I am a contract employee who has been working with divinity for several months now. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The company is professional and caring towards employees and the families they service. I have seen countless times where employees go above and beyond to help each other and families out sometimes on very short notice. It is a privilege to work for a positive, strong Christian organization that works tirelessly to serve foster kids and families.

Doing research after reading some of these reviews I had to speak w someone at Divinity. They pay for background checks and have a HUGE support system to aide the families in prepping for the Foster Children. Clothes, beds, furniture, toys, school supplies & etc. Their goal is to place a child into a SAFE/HEALTHY/CLEAN environment. Every one of their staff members go the Extra mile to care for these families transitioning into a Foster Home. I am very impressed with this being a NON PROFIT agency. They are working thru very difficult times and still thinking about the children first and foremost.

Always 2 sides to a story. I have enjoyed working with Divinity. Moments like this can be stressful but I appreciate all the effort their staff does to serve those in need! Ty!

I do not recommend Divinity Family Services for anyone that wants to Foster Adopt children.We were licensed through Divinity Family Services in December of 2020 because we wanted to Foster Adopt 1 or 2 children in the 8 to 12 age group (One boy and one girl) so that we could provide a sibling(s) for our 12 year old daughter and to help some children get out of the system to have a nice home and to have a loving family. We went through all of the paperwork and training required to become licensed and waited 5 months before they found the first possible children for us. However, everything fell apart for getting any children because we work full time. Apparently, in order to bring children into the home at least one of the parents cannot be working in order to care for the children 24/7. We just dont understand why this was not told to us during the time when we submitted the application form that even asks about our employment status and hours. We ended up closing our home after 6 months of waiting and trying to get children, we never even had one child step foot into our home at all. The whole process of doing all of the paperwork and home visits by multiple Divinity staff was a waste of our time. Plus the loss of around $500 for the background check process, mandatory training, and multiple items purchased to prepare our home for children. If we knew from the beginning that our work schedules would be a problem for getting children placed into our home then we would not sign up with Divinity at all in the first place.

Shevawn took my original pets shot records, scanned them and destroyed my originals then lied about. Shevawn had the nerve to bold face lie even with the text messages showing my original records were in Kerrville per Shevawn text messages. The office in Kerrville is now denying ever having them despite messages showing otherwise. This company has shown that integrity means nothing to them. I DO NOT recommend any company without morals. The officers of this company will be notified with civil suit for destroying legal records!

I would warn anyone of choosing this agency. At first I thought they were great, but ultimately they will save their own reputation over working with their families.

HORRIBLE TOOK 5 SIBLINGS I HAD IN MY HOUSE SINCE JUNE 20TH.TAKING THEM 10/31 BECAUSE I FAXED OVER PAPERS ON 10/26 TO SWITCH TO BAIR FOUNDATION... ALSO WILL TELL YOU THEY CANT TRANSPORT NOT TRUE ITS IN THEIR CONTRACT WITH CPS.. ABOUT TO SEPARATE BROTHERS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A ISSUE WITH ME... I HAVE 3 KIDS IN DIAPERS INCLUDING A 4 YR WITH AUSTIM NON VERBAL HAD HIM LABELED AT BASIC I HAVE A 2 YR NON VERBAL BASIC AND A 15 MO WHO AT 11 MOS COULD NOT SIT OR STAND OR CRAWL ALL BASIC... OLDER 2 SIBLING TESTED POSTIVE FOR AUSTIM AND THEY ARE LABELED AS BASIC... PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.. THEY ARE UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL.. WITH SOME PEOPLE NOT ALL.
