From our first meeting with Ben to our final install of French doors and windows in our master bedroom and new roll-out kitchen windows, we could not be more pleased. The installers were professional and friendly and here when they said they would be. Our new door and windows are top-quality and beautiful - they appear and function exactly as we expected. Outstanding experience! From the first time that I contacted them and throughout the entire process, not only was there no pressure to buy, these guys simply didnt try to sell. Totally different from every other window company. Their focus was on making sure that they understood what we wanted to end up with. In addition to the high quality windows (they sell Marvin windows), what made the difference and ultimately led us to do business with them is that they went to great lengths to reproduce our existing trim on the new installation. Everyone else just wanted to wrap the old trim. Our old windows had a pronounced wide trim with unique grooves and profiles and we didnt want to lose that. These guys took multiple visits to measure and photograph the trim and came up with a plan to replicate it. It took almost 2 months and multiple meetings to walk through the planning process and devise a good solution for the trim. All of this was before we placed an order or paid any money. The installation crew was easy to work with and very meticulous in their workmanship. The finished work looks great. We are very happy with the results.

Had them replace a window, they did an exceptional job. I could not be happier with the window, installation, or service. They went above and beyond with making sure everything was done right. Will definitely be my go to company for any other windows or doors going forward!

Replacement of three sets of doors. Superior service from the first meeting to talk about what they would recommend until they finished sweeping up the patio.These were 3 sets of doors 9 feet tall. One set went from our bedroom to patio and 2 sets were from our dining room to the patio. Marvin has a great product! The installers were excellent and easy to have in our home. They helped move the heavy furniture out of the way and put it all back. Used plastic to contain the work area and were very neat. Highly recommend.

Of the four companies (including local and national competitors) who I talked to or received bids from, there is no question that Ben and the rest of the team at Salem Windows & Doors stood out from the rest. Ben is a great salesmen, but by that I mean that he was a pleasure to work with: he was patient and genuine at every step. It was so great to be working with the company owner.As soon as I understood the landscape—window salesmen are mostly local reps for regional or national companies who just process orders—I would have been willing to pay a premium for professional service from a local company like Salem Windows & Doors, but I actually ended up getting a better quote for what I needed from Salem than from the other companies, in part because of Bens superior knowledge and efforts to get me the best deal for me. The Marvin windows that they installed for us were great quality—better than the options I had from other vendors anyway.I particularly liked that they have a dedicated installation team: other vendors told me theyd assign a contractor from their approved list, but I knew that meant I would not be the contractors real customer. Jim and the rest of the installation team was clearly trying to take care of me and my project to the best of their abilities.There are a few projects around my house that we didnt get to this time, and Salem will be my first call when were ready to move forward again.

Ben personally came out to view the project; promptly provided a written and very detailed estimate; discussed options to adjust the project; and provided a detailed revised estimate. Then he returned with Jim the installer to be sure that the installation could be done in the space provided given the age of the house and configuration of the existing windows. Windows were delivered within the promised time frame and installation was easy to schedule. The installers were neat, professional, and detailed in their work. Ben was always immediately responsive to any questions I had. Great company. Great service. Great install. And, NO pressure! Highly recommend.
