We called this company with a request to clean our sofas right before the Easter holiday. The owner was quick to work us into the schedule, to which we were grateful. We were asked with the first sofa to be cleaned if the whole sofa was to be cleaned or just the cushions. - thought this was odd, and wondered if maybe he were in a hurry. The cushions were held over the carpet and sprayed with water and cleaner, then vacuumed. This took me by surprise, as it got the carpet rather wet. I expressed concern about this, but was assured that it would get vacuumed and would soon dry. The carpet did dry rather quickly, but with a touch of a crunchy texture. The sofa cushions took 3 days to dry, with my windows open and the fan on. The smell was that of wet animal, far worse than the faint smell of puppy that it had before. I unzipped the cushion to assist in drying them out, and thats when it was realized that the inserts were down feather. I take some responsibility for not knowing the composition of my sofa, but I would think that a company that does this professionally would have the insight to check the material before they clean. The second sofa was a cream color which had no real stain or damage, but it had darkened over time and so we were hoping that it would clean up nicely . After drying, this sofa looked darker than it had before, there is a crunchy texture and if you run your hand over it, you will get a grimey build up. Whatever was used to clean sofas, and inadvertently, my carpet, was not properly rinsed or vacuumed out. All in all, we were out $200. We were hoping to extend the life of the sofas, but have now slipcovered them and begun shopping for replacements. We had discussed having the carpets cleaned on a subsequent visit, but we will be choosing a new company for the next job.Hi Ron, it was with you that the appointment was made, squeezing us in first thing on Good Friday. :-/

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Chem Dry of the Triad. I have had them out to take care of pet stains on my carpet a couple of times in the last year. Always on time, professional and they get the carpet so clean! The first time I called them, another carpet cleaning company had come out to clean my carpet. They did a really poor job and hit a pet stain that had no odor before they cleaned the carpet. I was panicked because the odor was horrible! I called Chem Dry of the Triad and they came out the next day (week of Thanksgiving) and took care of the carpet odor. I will never use another company. I have been fortunate to have Gray as the carpet cleaner each time.He is a true asset to the company!

I used their service a few years ago. Imagine my surprise when they were able to remove a cola stain from several years previous to then. It was nearly 36 in diameter and they made it completely disappear!

Initially, when we called the lady that answers the phone said shes driving needed to pull over, we were asking questions, service packages, and our house details, etc. We booked the appointment hoping the experience would be a bit different. I got my carpets cleaned yesterday and wow. My carpet looks and feels new. Shane came out super professional explained the process and had a great personality. I have dogs and after he left you couldnt even tell there was ever one accident. I was really impressed with the work he did. I couldnt have ask for a better service. Chem-Dry of Triad is a great company. First, they arrived on time. They introduced themselves to me as Grace and Blake. I showed her the areas we had discussed to be cleaned. They were professional and explained the procedure and some helpful hints. I have very light carpet and they did a wonderful job of making it look like new. Very personal and recommend them highly.

As I am preparing to sell my mothers house I was so worried about the awful pet odor preventing anyone from being interested. I cleaned and cleaned and could not get rid of it. Finally I decided to get professional help and I am amazed. Truly amazed. I dont know what magic they did but not only is the pet odor gone, the house smells fantastic. Im so impressed. I called Chem-Dry at about 9 am on a Friday morning asking for a same day visit after having a very bad experience with a different carpet cleaning company the day before. I was worried about my still damp carpets, and was planning to host a party the following day.I spoke with Grace, and she was wonderful. Not only did she fit me into their schedule on a Friday morning, she and Shane were at my door in less than 90 minutes! They did a thorough walk through of my home, listened to my concerns, offered solutions, and got to work. My carpets are SO much better, and I am very happy with the experience. I recommend them very highly! Great work and outstanding customer service!

I own a local plumbing company and after accidentally marking a customers carpet I needed a fast, quality carpet cleaning job. I called this company and spoke with with Grace and Morgan. They were extremely professional and courteous when talking to me about scheduling. They were able to get a tech out to my customers home within 24 hours and promptly corrected our mistake!The price was more than reasonable also.And although I was not there, my customer informed me that the tech they sent was just as professional.I would highly recommend them to anyone I know!

We have used chemdry in the past and both times the staff has been helpful and friendly. It makes a huge difference on our carpets after the pets.

We had a very bad doggie accident in our carpeted apartment and we called this business to take care of it. They did not give us a quote before coming out, but we were happy that they could clean the carpet the same day. When they arrived, we explained the situation, making it clear that it was doggie bodily fluids. They recommended using a sanitizer afterwards and told us it would $139. We did not mind the price and agreed to the service. The carpet cleaning did not take long at all. 2 days after the service, when the sanitizer smell wore off, they apartment was still smalling very bad. When we called them to report it, they said we did not request the pet treatment and it would be another $75. I explained to them that when the cleaners came out, they did not even presented any options. We assumed that when we told them it was dog feces, that they would have already applied the appropriate service. Long story short, after $215 for one room and 2 carpet cleaning sessions the carpet was finally clean. What made us really mad is, they did not offer that treatment in the first place. Money is not the issue here. The issue is feeling ripped off because of their inability to even offer the right services the first time.We will never use their services again.
