I have brought my car to Oily’s three times now over the past couple years and I am finally getting around to writing the review they deserve!Mike has been incredibly professional and kind throughout all my car repair experiences there. He has always helped me out when my aging Jeep Grand Cherokee needed work done. Great communication and timely updates during the process. A very trustworthy and dependable company, Oily’s truly is the best!

Great service. I had my check engine light and the oil light come on when I was in Key West for the weekend. A friend recommended them to me, after I had tried calling around to find help but all said they had no time to see me. Mike told me to bring it on in. I immediately liked mike (I usually don’t trust mechanics or am wary they are trying to sell me on something) and was thankful. I wouldn’t have made it home to west palm without him! I wish he was a little closer because I would definitely always go there.

From out of town. Had trouble with misfire in engine. Talked to Mike, and he diagnosed the problem, and repaired it. Got car back the same day. Honest pricing. Fast, helpful and experienced mechanic. Wouldnt hesitate to go back, and if lived here would be our shop for all cars! ...and the hubby loves the name too! Highly recommend. Would give Oilys 10 stars if we could.

I think Mike is just a down to earth mechanic who is willing to use his talents to the best of his ability to help people. Period. I am so impressed. Underpromise and over deliver! 100% recommended!

I have been having problems with my vehicle for awhile now and went to both Richards and Keys Auto to try and fix it to no avail.This is the only place that was able to properly figure out the problem and fix my vehicle. Prices are very reasonable as well.Mike was very professional and really nice. Im definitely taking my car here from now on.

Great service on short notice! We came down to key west for a mini vacation and our AC went out. The owner penciled us in, even though he was fully booked and closed on the weekends. This place is spot on and the owner Mike is very professional and courteous. He also suggested great places to grab a bite to eat!! Well done! Priced really well for a short notice mechanical fix!

Original date of service: October 29, 2015. Total cost of repairs: $598.When we arrived in Key West for the annual Fantasy Fest celebration two indicator lights activated on the dash.Oilys was one of the top rated auto service facilities, so I brought the vehicle there. They had several vehicles waiting for service, but Mike said he would do what he could to help me out. Within minutes he brought my car to the service bay and did a diagnosis, revealing a bad oil leak that ruined the alternator. Despite being backed up with work he said he would fit my car in (although a new alternator did need to be sent in from Miami, so the car had to be kept overnight). Within 24 hours the car was repaired and working perfectly. He also discovered a smaller leak from a valve cover gasket and wrote up an estimate to repair that (the gasket repair could not be completed in the time I had; we needed to head home the next day).Overall I was extremely pleased with the service and the facility. Its one of those places that doesnt look like much from the outside (though its decor does fit in with the laid-back Key West style), but the guys inside really know their stuff. Mike went out of his way to get my work done, despite already being extremely busy with other work (about 70,000 people come down for Fantasy Fest; Im sure it generates more than its share of business for the area). I will return to Oilys in the future when I need auto service in Key West, great job!

Had truck trouble while on vacation. Mike got me back on the road very quickly and at a reasonable rate. He knew I wasnt going to be a repeat customer from out of state, but his courtesy and speed to get me repaired was impressive. Would recommend Oilys to everyone.

While vacationing, our A.C. stopped working. Mike not only fit us in on Friday, but he was gracious enough to be very honest about our potential repair and did it at minimal cost. We were offered an air conditioned room to sit and ice cold beverages while we waited. He could not have been any nicer. We highly recommend Oilys Auto Repair.

Strolled in at 1:00 this afternoon and this small shop moved aside another job to get right to work changing my Jeep’s oil and rotating the tires. I love this place. Their prices are extremely low, the service fast, and the quality of work excellent. I had a side mirror replaced. He found me a used one, (in a quick 5 minute phone call) for just 89 bucks, and then only charged 59 dollars to re-attach it. I had gone somewhere else first. That place wanted extra time to figure out an estimate then never got back to me. In the future, Ill go to Oilys first.

Excellent service! I took my 2014 town and county in when the ac stopped blowing. I figured it would need a new compressor and would be an expensive repair but I was surprised when I was told it was just a relay switch or something and was less than $150.It was fixed the same day.

Honest, fair on pricing, did solid work, and communicated well regarding the repair to my AC and several other things. Easy to deal with and very accommodating with my schedule.

Despite the other positive reviews (why we chose Oilys), do not take your vehicle here if you are on vacation. We had an issue with our a.c. and we dropped off at 9am on a Monday. I was clear we were on vacation. At 1230p we we received a call stating there was a refrigerant leak (which we knew and told them when we dropped off). I said yes I know, but we need this repaired. I was then told we could be squeezed in in a couple of weeks! So basically between the two Uber rides and the diagnostics($110) we are out $180 And are driving home tomorrow with a family of 6 with no a.c. If you know you are two weeks out on repairs, why not just tell me this from the beginning. I called my mechanic back home and explained what happened. Basically stated we were taken for the diagnostic fee and to bring it in the day we get back and theyd take care of it immediately.

Honest mechanic! Checked two other places to get my work done, both tried to scam me (Im military, so they assume they will never see me again). Oilys got my work done quickly and for a third of the price the other places wanted. This is the ONLY place Id take my car in Key West.

In a town that is notorious for vehicle maintenance failures and lackadaisical attitudes, Oilys is a breath of fresh air. I have taken my 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport there multiple times for various reasons and he worked with me each time. Not only does he not charge Key West maintenance prices but he will explain to you what the issue was and what was done to rectify it. I trust that he will do quality work every time I drop my vehicle off at his door.
