My experience at Coin Laundry in Key Largo was wonderful. Dawna, the attendant was very helpful and accommodating. The laundromat was clean and well maintained. The washers and dryers worked well and cost less money to run than other laundromats that I have used in The Keys. Trust coin laundry and Dawna to meet your familys needs. π
A nice and affordable laundromat. Dawna is a super nice woman and very helpful.We went there to get our clothes washed and dried. One thing I would definitely like to mention is the clothes dryers. The driers are Huebsch and are propane powered and made our clothes toasty. We set the dryer on high heat and inserted five quarters for twenty minutes, then left the laundromat to visit a neighboring shop and came back and our clothes took lightning fast to dry.I definitely recommend Save Coin Laundromat.
New owners this year Clean, cool and fast. Washers I used were $3.50 and did a good job. Dryers get HOT watch your clothes, theyre done fast! The lady working today was quite helpful. Midday, not too busy. Love the layer hours! π
Just wanted to start off by saying people like Dawna are far and few in between. We own a vacation rental nearby and have been doing our laundry here for years. Every time we come in, she never fails to put a smile on our faces and asks how she can help in anyway. No matter the time or day you can always count on her to be more than gladly to help. She is extremely attentive to everyone in the laundry and is always the first one to help. Today was a very special circumstance. I had a medical emergency and fell unconscious for 2 minutes Dawna was the first one to see I needed help and ran to me. She brought me back to consciousness as well as calling me an ambulance. She stayed with me the entire time until she saw I was in good hands with the paramedics. It is very hard to find someone so caring and so selfless that will go out of there way to help someone like she did for me. Not only that Dawna truly takes pride in her job and always go above and beyond, you can tell she really cares about making sure her customers are always well taken care of. She is a very special person and she truly is the heart of this laundrymat.
My family and I are currently in Key Largo for vacation and needed laundry done so our hotel recommended Save Coin. It was clean and quick! But, more importantly, Dawna was an absolute pleasure. She was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. I left my laundry there to run a few errands and when I returned, she was folding my laundry from the kindness of her heart. I know I should be reviewing the location (which I give 5 stars) but Dawna deserves 10+ stars for her character.
Mrs. Dawna is one of the main reasons I continue to go to Coin Laundry! Not only do I get to do my laundry but have made a great friend along the way! I enjoy Dawnaβs friendly attitude and our conversations while waiting on my clothes:)
When I leave home I get upset that I have to leave the comfort of my home to do laundry somewhere else. I have had to seek Save CoinΒ services as I did once after Irma.I walk in I am immediatelyΒ greated by Dawna, she is welcoming, attentive and a pleasure to talk to. She makes it very comfortable and is always keeping up w/the cleanliness of the place. Always has a smile, good topicsΒ and she acknowledges all customers as they walk in.I highly reccomend this place to anyone seeking this particular service. This place was amazing. I came down to visit my dad (whose dryer broke), so I came to Save Coin. I used about 6 machines and the woman at the desk, Dawna, was SOOOOO helpful. She showed me how to do everything, even noticed before me when the water didnβt drain completely out of my commercial load, and she helped me move the clothes and set just a spin cycle for me. She was running around answering everyoneβs questions left and right. She was beyond helpful and friendly... great customer service! I would prefer to do my laundry there than at home π

Excellent local laundromat for Motor home people like us and they do wash and dry by the pound.
Very poorly maintained equipment. At least half of the machines are broken or deficient.
Our wash was always correctly washed, dried, and nicely folded by evening or early the next morning. Def the place to get wash done when your vacationing.
Stupid rule βcanβt just dry your washβ have to wash and dry.... dryer at home is broken. Thanks people but we found a better place to support.
The washers work great the dryers are hot and the people that work their are friendly and helpful. They know the island you can get all kinds of great info on things to do and see. Every time I come to Key Largo I have to stop, say hi and get some clothes cleaned.
Great facility, smaller than what Im used to but felt right at home with the beautiful poodle walking around. The owners were really nice and its great to feel welcomed when from out of town and your 1st day in town, 4/14/2019, you need a washing machine because your pup fell ill in the car. Im sure our resort has laundry facilities but because of the welcoming smiles and it was too early for check-in, Ill be returning with every visit to Key Largo.

Worse place to dry or wash clothes i was literally told by management that I couldnβt dry clothes without washing them at this location. Wouldnβt suggest nobody to dry clothes or even wash clothes here! I had payed for my chef jacket to get dried and she literally said if I donβt wash my chef jacket there I canβt dry it there. Itβs a laundry mat!!

Stopped yesterday to wash a comforter. Enjoyable experience and liked that there was an attendant-possible owner- there so I felt comfortable leaving and coming back to dry. Clean and love the paintings inside. Man working was very friendly and his dog is cool too!
Plenty of machines. In and out in less than 90 minutes.When I walked in the door with three bags of laundry I was greeted with a smile and a push cart to use. Attendent was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Thank you!
Very clean, owner was friendly and helpful. Brought cash and he gave me quarters. Had soap and dryer sheets for customers to buy. WiFi was high speed. There was a dog hanging out in the shop that was cute and very friendly. Iβm allergic to dogs but didnβt have any issues with this one (I think the breed is hypoallergenic).
The owner of this place is the most obnoxious person in the world. He is demeaning and loud and orders you around where you can put your laundry and has started not allowing children in there because of the virus- children from this county and who have not left the state, but allows all kinds of foreigners and traveling people in there. If you dont want children in your place, then put a sign up. I only put one star in order to post this but they dont even deserve that. He has a big dog in there and animals are the biggest carrier of this virus. In fact, this disease comes from animals.
Horrible! Google says they close at 8pm tonight (Friday) and I went in at 6pm and the owner turned me away and said the last wash is at 5:45pm. Thatβs so lame and heβs so arrogant and now I know why there are so many bad reviews and they all say the same thing. Heβs rude as well as the lady. I guess itβs his wife. Do yourself a favor and go to Islamorada Coin & Drop off. They did my laundry once and it was perfect and a very easy and pleasant transaction and I am here again now and walked in around 6:20 and asked if I can still do my own and the lovely lady said absolutely and itβs almost 8pm and Iβm still here and they closed at 7pm! Now THATβS customer service!!!!!! This guyβs place is a joke and he thinks who the heck he is because heβs the only place in Key Largo I guess? Take your biz elsewhere. I canβt imagine what people do who have to work in Key Largo. I detest places like these. Customer service has become a rarity!

Great place, a little pricey but good service
Just to let people know. #1 if you dont wash, you can not dry. There are signs on the door. 2# if the laundry attendant is taking your clothing out of the dryer there are two reasons for this. One, your laundry must have stopped in the dryer and others are waiting to use it. And you are not noticeably present. Second, the reasoning behind shaking the clothing out is so when its in the basket and its cooling down it wont wrinkle.
We have been using their laundromat now for a few months. Is kept extremely clean, Keys mottiff on the walls, great equipment and the lady who runs the place is an angel, feisty but extremely helpful and sweet. Every week has been a great experience
Beautiful and clean. Management was very responsive when dryer damaged my nylon shower curtain. Avoid dryer 9 with its 7 exposed screws from a drum repair. If not for the exposed screws I would have rated 4 stars.
Only place where doing laundry doesnt feel like a boring chore, employees and owner are always nice and take time to talk to you as if you were their lifelong friend. I was short a few dollars to do all my laundry before and they allowed me to finish free of charge. I will always recommend anyone in upper keys to wash laundry here
The people here are very friendly! I left my purse at my campsite and the older woman kindly offered to spot me the money to start my laundry while I went to get my purse. Clean and cheerful atmosphere here.

Had a terrible experience the lady that has the thick accent extremely rude. Heard her over and over be rude to customers until it was my turn. She started taking my laundry out of the dryer as I was standing just outside the door I walk in to find the whole laundry mat full of people watching as she shook my clothes out in front of the whole crowd. No apologies shes oblivious and since noone cares I will not be returning to this establishment. Prices are a rip off.$9.75 for 16 minutes for a big washer its $4.50 in Homestead so guess what its no skin to go as I pass Homestead . Its easy not to care when you think your the only game in town. Thats why Miami is coming for your business.
I had a really bad experience here .I have been washing my clothes here for over 6 months and yeserday I came back in there after I had washed my clothes there the day before and I hadnt got them dry enough but I didnt have time because I was late for work so the following day I come in to dry them up a little more and the lady inside through a fit and said if you didnt wash them here you cant dry them .I tried to explain the situation and she eneded up yelling at me saying this is our policy and if you dont like it you can leave. I told her it was very rude how she is handing this and she attempted to weigh my clothes and told me it was going to be around $50 to re wash my clothes and for them to dry them. I will go to homestead before I ever return here. This is not the way to treat locals. No wonder there isnt many people ever in there. Avoid avoid avoid!!

RUDE. RUDE. Poor Customer service. My dryer went down and I had some clothes to dry. They ran me out. They said if I didnt wash them there, I couldnt dry them there. So instead of making money from me drying there, they made nothing. Not smart. The person there just pointed at a sign and then ignored me. Im a local and Ill never set foot in there again. How rude!

The worker and the owner treated my wife very badly yesterday. Our washer and dryer was destroyed in the hurricane Irma storm... We really needed laundry to be done. Well in the end my wife was forced to leave with laundry half done. She could not believe how they treated her!
Laundry is $3.50. Dry is $0.25 for 4 mins. The place is very clean with lots of machines. The woman is a bit grouchy, but she does laundry all day. What would you be like ? Next to a CVS and Thai sushi place.
