Maria has done so much for me! Such a special lady & blessing! She greets you with the biggest smile & “Hey There Honey, how are you doing?” She has been “behind the scenes” (if that’s a good way to put it or say it) on several SPECIAL OCCASIONS for me from my daughters last prom & gorgeous red dress, one of my best friends renewal of wedding vows & her gorgeous white flowing pant suit, my first & only grandson’s (only grandchild for now)clothes, to anything bring her to make me feel & look better! She always does an amazing job and on time! I don’t trust anyone else with my clothes or anything else that I decide to take to her and ask her if she can do! I Love her!

I had the best experience with this sweet lady! After being told by multiple fabrication stores/alterations shops that I needed to buy a new zipper and have the old one completely replaced from my couch cushion sweet, educated, professional Maria helped me greatly by replacing the pull for the zipper in minutes! After taking my cushion cover to another alterations shop (prior to being recommended to maria’s) where I experienced the absolute worst customer service and had my cushion cover for two weeks and had not even started on it, I’m so glad I picked it up and took it to Maria’s instead! I will always recommend this business! She turned my awful experience somewhere else into the best in just minutes! She is extremely professional and from the moment I walked in she happily greeted me and was eager to help me in anyway she could! Thank you so much!!!

Maria’s shop did a fabulous job making alterations on my wedding dress! She is an extremely personal, kind, and fast worker! Cost for my alterations were very, very reasonable! She made my wedding dress look amazing! I would highly recommend her business;)

I had a tank top that was altered here. She did amazing and made sure that it was exactly how I wanted it to fit. I would highly recommend. Their antique store beside the location had a lot of great antiques and unique home decorations.

Altered several pair of tropical weight wool pants and a linen pair for my wife. When some instructions got crossed, correction was immediate, cheerful and well done. Stitching is clean, not visible. A new pair I had thought I could wear needed some, er, expansion. She found me sufficient space by letting them out to the max, doing a beautiful job of it. Prices are good. Worth the run over to Kville.

Maria took a bridesmaid dress, tailored it to fit me beautifully, added a belt, took off the train and reshaped the hip area to accentuate my figure. She used her vision and expertise to make that dress stunning - and in about a weeks turnaround time during prom season! She knows exactly where to take in the dresses so that they fit the best.It turned out so beautiful. Ive used her multiple times to change the look of an off the rack dress to be more complimentary. Shes a miracle worker!

Several months ago my nephew was killed. I had to find a tailor to do some alterations to my suit but had very little time to get it done. I was referred to Mrs. Maria by a friend. I walked in her place of business and explained my crisis. I was overwhelmed emotional and lost for words. She altered my suit immediately and when my son picked it up later that day she gave him a bag to give to me. In the bag was a card and a small gift offering her condolences. The suit fit perfect but the love she gave me on that day was by far more important than the suit fitting. I highly recommend her place of business.

Maria is the BEST! I came to her to get custom (and complicated) strap/sleeves added to my wedding dress. It turned out even better than I was expecting and she charged very fairly. She is super nice and talented! I will definitely be going back to her in the future.

I went to Maria after reading very good reviews about her work on our neighborhood app...so I gave her a try with a pantsuit that I needed hemmed. She was very reasonably priced, she helped me to decide the correct length...I observed she had a ton of formal dresses hung up as it was around Guilford county’s prom time...so I was happy to see that others trust her as well with more formal type attire...I will definitely be a returning customer!!

Ive never gone to an alterations place before and I thought it would be tremendously expensive but it wasnt with Maria! I also thought it would be really hard to alter a wedding dress but she got the shape perfect for me! I was worried that it would be so tight that it made me self-conscious. I absolutely recommend Marias Alterations and fully intend to go back to her for all my alteration needs - even for things I could probably do myself.
