My daughter had some dental work done at Aspen Dental in Victoria, TX and I cannot say enough good things about the staff, the doctor, the facility, everything. Dr. McKee was AMAZING and was so patient and kind to my daughter, who had to have 6 cavities filled today and will have 6 more next week. The staff was so incredibly friendly, kind, and considerate. I would recommend Dr. McKee and his staff one thousand times over. It was an overall great experience.

I like the business set-up, however I took myself and two daughters. I was told I needed a crown, and my daughters they said had 5 and six cavities. I decided to get a second opinion since both of my daughters in 25 years have had only 5 cavities. The dentist I used to go to told me I did not need a crown, and my one daughter had 1 cavity, the other had none. It seemed like each of us would have paid Aspen 2K, for a total bill of 6K. They sound a bit shady on what needs to be done. But they clean up that small piece, they would have a perfect business model.

Very good experience at aspen dental .I am not good with needles to the point I will pass out did not have any problems and I wasn there having 2 teeth pulled. I have hated the dentist since I was a kid but they are phenomenal totally recommend them they really look out for you I have a big threshold for pain from my neck down but from my neck up very much pain at all will shut me down they helped me tremendously any problems I have I will go back until I started going to them in the past couple of years it had been 18 years since I had been to the dentist not as afraid to go anymore as I used to be I hope everyones experience turns out as good as mine was they are awesome totally dependable and they do everything they can to help you

Aspen Dental in Kernersville was a great experience! This is the place I will always go. The whole staff was very professional and easy to talk too. Dr. Baust was excellent and made the decisions for my teeth in my best interest and was so down to earth. I would highly recommend this office.

Aspen Dental was very professional. They catered to me and made me feel like I was the only patient they had that day! They took great care in explaining everything to me in terms I could understand. They also sat with me and explained how much each procedure would cost and made it a lot less scary. Because dentist bills can get very costly! Thank you so much!

I will NEVER go back in this office. The young lady at the front has Zero customer service skills! There has been multiple staff changes. I do understand that is not thier fault, but make sure the people in place have some sort of Customer service awareness. Know, she lost that office a patient today! And today wasnt the 1st time but it will be the last.

I went here to get work done on my teeth. I wasn’t happy with the results and informed them of my dissatisfaction. When I asked for a refund I received less than the amount promised to me. Yesterday I received a phone call from Lorraine, the receptionist, who claimed I needed to return some materials to them. She spoke to me in such a rude and condescending tone, never allowing me the chance to even explain myself or talk to the doctor. She even made threats to call collections on me. They promised to return my call but never did, instead I received a message today from a debt collector. I paid everything in cash and have no debts to this dentistry. This is so unprofessional on their behalf and I will definitely be reporting this to the NC State Board of Dental Examiners. Don’t waste your time here, you’ll be disrespected and taken advantage of!

The imaging process isnt enjoyable. The equipment is very high tech but cumbersome and hard to hold in your mouth. I gagged a couple times. The images were very impressive. The hygienist and the dentist were very professional and seemed genuine. Overall a pleasant experience.

I was very pleased with the friendly and welcoming demeanor of everyone in the office, but I was especially impressed with Dr. Theo Limerick. This was my first experience with franchise dentistry, rather than private practice, and it was a very positive experience.Dr. Theo was not the dentist with whom I had requested my visit (I was scheduled to see Dr. Heald), but ultimately I was glad that Dr. Theo was the one who was available to see me. He was gracious, personable, and informative as he presented the new patient exam findings. He explained the needed care, and made recommendations regarding priority treatment without being aggressive about scheduling something that would unduly strain my financial budget. He gave ample opportunity to ask questions, and gave reasoning for the recommended priority care.Overall, I left the office with an excellent opinion of the entire Aspen Dental franchise! I anticipate that my high opinion will continue as I make multiple visits for extensive care in the coming months.

Scheduled an appointment in February, got a earliest available appointment for nearly two months later which I was unable to attend due to a death in our family. Got rescheduled for another 2 months out because I guess a death in the family doesnt constitute a good excuse to miss an appointment. Now I have no dental insurance and cant be seen unless it comes directly out of pocket. I havent been able to go to the dentist in nearly 5 f****** years because lack of insurance and this place rescheduled me until I didnt have insurance. Just putting this review up to let everyone know not to bother even making an appointment and that when I get new insurance it will never be taken to any aspen dental. Front office is rude and doesnt take any emergency into account at all. Thanks for nothing

We were in desperate need of emergency dental care, so we were so thrilled they were a) open on Saturdays, and b) allowed for walk-ins for emergency services. After 30 minutes of calling in to no avail, we drive over and we see that Saturdays are by appointment only, no staff are in the building, etc.We could have saved a lot of time getting in the care and driving to Charlotte emergency dental. The hours on their site are inaccurate.

Worst Dentist visit I’ve ever experienced. As others have mentioned they do not actually do a cleaning at a check up visit, which can mean your visit and time can be utterly pointless. Also, I was led to believe that I was going for a cleaning and didn’t find out until after being there for an hour and 10 min that I wasn’t actually going to get my teeth cleaned. After seeing the dentist I was taken to yet another waiting room to hear about my “payment plan” for what would be done at my next visit. After having been there an hour and a half I had to leave and as I told the receptionist this on the way out, she said they would call with the information...we’ll they never called. Also, I had chosen to visit this office because I had read great reviews about Dentist Katie B. Heald, my appointment confirmed said I would be seeing her, but I did not. Overall, a visit to this office was a complete waste of time.

One of the worst experiences I have had for a dental office. My wife and myself went here for a teeth cleaning. As others have mentioned they will not do the cleaning at the first appointment. This did enough for me to not go back. My wife went back for her cleaning. As others have mentioned she required a deep cleaning. The worst part is they could not complete it in one day and she had to reschedule to complete it for next week.This business is terribly ran and terrible value with all of the hidden charges and time required to get any work completed.

I especially liked the dental assistant Rachel, she was so sweet, seemed to care that I was in pain, and just made having at tooth extraction as pleasant as possible. Friendly group, just dont seem to be focused on the clients best interest. It would appear to the casual observer that the focus is on the revenue stream. I made an appointment to have a chipped tooth looked at. No pain, just a sharp edge that I wanted to have burnished. I made the appointment for chipped tooth, yet when I got there they ran me through their patient onboarding routine which gets them a nice fee....total suite of x-rays, hygienist and dentist in consultation, etc. Long story short, they conjured up a proposed treatment plan of $4200+........and never did burnish the sharp edge off that chipped tooth. oh, would you like to make an appointment for that...? WTh? I thought that is why I made the appointment. Coming out of there with a 2 page recommended treatment plan made me wonder if I should be on a soft food, antibiotic diet as I move toward the inevitable bleeding, toothless, infected pie hole stage. I did not make the appointment yet......still waiting for the fight or flight impulse to settle.

On 11/17/2020 I had a new patient appointment at 730 AM (ON TIME, even early). I checked in as you do, the receptionist was going to have me fill out ANOTHER set of new patient forms but I informed her that I filled them out online. She then dug deeper into my account and indeed I did do the prior paperwork. For me that seemed a bit unusual for, what appeared like a well organized dental office even their website was easy to use. I did all the covid19 protocols and took my seat. I was about the 3rd patient. I witnessed 2 other people walk in BEHIND me and check in. Everyone got called back EXCEPT me. OK, I am a new patient so maybe that is cause for some delay. At 805 AM the receptionist tells me that they will be out here to get you. At 815 AM, I said to receptionist, I have to go to work. With NO apologies, she said that she did check and they will be out here to get you. Would you like to reschedule? I told her, this was a very bad first impression and NO I dont want to reschedule. Then she said she was sorry after I got up and headed for the door. Just on that interaction with Aspen Dental, I will NEVER go back or even recommend them. IF they cannot get their act together for a simple NEW Patient exam, how can they be trusted to do any Dental Procedures without mucking that up??

Definitely cant complain about Aspen. Everyone was great,front desk, x-rays, dental assistants, even check out. The atmosphere pleasant and professional. They were extremely thorough and offered several options for treatment. They also accept multiple payment methods. Will be going back for sure.

I had been going to Aspen Dental for years while living in Florida and always had a great experience. When I moved to North Carolina it made no sense to go elsewhere, so I made an appointment for an exam and x-rays. I was contacted a couple days later and asked to come in earlier to due a cancellation. I was happy too, since it was my day off and I had plenty of other things to do. Unfortunately, I sat in the waiting room for an hour, watching everyone that came in after me get called right in. After asking the receptionist if it would be much longer and explaining to her that I was asked to come in at 10:30 instead of 11:30. I was finally taken back. I got my x-rays, which took no time at all, and was taken to the exam room where I waited again, for a gentleman (whom never introduced himself) to come in and spend less than 5 minutes on examining my teeth and discussing any future procedures. It was when he said “it was nice to meet you, they’ll take you up front”, that I literally laughed out loud, because we hadn’t actually properly met. I had no idea who was all up in my mouth. I then waited in another waiting room to get my next appointment scheduled, only to find out they wouldn’t schedule my next appointment unless I paid for the procedure in fill, up front. To sum up this long, boring story, I spent 2 hours at this office in which only 15 minutes of it was spent on actual procedures. Needless to say, the office is very unprofessional and I was very frustrated and disappointed having wasted my morning.

Four wisdom teeth extraction experience was very painless (even during the healing phase) healed fast with almost no scarring. Beautifully decorated, clean, relaxing and professional office atmosphere also. Dr. Goldberg and his assistants Patty and Alithea were very informative and considerate during my time with them. Alithea even walked me to my car after surgery to ensure I was ok.(I had a ride.) I highly recommend!

Had extractions a couple of weeks ago during this time was told tooth had bad infection but she kept going as it was painful! Afterward she gave me NOOOOO medicine for pain or infection I feel I shouldnt have to ask for any so my mouth still hurting days later mouth still swollen Called the on call service on Sat she said take 1000mg of Tylenol that didnt help with the infection but I do know I wont be going back..Just got a call back for the lady to say I was suppose to have a follow up appointment two days later and its their fault they dropped the ball lol WOW DO YA THANK SO!!! I had to go to Urgent Care to get what I needed!!! Aspen Dental is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! MY OPINION...I hate I was referred here!!!!

Could not get teeth cleaned the first visit. Got xrays no cleaning. Made another appointment and instead they took measurements of gums and decided I needed a deep cleaning .That took two more appts.No permanent hygienist she came from Sanford not local. Just too many errors to mention. What sent me over the top was when I went in to sign the form to have my records sent to another office, because I’m not going back, the girl at front desk didn’t know what form to give me. I was told I had to come in and sign the form. She had to ask someone what form I needed. After that they handed me a copy of supposedly MY records and X-ray and it turned out to be somebody else’s... I’m done with Aspen. Ask for office mgr to call me. And that hasn’t happened.

I really appreciated how friendly and informative the staff were. The doctor was extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable. I definitely would recommend checking them out.

I received excellent service from Aspen Dental in March 2020.I had an emergency denture repair. Aspen Dental offered mean opening within a few minutes, versus others who offered a 3-day wait, at a much higher cost.My office experience was great. Great staff. I received free exam, and the Doctor was very professional and polite with an in depth consultation. My denture repair was quick and looks great, and the cost was much lower than others facilities.I am very pleased with Aspen Dental.

Overall was a great experience, only thing I didn’t like was when I was talking to an operator on setting up an appointment she told me that they did accept Medicaid and that when I went to my appointment that they will be able to accept it. I was not acknowledged appropriately. I have been in pain since the day of my extraction! I went back for X-ray to rule out dry socket. The doctor refused to prescribe more pain meds. It took him approximately 25 minutes to get my tooth out my mouth. During the process, my tooth broke! It was difficult getting out. Now from all the tugging and pulling, I’m feeling the pain still 4 days later. Doctor wouldn’t return my call!!! I’m in so much pain 4 days later. I will never go back. I liked the previous staff a lot better. I feel like I was acknowledged and fully respected. I have yet to hear from the oncall. I will never go back. I was told to seek my lawyer but I will let God take over it. I’m swollen still. I have missed 2 days of work.

This office felt very corporate. I felt like the purpose of the practice was to sell their services not what was best for me. They determined that I needed a deep cleaning and that my insurance would not pay ( my insurance said they would). They are using incorrect codes for insurance or it is really not necessary so insurance will not pay. They would not clean my teeth traditionally. So I was not afforded any cleaning at all. So I guess they think no cleaning would be better for me since I was not willing to pay out of pocket for the cleaning they recommended. I have been there twice and seen 2 different dentists and 2 different hygienist. I will not return and have found another dentist that is not out to up sell me to get a second opinion.

Recently had a root canal and crown, the crown was set a little long and would hit bottom teeth and one day while chewing, it caused the tooth to beak, dentist had to extract the tooth and adding that open space to the partial I will be getting.

Made appt. online, worked fine. Wait time was virtually nothing, however, filling out paperwork was forever. And it was on an IPAD, which Ive never used. Waited a long time to see the dentist, I think it was about 45 minutes. The x-ray of my teeth was fast. The nurse knew what she was doing and shes very good. Have some expensive work to be done but there was no hard sell which I appreciated. All in all, the visit was fine. Id go back for a cleaning and possibly some dental work.

Dr Waits is ridiculously nice and a great dentist. I tried everyone in town until she made me comfortable and took care of my dental needs. The staff is great and the place is nice. I can’t live without my Dr Waits and Autumn. The dynamic Duo.UPDATE - Recently, Dr. Waits and my favorite dental assistant have moved away to other dental clinics. Since that, I have visited Aspen and was still just as pleased with the care and attention I received. It was very tough to lose my trusted dentist after working so hard to find the “right” one, but again, Aspen has pulled through and made me feel good about necessary dental procedures and care.The staff I have dealt with at every level has still been extremely professional, kind, competent, and trustworthy.I very fortunately still feel very comfortable with my care there and I still HIGHLY recommend.It’s possible the process or people or even patient handling procedure may be slightly different than what you may be used to, but in my opinion the process is efficient and fair, the service excellent, and the care is genuine. This has been a great addition to Kernersville and it’s community.

Worst experience at a dental office! An initial appointment was set up and I took time off from work. I only needed a cleaning, but was told it would only be an evaluation. At that appointment, they set-up a cleaning appointment for me. I took more time off from work...went to the appointment...waited 45 minutes...and was then told they couldnt/wouldnt just clean my teeth. They wanted $2,000 to deep clean. I have dental insurance. I just want my teeth cleaned. What a SCAM!!! NEVER GO TO ASPEN DENTAL. Its a rip-off. I will be canceling my entire familys appointments.

A lot if miscommunication. I was told about a discount, First visit no discount, appointment for 2nd visit no discount. I was also told I need to be a new patient. My first time there I new . Paid out of pocket. Then for the 2nd visit it would be over $500.00...Where is this so called discount?I wouldnt recommend nor will I return. The financial person tried to fast talk me. Went for initial visit. Staff was friendly. Had xrays, which they stated were free for first visit. Finally saw the dentist. He did a quick inspection of my teeth. He stated that I had to make a separate appointment to have a cleaning. And then, if I needed a deep cleaning, I would have to make a seperate appointment. What?.Never heard of this before, as cleanings are done when you make the initial visit for that purpose. My teeth and gums are healthy. Just a way to get more money. I told him about the small corner chip in my front tooth. It is very tiny but sharp. He said he could fill it during a later visit. More money. On my way out I had to see a financial person. She informed me that the small filling would cost me $889.00! I have BCBS Dental ins. and even after that it would cost me almost $300.! What?!?! And my cleaning would cost me $175. even with my insurance? Excuse me, but I get 2 free cleanings per year with my insurance. This place is outrageous! Guess they expect us patients to pay for their fancy new building! NOT! Went to another dentist.

I was at the location as I drove my wife there for her appointment. While I was there I asked if I could be seen as well, and I was. It was an initial exam. The people are great, the process was very good. It was salesy at the end as they want to get you back in for more services. I am old enough to remember going to the dentist and if there werent any cavities, root canals, or other work to do, and no discomfort issues, they would send you home with an appointment for your next cleaning. Aspen appears to get into preventative care, which can be good as long as it really is necessary. I came in to get my teeth cleaned and checked out and walked out close to $500 lighter in my checking account (between my wife and I, and we have dental insurance). I will look to see how they perform moving forward.

The staff needs to be more knowledgeable about what insurance Aspen takes. Ive waited 2 mths for appt and on the day before, when I confirmed, Im told they dont accept my ins. What a waste of time !!!

I went in to have my teeth x-rayed, they said was fee and stilled charged me $30.00. Why? Then sent me to another office to have them check my x-rays. They told me I had an infection but never gave me anything, said implants would be best because my teeth were so bad. Then told me how much that would cost me. Outrageous. Then I called to have them get me something for the infection because it was making my ear hurt, never got a call back.

Aspen was easy to find and when I entered the building I was greeted as a long time friend. The assistants were so polite, and patient, when the Doctor (Dentist) came in, I was greeted with a hand shake and a introduction of who she was, she was very gental in examining my mouth,answered all my questions, and made me feel like a really mattered! I will be going back for all my dental needs!! If you are looking for a great place to go for your dental needs Aspen Dental is where you need to go!!!

I haven’t had dental insurance in several years, and honestly haven’t been able to afford it. Trust me when I say that your dental health is not something that you ever want to feel that you have to skip “routine maintenance” on just because of the cost. I was told about Aspen Dental by a friend and I am beyond thankful that I decided to look into it, make an appointment, and go. Every member of the staff that helped me there, from taking my x-rays, to the actual exam and course of treatment to be taken, and especially how they are going to work with me to set up an affordable payment plan, were all wonderful and didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was just another number. I can’t thank them enough for that and I will very highly recommend them to anyone and everyone I can!

SATISFIED!!!! ...After a last minute request for a cleaning, ASPEN accommodated me within an hour of my initial phone call !! I called 2 general dentist offices prior to calling ASPEN and the earliest appointments for the same service (cleaning ) was 2 mos out. Aspen provided a comprehensive and friendly service. I was very satisfied!!!!

Once to the back the staff was great. It was a lengthy visit to only get xrays and exam with no cleaning but the experience was pleasant. Everyone is very nice. I loved Dr. Waits she was sweet and very educational on things to suggest for improving my bite. I would recommend visiting here.

Everyone is so friendly and gentle with the exam. The dentist listens to you and there is no judgement if you haven’t been to dentist in a while. Clean pretty new office too. I highly recommend it and will let you know how it goes once my treatment begins.

I rarely leave a negative review, with that said, I must do so today. I prepaid for services based on their estimate of what insurance would pay. I severely overpaid. They did not call me and tell me I had a credit with them. I had to call them and their reply was you have to call us and request it to be refunded I responded, that If I KNEW there was a credit I would have. I paid with my Care Credit card, which I have paid off. They said weeks ago that they were refunding it back to the card, (The only way they can, so they say). I have not had a credit to my card so I called again this morning and was told, no one ever sent the refund through and they needed my card number?? WHAT? They couldnt call when they realized they needed it? NOPE, instead they are sitting there with my cold hard cash and I am left to waste MY time, calling them again. VERY VERY disappointed. CALL IN TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A CREDIT! My girlfriend went to another location an hour away and had the same response...we dont call you to tell you that you have a credit, you need to call us. RUDE and Unprofessional at best.

Thankfully I have dental insurance that provides some coverage, and I’m blessed with good teeth. Otherwise almost one thousand dollars for two fillings to be replaced, and a cleaning is a bit ridiculous.If you overlook the pricing, it’s a nice office with nice staff. I feel like I received good, compassionate care. It just sucks feeling like They are trying to make their next mortgage payment off of just me.If the pricing wasn’t over the top ridiculous, they’d get 5 stars.

Took 20 minutes to be acknowledged. I had gotten there 20 min early to fill out new patient forms, then I had to ask for them when someone finally came to the front desk. 40 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment having been ignored and no explanation for the delay given, I left. During the time I was there I overheard several conversations about their lack of communication or applying customer payments to their accounts. I also heard other customers complain about the wait times and lack of communication. Ive seen a lot in my time but this is hands down the worst run, most unprofessional dentists office Ive ever seen.
