over $300. Even though I showed the lady the confirmation email, she didnt even bother looking at it. My question is how come the other person also reserved online and they honored his booking, and not mine? And why would you call me and ask me if I was still interested, and confirm my price over the phone to change your mind later? Very unprofessional.Thank you for wasting my time.

Very pleasant staff, they showed me a few spaces that would fit my needs. I’m still not ready but I was happy they could give me a mental picture for my future storage needs.

Thanks Storage Mart. You stored all our household belongings for 17 months after hurricane Irma while our home was rebuilt. All of belongings were in perfect condition. No mold / very little dust/ no musty smell. No roaches!! Thanks so much for helping us out. Location is very convenient and staff was always upbeat and helpful. Awful! Its a shame to even give 1 star, much less any more money to this location. I didnt realize what time it was as I was going through my things and now Im locked in with no after hour contact possible. Tried to get to my stuff before the hurricane and had a padlock on my unit then though I had paid. Called to tell them. They took it off but locked the gate. It was prior to the mandatory evacuation. Bickered back and forth way too many times before they would when meet me half way with their satisfaction guarantee! Let me out of here! For good! Theres a storage unit just down the street that has 24 hour access! Im Omw!

I visited all storage facilities within the Key West area and the Best experience was when I visited this location. My mother and I dealt with a women by the name of Danielly. She had given us the patience and answered all the questions that we had.She took the time to show us what was available in the scorching heat without a thought of complaints. At the Key West StorageMart (Stock Island, FL), Danielli was extraordinarily helpful and professional. Not only was she comprehensive in confirming the reservation (and the attending paperwork), but she checked the unit for cleanliness before we began unpacking and helped direct us to the appropriate storage unit. There were no hitches of any kind and the experience was pleasant, better than any previous storage unit experience by far. I have no suggested changes for their business ... other than to clone Danielli or have her train other folks about excellent customer service.

Great location and hours. Great new owners/staff(since approx 7/2018).

Rented this climate controlled unit in stock island. Upon arrival saw there is one wall unit cooling the building with several different sized units inside. Which could be fine except mid move you realize it is so hot in the climate controlled unit you nearly pass out. Its also up a couple stairs so you have to carry stuff in and around a corner. Again if it was actually cool in there it wouldnt be a big deal. It is however cool enough directly in front of the wall unit for homeless looking drunks to hang out, pass out, change clothes and drink. So while moving you also get to deal with unwashed smelly guys hanging out and blocking any AC there might be.When I came back a couple months later, I couldnt get in because the hours had changed and they were closed by 215 saturday and all day sunday. This seems like very inconvenient hours to be able to access your stuff. Especially when it has a gate with code and your own lock.Last time (to move out of there) the gate was non operational, and there was only one guy inside changing.

I was renting a small unit here recently and left a review on yelp which I cannot find any more. So I am now leaving a review here because I want people to be warned about this place. The experience I had at Storage mart was awful. Upon signing the agreement Danielle told me if I left early they would pro rate my rent and I would get a refund. The day I left I had two weeks to go and when I went in to tell them I was leaving and asked for a refund Danielle advised me I had no refund coming because they dont pro rate out. When I reminded her that she told me when I signed the paperwork that they did she actually sneered at me and sarcastically said have a nice day as she pointed at the door! Every time it rained the main gate would not work and I would have to wait sometimes half an hour after they were supposed to be there for someone to show up and open the other gate. Also when it rains the whole outside area floods. The water gets 4 to 6 inches deep which I would have to wade through was totally unnecessary. All that runoff water stays trapped in there because of a large speed bump at the back of the property where the water is trying to naturally flow out and all they would have to do is cut a very small portion out to let the water drain. Also when I was there all the doors had been sprayed with red oxide primer and not painted at all which rubs off on you every time you touch it. All the other reviews I read that mentioned homeless people are correct. I had several run-ins with them panhandling me and when I tried to tell someone in the office they wouldnt be there during work hours. And yes they do stand out in the open and change clothes! Do yourself a favor stay away from this place. The so called staff there ARE nice and corteous until they get your money........after that you get nothing but the typical keys attitude....if you dont like it. ..leave.

Very unhappy 😔 I put items in a storage unit 547. Never understood that every rain it gets water in the unit. 2nd day its in water and I cant get to my cargo and electrical control. Mostly ruined and $5000.00 worth of supplies.. wished i never had used these people.. Not recommended by me and the sales people need to be more informative..Thanks for not taking care of your customers and Im gonna wade though the water to gather what I can.. FU

I pay $279 a month for 100sqft which is highway robbery. At that price my 600sqft apartment, which has running water, central AC and electricity with a kitchen costs less than this place. They gouge people that are between a rock and a hard place. StorageMart asked me to review them. I suggest that they dont ask questions that they dont want to hear the answers to.
