Let me start off by saying that I am a perfectionist, so I needed someone with great attention to detail. Prior to calling Joel, I called ~5 painters in the area and never even got a call back for a quote. Joel answered my call and came to my place the next day to give me a quote. I asked him to paint the entire interior of my house, including walls, ceiling, closets, and doors. Him and his team finished the entire job in one week and the quality was impeccable. We bought our home brand new some 13 years ago. It was your standard spec home with flat brownish toned colors which looked great. After having two kids, two dogs after thirteen years the wall colors needed some refreshing to say the least. We decided to re-paint about 75% of our interior home and with vaulted ceilings and a large great room, demanding work schedules we were not going to do it ourselves. We are a techy family, if you as a company do not have a website in the year 2021 you probably will not earn our business as it helps when choosing a company for busy families. So I researched for painting companies in the Kernersville area and Johnson Painting came out on top, hands down. I contacted the owner Joel Johnson and he was at my house within 48 hours and looked at the areas we wanted painted (kitchen, kitchen nook, great room, foyer, master bedroom, back hallway, downstairs bathroom, stairway going to second floor and upstairs hallway), holes from hung up wall fixtures that needed to be filled, some water discoloration to a ceiling from a leak, painting our entrance door, shutters, porch posts and some touching up of trim inside the home. Once we had the agreed upon quote, we decided on dates the job started. The crew is beyond meticulous, professional and friendly. I was working at home that week and was able to sit in the office and watch as they transformed our beloved home. They took great care in covering our belongings and cleaning up after each day. It took them about a week of all day painting but the results have spoken for themselves. We love the new colors and the refresh our home has received inside and outside. I highly recommend Johnson Painting Co. for all of your painting needs inside and outside the home. I will also be using them to repaint my business office. I hired Johnson Painting Company to fix my entire living room. I had just bought a house and the previous owner left the entire ceiling unfinished and not in great condition at all. I spoke with Joel, and he took on the challenge of trying to fix it for me. His team came in and within three days he had the entire living room from top to bottom looking like something out of a Home & Garden Magazine! The amount of work they had to do was a lot more than other companies did not want to do. I actually had people turn down the job because the ceiling looked so bad! When it was all said and done after a lot of sanding and painting and sanding and painting, I could not be any more happy with the way everything turned out. Everybody on the crew was professional and good people. I was given suggestions and recommendations by the team on what would make everything look better. Any little problem that popped up they were able to fix and went out of their way to make sure I was happy! I had some Sheetrock issues they found while painting and they were able to fix that for me as well as filling in some areas that needed to be filled in with new sheetrock to make the whole living room look better. Johnson Painting came out to our home to repair a wall and do a paint project which included removing the texture from the ceiling. They were friendly, on time and reliable. We could trust them to be in our home. I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again!

I attempted to paint my own dining room and had a terrible outcome! The tape that I used peeled the paint when we tried to remove it and we ended up having to get it off with a knife. The space I was attempting to create for my family was a disaster and stressed me out each time we sat down to eat as a family. I contacted Mr. Johnson and he came out to provide an estimate as soon as we were able to arrange a time and he started on the job the next day. He was so kind to myself and my mother and son. We had moved our table out of the dining room for the job and I came home to find it moved back into place. They cleaned the mess from the job (they had to sand the walls) and made the water damage on our baseboards (from our cats water) look great. THANK YOU! Mr. Johnson and his crew did a wonderful job on our bathroom. We had taken down the popcorn ceiling and then needed some major help with spackling and painting the ceiling and walls. I went ahead and decided to have them paint the cabinet as well. So glad we did! They fit us in between some big jobs and had it done in two days!

I was always told to get three estimates for any big service job, which is what I did when I needed the exterior of my house painted and also some substantial repair work done on my back deck and porch on the side of my house. After getting 4 estimates, I realized I could have saved myself the time and trouble and just gone with Johnson Painting and More. Their quote was the lowest and they handle everything from painting (obviously) to home improvement projects. AND they are incredibly kind. They owner of the company and his son insisted on coming to my house to help with a move on Sunday afternoon and they repeatedly told me they didnt want any money for just helping out. Unbelievable. We have to say that this was an amazing turnaround! They made a house with very little opportunity to a true home. Joel and his team went out of of their way at every turn. They worked with us throughout the project. If for whatever reason you hesitate or think of the money dont. We would recommend him for any situation. They truly are artist!

Joel Johnson and his son has done good work for our church. They have painted our activity building as well as repaired and painted ceiling damage when our roof leaked. They also painted our picnic pavilion. Good quality work at reasonable prices.

The Johnson Painting team made my home beautiful after I had a horrible experience with another painting company. Let me explain. We wanted a large portion of our home repainted. Joel was out of the country, so we got a referral for another painter. He quoted us a very low price and said they could begin the next day. I booked the job with that company. After looking at their work the first day, we knew that we had made a terrible decision. They did not use drop cloths, so we had paint all over the floors, their lines were not straight along the molding, they painted around light fixtures (rather than taking them off the wall). We had a terrible mess. After the third day, we fired this company. We were left with a half-completed job (which was done terribly). We frantically called Joel when he was back in town, and explained our situation. He came over the next day and presented us a proposal to complete the job (while fixing all of the goofs from the first painter). Joel, Aaron, Winston, and Jeff took their time and did a terrific job. They respected my husband and me, they cared for our home like it was their own. I cant say enough positive things about the professionalism, workmanship, and integrity of these men. My home is beautiful again thanks to Johnson Painting. Please learn from my mistake... do your research when hiring painters because not all painters are the same. Johnson Painting is First Class.

Quality work at a reasonable price! They went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied. Very friendly, respectful, and curtious. Made suggestions of how to improve the looks of my home that I had not considered without being pushy. Prompt and kept me informed of their progress throughout the time they were at my home. Easy to stay in contact with because they communicated via phone, text and email. I felt very comfortable with them and confident in their skills. Good, honest people! He came and gave me an estimate for window re-glazing on a rental property that in his frank assessment advised getting some window replacement quotes as well. Although i didnt see any of his work on my stuff, ive seen some quality work he does for schools and churches!

Joel, Aaron and Winston did a fantastic job painting our ceilings. They started on time, did a professional job and cleaned up after they finished. I called on Monday, received an estimate on Tuesday and the work was finished by Thursday!
