They did not uphold the agreement made during a deal when purchasing a pistol. Only after a deal was made, cash exchanged and background passed did they then remove an adapter rail that went with said deal. The option for buying said pistol was with or without the light attached. I made clear and made an offer for it without the light (as noted on the sales tag), the adapter rail (that was only tangential to the light) was removed after the deal.This dishonesty about not upholding the deal is pathetic. I had been going to this store for 3 decades by now, at this point I will never set foot in their store with their slimy, nickel and dime dishonest practices. I encourage everyone to avoid this business.

Bought an AR, When I picked it up I opened the box to make sure the magazine was in the box and the top half of the rifle was stuffed under the protective portion of the lid, I didnt pull it out to look because they had other customers. When I pulled the gun out at home the rear sight wasnt there anymore and the entire front sight post was gone and replaced with a standard gas block, Sold me one option ended up with another, and this was no accident because you dont remove pieces for hahas and high fives.

Moved here 3 years ago and have had multiple repairs done on my jewelry, every time, perfect, friendly and helpful and really nice people, I am looking forward to exploring all of the store!!

I found the staff most helpful. They maintain a wonderful inventory for whatever you are looking for. The manager spends most of the day sourcing Ammo and guns. Just a wonderful place to look for a holster, a knife, ammo and all things guns. If they don’t have it, they will find it for you. Great store!!!

Honestly my favorite shop in town for bullion and usually has the better prices they are very nice and helpful would recommend for sure

Had a good experience there and will go back. Bought an AR that was underpriced in my mind. Also bought 2k of the 5.57 ammo. Wish it was much cheaper but I think we must be so armed that the Dems are afraid. It’s the same as a nuclear war. Too much to loose including your life!

This is a firearms shop being run by and staffed by gentlemen in the best sense of the word. They are there to HELP YOU find the RIGHT firearm FOR YOU, NOT just the most expensive gun they can sell you.This is HIGHLY RARE and nearly unheard of in ANY business! This is a FAMILY business that will probably be open for *generations* in my opinion. If MY OWN MOTHER wanted to purchase a firearm, I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM sending her there BY HERSELF and KNOWING she would go home with the right firearm for her. I cannot give higher praise for ANY SHOP!

I first visited this store in May 2019 and was pleased with the young mans help and attitude. I had been shopping for .45gap rounds and this store had 6 boxes on the shelf. Told him I would be back and would buy all them if the price was right. Today I visited the store with some new people I hadn’t seen before. The 5 boxes were marked $35 for 20 rounds which is a bit higher than normal and another box marked $27.95 for 20 rounds. The guy assisting me told me it was $240.31 for all 6 boxes. I quickly did the math and questioned him on price. He said the boxes were $37 each which totaled $222 plus tax. Even though the price marked was lower he insisted they were now $37. I told him to keep the boxes for another person that might want them for that higher price. I had full intentions to not only buy the ammo but next month a new one rifle(P90), along with lots of ammo. Not only will I not shop this pawn shop again, but wouldn’t recommend to anyone

There was an older gentleman employee who could care less about you if he doesn’t know you. Also they didn’t have much knowledge when it came to paperwork.

I had use youngs for a FFL transfer a few times and never had any problems. One day I went to pick up a gift that I had bought for a family member. When I was filling out the form to receive my gun there was a clerical error on my license that i had never noticed before with my address. The heavy set older man with slicked back hair. Proceeded to scold me like a child over ther error. Asking me to spell my own a address. If the gun I bought wasnt a gift I have told the make to go Eef himself and to sent the gun back so I could use some one else. He was very rude the whole time I was there and acted like I was such an inconvenience to him. I will never ever give one penny more to that place. Not professional at all I would never recommend a place like that to anybody who would have anyone like that on the payroll. DO NOT GO HERE!

$1.00 per round of 5.56 is astronomical at best and price gouging at worst. Even during the covid scare, you can get the same stuff at ACE hardware, KNS, or any number of places for half that price. Steel case not much better at $0.80 per round. I understand the tennants of supply and demand, and that a privately owned business can charge whatever they please. However, I would think critically, if theyre willing to charge you double on ammo, probably not a great place to shop for anything else.

Very knowledgeable and helpful people. I had a problem with a gun I purchased and they helped me resolve it without any hesitation.I think their firearm prices are fair. Sure you could spend the time and gas to try to save a few dollars but I got better things to do with my time. Also people need to realize the overhead a business like that has. Rent, insurance, payroll etc...I do not mind supporting a local business especially when they care about the customers.Will be back for sure !

Young guns is selling 5.56 for $1 a bullet apachie rifle has it for half that price. I called asking youngs if they would match the price snd eric started yelling about how their the only ones with bullets and other bs. Theyve lost all my business. What a pos.

I went looking for an engagement ring and I asked to see a ring that was in a case where Lavisa was showing another customer. She looked at me and in a condescending tone said “I’m with a customer right now”. I understand when people are busy but we were the only other people there. Luckily, Nick came in to save the day but after that first encounter I wanted to leave immediately. Moral of the story, don’t give people business if they treat their potential customers badly

I was recommended by a colleague to make the drive to Kerrville to Youngs. I had been looking for a particular firearm that was no where to be found in San Antonio. Not only did they have it in stock, but they had a few variations of what I was looking for a the best price I could find. The staff was very helpful and suggested things I would have never thought of. I will be going back and recommend them to anyone.

Very cool store, something for everyone, guns jewelry etc. The owner apparently is a certified Rolex tech, and was very friendly, out talking to customers. I think they are about to open a new storefront as they seem to have outgrown this one. Add this place to your hill country trip schedule, worth the stop.

Purchased a Colt 1911 from their showcase for almost $1000.00, would not auto-load. Had them send it to Colt for repairs and they refused to pay the 109.00 repair bill. Said “you would not expect a warranty from a gun show” Would not buy flip from them.
