Amazing detailed work. Out cat was docked in Key Largo, and barnacle growth is very “healthy” in the keys. We lifted the boat this week and, you can see how clean the hulls are one week after a cleanup by Bottoms and Props. Highly recommended.

After those failures I found Bottoms and Props and have been with them for approximately 10 years. They are professional and reliable, difficult qualities to find in The Keys. Fantastic service. These guys are the real thing down in the Florida Keys . They have been servicing my 32 foot whaler for several years and have always been terrific. We dinged our prop about 1:30 PM going through Steamboat Channel and I knew we had a bent prop when I dove on the boat in Cotton Key Basin. We googled “prop repairs near me “ and Bottoms and Props was the first choice that popped up. After a call to Brett we were convinced he was our best option. We got a slip right there at plantation yacht Harbor Marina and Brett had the prop off and on its way to his shop (Pro Tec) by 4:00 that afternoon . Jenny at Prop Tec was in touch with me the next morning, the prop was reconditioned and back on the boat before dark. We are very pleased with the service it was fast and reasonably priced.

Excellent experience and customer service. Been boating many years and pretty much got used to mechanics who are rough around the edges to say the least. Called Bottoms and Props on advice of a friend and Brett picked up right away and expeditiously helped coordinate my repair. Our boat is down in the keys and we only visit on the weekend so I was a little worried about not physically being there to pay. Thankfully these guys have a streamlined process. Brett set me up with Aaron who walked me through everything he was doing and was kind enough to test the boat and text me when he was done. I have to say hands down the smoothest interaction with a boat service company I have ever had! Will definitely use them again.

The only company I trust to take care of my vessels like they were their own. They are timely, courteous, and detail oriented...tough to find hard workers like this in the Keys!

I run a marina in the Key Largo area, and this company has placed chains around props of boats that refuse to pay for work they did not authorize to be done, lie directly to customers of work completed and billed for, and sells zincs of a higher grade for a much higher price. And the owner of the company does become confrontational when confronted about these types of issues.

Bottoms and Props provided excellent and timely bottom cleaning service along with great customer service. I will definitely use them again.
