We needed new carpeting for our bedrooms and contacted Floor Coverings International in Kernersville. They were wonderful to work with. We were kept updated throughout the process. The workers were respectful and did a great job. We will definitely use them again for anymore flooring needs.

I hired Floor Coverings International to replace carpet in 2 bedrooms and remove an old countertop and replace it with granite. They did good work BUT tried to overcharge me by $1000! In the end I agreed to pay $500 over the agreed upon price. I would advise you to not deal with this company as they have zero integrity in my opinion.

I am so happy that we chose Floor Coverings International to redo our floors! We took out carpet and replaced it with gorgeous luxury vinyl plank. The whole process was so easy and enjoyable. Phil showed up the same day I called and was able to do an estimate and bring samples so I could see how different options would look in my home. He was polite, professional, not pushy, and made me feel at ease. Marty offered great customer service and answered all of my questions. The installers were on time, professional, and did an amazing job. They left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived. This company really makes you feel like you matter and are not just a number. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace your floors!!

They go above and beyond for their clients and for their workers. Floor Coverings International is the best place to get your flooring needs in the Triad! They are professional and knowledgeable about their products. They work with you every step of the way no matter if youre just changing out one floor or doing a whole remodel (which they do as well!). We found Floor Coverings International Triad to be a professional company who took the time to help us select the proper flooring for our needs and then took the time to install it properly. The installation took longer than they estimated it would, but they never rushed and they kept to the original cost estimate. We needed our entryway tiled and hardwood flooring installed in place of existing wall to wall carpet in the living and dining rooms. The crew did a very good job on both the tile and hardwood. They showed up exactly when they said they would and kept a clean job site. We would definitely use this company again. Good honest people!

Just had my hardwood floors refinished before moving into my recently purchased home. The two man team worked quick and the floors look great! There were a couple of places that the previous owner had cut holes in the wood and they were able to repair them without any problems.

They have done several rooms of carpet for me and also refinished hardwood floors. They were always on time, professional, and very cautious about leaving my home cleaner than when they came plus my floors looked fantastic! They are great to work with and Id highly recommend them.

Recently needed both carpet and LVT installed at my business and Randy and FCI came highly recommended. Not only did Randy give me a fair quote, but his crew worked very well with the painters who were in the building at the same time ensuring that the whole project could be finished on time. We had one minor issue post installation and Randy didnt hesitate to promptly send the job supervisor out to fix it. Well done overall -- highly recommend!

This company does serious business, from the first telephone call until the final installation, expert customer service and perfect installation of a new floor for my bathroom. So glad I chose them!

DANGER! Unprofessional installers coming your way! READ: A company is only as good as its employees, and this company has employees who Do Not do it right. (1) Salesman did not let us know that the “glue” was not included in the contract for the flooring installation, and then, after we called and said that we had not agreed to pay for this, charged us $276.00 extra anyway, and sent an email invoice with the charge. After sending an email to the owners disputing this charge, we were reimbursed. (2) Installers ignored our request to open “more than one” box of flooring, saying that all the wood was the same color, leading to the transition from the existing wood to the new wood being light to dark. Of course, there were many light colored boards in the other boxes!! When they came back out the second time, they replaced the dark wood, but did not put a shim at the transition spot, leading to a dip in the floor, and they had to come back out a third time. (3) Installers tracked glue EVERYWHERE. When they left that night, they swiped Paint Thinner all over the floors, leaving giant swirls, and the thousands –literally—of splotches of glue were still there. When contacted, the owners said that the glue could be gotten up, and after we informed them that conventional wisdom states that it needs to be done before it dries (1-3 days), they were unconcerned, and sent their crew back a week later. Every day of that week, we had spent hours each day, on our hands and knees, scrubbing up the glue. (4) The crew had to come back because they put the boards in the last closet in crooked, and with gaps between the edges. When the owner came out, he, too, acted unprofessional, making excuses for them. “Oh, they were probably at the end of the box.” What?? After ripping up the half-done job, they did the closet right the second time. There was also a 1” gap at one of the heat registers with No board, which had to be fixed. There is NO excuse for shoddy workmanship. (4) When they came out the second time, they used Our Goo Gone, and mopped it over all the floors, then left. Three hours later, we had gotten it up, scrubbing on our hands and knees. To this day, we still find spots of glue that have to be scraped up with our fingernails. But be careful, the wood is so soft, it will dent at the slighted pressure. First quality?? It has little cuts in it everywhere, and the seams are all splintery looking. (5) When the installers came out the third time (a large section was not glued down), they dropped their tools coming in the door, and broke an 18” tile, covering it up with their drop cloth. When the owners were informed about this, and also about the bathroom rug that was ruined because it had glue on it, there was no response to the email. The installers also swept the wood splinters off the driveway into the grass, but missed several nails and a piece of cutter blade. (6) There are nails visible all down the walls, an inch out into the room. When the owner looked at it, he said he didn’t understand why this was so, but made no effort to correct the situation. When the installers came back out, they took wood putty and swiped it at the holes in the wood.I cannot begin to express how upset and disappointed we were with this company. Stay Away, or good luck to you.

Floor Coverings International was my 3rd estimate for the first part of our big home improvement project - removing 21 year old carpet and replacing with hard wood floors. Our home is a split foyer so this project involved a great room, stairs and main hallway. I knew I wanted pre-finished, engineered, hand-scraped and I was recommended to them by Angies List . . . to date, never ever used Angies List! Turns out, once I put in the specs of the project, Matt K. from Floor Coverings International contacted me within a few hours and we began a conversation about what I was looking for and how they could provide a solution.It was a wonderful match and the Impressions, Coopers Plank in cocoa is now installed and it is perfection! The installation team headed by Reuben was dedicated and uber-professional and I am telling anyone who is considering flooring changes to call them FIRST! We could not be more pleased with Floor Coverings Internationals salesmanship, workmanship and customer service.

We wouldnt shop anywhere else for flooring. They have done several projects for us and the service is wonderful and the finished product is always spectacular!

No complaints, good people to deal with, no pressure sales, polite and thorough installation crew. Job was to take a day and a half, installation crew stayed late to finish up in a day!
